To have the perfect chrome from Uschi, you must have a perfectly black mirror surface for a darker chrome or silver for a lighter chrome shade. Do not use ear buds, just a brush to apply eye shadow.
I know the Tamiya kits get all the love but the aoshima version really does build up nicely. What a great build this is. Fantastic work. Love the keyholes you do.
@@TheRadeko the problem with Aoshima is that their models doesn't always haev good fitting. I am building Mark II 90 right now. Chairs, cockpit and side panels quality is terrible
You’re totally right! The latest I’ve finished was a Huracan and some part’s fitting was just horrible.... I was just pointing out that while we can enjoy a nice variety of kits from driftcars to supercars from Aoshima(even with some flaws) Tamiya is sort of inactive and we see only a few kits from them each year...
Buy one? I'm looking for one to buy someone as a gift. Xmas right? Models made by Aoshima seems good but, depending where you live(country). There seems to be Uk wesbites for this brand. A matter of choosing difficulty now and ofcourse delivery time, few more days untill xmas. Someone should of told me they got me a xmas gift earlier.
It seems strange to me that Aoshima make such detailed kits, but no engine whatsoever. I've built a C110 Skyline from Aoshima, and the detail was astonishing. The options they give you with spare parts is really cool too. I just wish they included some sort of engine. If you want to see the real life version of this car, and just how good it was, search UA-cam for "Hot Version Mine's Skyline", or "Best Motoring Mine's Skyline". The car was an absolute unit, they are not small cars. This Mine's version destroyed the time attack scene for a while, and did well on the touge also. Ridiculously fast and the only thing it ate quicker than corners was it's tyres.
Love it! Impressive, I could only dream about being so creative and that steady hand is next level. Since it's a replica... Maybe it has had more steering wheels in it's day but you usually see it with a blue steering wheel. And GT-R use a squared wheel setup. But it's your build, you do it your way!👍
Love your videos, but audio sounds quite compressed. Consider double checking, and raising your audio bitrate settings because they are otherwise great videos!
You're dedicated :) n thanks now I want to build car models again lmao but mine will never look like yours. Glad I found your channel. That McLaren you did was, I don't have words to do that justice. I'm a sucker for skylines. Besides trucks (ford superduty/ram 2500), Camaros and the skylines are one of my favorite vehicles. Looking forward to seeing you're next video. I may be girl, but i love model building. Again can't wait till your next video
Thank you so much! I think women will do better modeling than men because they have more delicate hands and generally women are better in crafting handmade stuffs. I suggest build it slowly, be patient and don't rush. Maybe work on the body one week and paint next week. Do it slowly and just try to make each step perfect.👍
Nicely done. Just starting out on model cars/bikes myself. I noticed your way of applying stickers, any chance you can do a run down or how to video of applying the stickers please? 🤙🤙
Great build! If i must be critical, the real one has the Mines sticker in the place where you've put the VspecII sticker and it has no GTR badge :) Wish I had your modelling skills though. I even struggled with the Mines mirrors and mine were 24 times bigger haha
Love the video, taking inspiration for my first modelling attempt. When do you do the body panel line accents, before or after the clear coat, I couldnt see from your viedo? thanks
This was so satisfying to watch 😁. How many hours do you think it took? I've had this kit sitting on my shelf for several years but my lack of skills wouldn't do it justice 😭
Beautiful craftsmanship! I was blown away by your scratchbuilding. What brand of drill bits did you buy? The last ones I bought were not sharp enough to drill the plastic.
What brake upgrade kit did you use? I just bought this kit and combining it with a set of TE37 wheels. The stock brakes look so small behind those wheels. Fantastic build and video. It inspired me to buy this kit.
Thank you for the compliments! I made a mold of Tamiya Senna brakes and made copies. It's not that hard to make a mold and make duplicates, maybe i should do a video of that. There are some nice brakes on Ebay and Hobby Design makes nice brake upgrades too.👍
@@ModelCarMods Thanks for the reply and tips. I really appreciate it. One other questions. What was the reasoning behind cutting off lower lips/splitter on the front bumpers? From what I can tell, the lower portion of the bumpers appear to be the same? Thanks again!
It's a Can Gun, I used it because it take much lesser squeezing power to spray, and therefore easier to control where i want to spray and the amount of paint spraying. It makes it whole lot easier to spray rattle can spray👍
building such a small part is very difficult for me, it looks so easy amazing skills!!!
Those body lines were really nice and deep coming out of the box.
crazy skill, the shift knob especially.
the mirror finished after polishing is so satisfying :O
That Go-Pro was a brillant addition - Well done!
Nostalgia watching this. The hours i spent racing in gran turismo....lol
Love the build thank you!!
Those door locks though! 👀
Like 7:45 or so wish I could put stickers on my real cars window that well. Headlights were next level
Never see any one do a go pro good job man
This got recommended to me and I must say the the details are insane , looks like I'm binge watching this channel now, subscribed
19:17 now that was satisfying
THIS GUY RIGHT HERE
insane
this guy has God level patience ! . . . . amazing work brother , . . . you are brilliant !
Absolutely amazing build! Attention to detail is mind boggling really😳😍
Like seeing a leatherman being used 👍

Love the intro. Great shots! Making my coffee and watching rest.

Aoshima does great kits, not to mention the variety of cars they do....
And Tamiya wasn’t making any Mine’s GTRs as far as I know....

@@TheRadeko anyway, even Tamiya's 24090 Skyline GTR '89 quality of fitment is almost flawless, and that's early 90's
attention to details is top notch!
Very nicely done, I especially liked the small details added by you such as the key locks, valve stems and shift knob.
Thank you for that inspiration! I'm looking forward to building mine.
You, Sir, are a legend. Thank you for sharing your amazing skills!!!!
I watched every second of this videos I was just in the zone, have to say u absolutely smashed this, crazy 😍 love it
that little gopro just got you a new sub. very fucking cool.

a masterpiece of work

Great work, its amazing seeing the full build coming along start to finish. Nice video too, congrats 👍
WOW!!! Incredible work!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Building the same model this week. Thanks for sharing your techniques. Great video. Very inspiring.
Нравится подход автора к сборке. Получаешь эстетическое удовольствие, просто наблюдая за процессом.

@@ModelCarMods Thanx man. Any plans to build the MCR GTR or Z-Tune?
love the build and the detail is amazing, only thing, instead of using coins and drillbits, how about stick on lead wheel weights?.
Thank you! Yes you do that too, i just use anything that's available, coins, nuts, bolts, lead weights, just about anything😉👍
Great build 👍🏼
Looks wonderful 😉
Another great build! :)
Just found your channel, subbed/liked, Beautiful build.
i thought you would've definitely swapped the canards with thinner plasticard, they look so thick and out of scale
GT-R's are so god damn sexy. I'm in awe of your skills dude.
Love the video, taking inspiration for my first modelling attempt. When do you do the body panel line accents, before or after the clear coat, I couldnt see from your viedo? thanks
id love a z-tune style with my Mspec silica brass color

Beautiful 😍
this is art

finally a skyline I can afford...
Awe inspiring model build man!! Perfect in every sense of detail!! Where do you get all of your tools and supplys ( little drills , holders, etc.)
Thank you! I buy my supplies from my local shop near LA, or just ebay👍

the exhaust !!!❤
amazing as usual
Такую бы точно в 64 масштабе!
what is that black dots in front bumper ? paint from spraying around windows ? BUT that was an amazing job ! well done ;-)
I tried to do some track used effects around lower intakes🙂
Holy shit, really well done!!!!!!! :O
Fantastic job :)
awesome video!! I'm currently building my mines GTR. what is that really thick glue you use for the windows ?
Thanks! That's Silpak 5min 2part epoxy👍

Amazing
perfect!
when dropping decals in water, what temp for water to use ?
cold water or hot or mid temp ? i use mid temp
Just room temperature for me, to be honest, i haven't tried hot or cold water really😅
What tool did you use to deeper the panel lines? Also, how did you painted them black?
I use MADWORKS MODEL SCRIBER CHISEL, TAMIYA PLASTIC SCRIBER.
If the panel lines are deep enough, don't need to paint them.👍
Superb
Very nice
Looks a little strange. When was this kit made?
where are they bought?
insane
I want that to be "mine's"
good
What camera and lens combo are you using?
I just use my phone, Galaxy S21 Ultra👍
@@ModelCarMods noooooo really????? Woow really nice dude!!!!!
What brand and material do you have for the grill?
I believe i used the one that was included in the kit👍

I'm thinking something American😁
@@ModelCarMods Modern or classic?
Maravilloso 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
why the coins weights?
Wow😮
from where do you get those model car kits?
From my local store; Burbank's house of hobbies or just online, Ebay👍
what did you use to do the carpet?
It's Detail Master Flocking 👍
What diameter tube did you use for the keyholes?
I used 0.7mm tube
@@ModelCarMods thanks for the reply! I am going to try this on one of my kits
@@ModelCarMods where did you get the 0.7mm tube? I am having trouble finding it. The smallest I can find is 1/16 of an inch which is bit too big
Отлично!
