13:13 hello, normaly they had not to grease because of its special inlay. I dont know why you have the old brackets with the screw is not welded on the bracket which holds the roll bar. Maybe the bushes there have to be greased I don’t know. The actual roll bar has a piece of paper inside the package who they talk about not to grease because of their special inlay material inside the hole. I haven’t greased it up on mine 😀
I can remember doing my rarb and my rear axle bolts was seriously rusted on and took a good few hours of back and forth force to get them off. A well worth mod though and would hate to drive a vxr without 1 now after feeling the difference
Thanks mate! Honestly such an improvement and complements the diff perfectly. I'd love to get a track day in to test it out properly but wanting to sort a quieter exhaust and a map first 😅

@@colinguerrieria8374 sounds awesome, you'll have to stick a clip of it on your UA-cam when it's done 😁 yeah I've heard more pistons you need a bigger master cylinder as the pressures get too low, will have to look into whether that's possible without changing too much
Id love to see a wheel refurb, mine our horrendous, just need to see a fellow VXR owner do it themselves which will give me the impetus to get off my fat ass & do it myself 😀 Having them powder coated is of course the best way but expensive.
I'm so tempted to do it, mine have loads of scrapes from previous owners so they look awful at the moment. But having painted a few bits for my cars now, I know I'd likely not get it perfect, and that might annoy me as much as the missing paint that's already there 😅
The RARB can be done in a couple of hours at most going steady, including getting the car on stands, wheels off and back on etc (but I already had it in the air from doing the bushings so couldn't say for sure). Bushings took hours and hours to hammer out though!
It's not just me with wonky AFLs then! I think whoever retrofitted them just used adapter looms and didn't add the headlight controller or level sensor, so they don't self level or turn with the steering. The beams are correct at least though 😅
@@JamesBalazs yea mines are the same mate mines were fine until one ended up chipped and leaked some water in I took the light off and forced the beam straight again 😄
Wish I’d done this when I changed my rear bushes a couple of years ago. I just went standard. Had to air chisel them out!
Excellent work. I'm surprised these cars did not come with a rear anti roll bar from the factory
Keep the VXR content coming 👌 ✨️

Yes it's definitely one of those mods that completely transforms the car!
Great vid pal, good upgrades to! Go well with that LSD 🎉🎉

Good job mate it's definitely overdue on mine 👍
You guys need the bigger rear brakes and vented off the vectra vxr best upgrade i did with 345mm brembo fronts
Will be hopefully doing KSport 356mm 8 pot fronts, and Vec rears next year after I find the limits of my MTEC/EBC stock size setup on track 😅

Good effort well done
Well done mate deffo on my to do list getting the stock bushes off deffo looked a pain haha
Definitely worth getting it out of the way, it's a bit of effort but then you only have to do it once 😅 drives like a brand new car after honestly!
@@JamesBalazs haha that’s very true mate will deffo look into getting them swapped out after mapping as that’s taking up all my funds 😂😂
This is on my to do list for tomorrow morning, along with fitting eibach pros all round. How long did it take you to do this?
Did you ever do a review for this bar?
how it feel at the comer ? wonder
do you have a part number for the rear bushes?

Ur left afl's cockeyed the same as mine, had some water in it and ended up fucked 😄 subbed mate from one vxr owner to another
