We can’t wait to take you along for another exciting trip! Our Disney cruise vlogs will be coming up over on The Sanbrooke Adventures UA-cam channel ➡️ youtube.com/@TheSanbrookeAdventures?si=y6Ek9ekgUpcSO3WD
Hurry up and get the fort lauderdale blog out! Dying to see this boat trip! And I think this special announcement is that your getting married this summer at Disney world Orlando and your looking at the function place you’ll be getting married?? I’m going to guess that… am I right ? 😉 😊
The US really does have to make a bigger commitment to rail travel! We are so behind the rest of the world. Hat's off to Brightline and its partners for a neat and clean comfy ride experience.
Yeah, but the first rail step the US could take, Amtrak especially, is following Brightline's Wifi technology, which uses Starlink's sattelite based network, as the only rail operator in the entire world, which achieves the world's fastest Wifi speeds on a train, it's literally insanely fast and stable for a train, compared to all other train Wifi I've tried, which almost doesn't work at all.
Nice and different video, good to see a train featured in this vlog, a US train, at first thought it was a monorail type train or maglev by non track platform I could see at 21:44. But have heard they leave that for expansions, Ebbsfleet International got a bit like that, for expansion incase another platform is to be added at a later date? The bridge that goes up and down for boats, in Kent we have one like that, Kingsferry Bridge which goes up with track on it when boats want to come through. Might be something worth seeing if interested? Swale its located, on the way to Isle of Sheppey & Sheerness on Sea. Norse, have heard about them, have seen their planes take off and land while visiting Gatwick Aviation Museum last year or year before. Nice museum that especially if a fan of aviation, recommend anyone to check out & visit. But got nice views for plane spotting especially if love watching coming and goings a.k.a takeoff & landings at Gatwick itself. Didn't know there was 10 planes, thought there was only one, so learn't something new. Something I was going to suggest to Merlin Parks was to maybe in future build direct train services from Kent, North via outside of London, connecting to Southern UK aswell Northern Airports aswell the Merlin Resorts. Creating Merlin Entertainments own Merlin Express, think that would be epic and a real money maker for the resort company itself especially if they offer car parking, baggage express and easier access to parks without cars. Would be quite epic and easier access for a good price from all over the UK from stations such as Ashford International, Ebbsfleet Int to Gatwick Airport, London Heathrow via other airports to southern Merlin Resorts & Parks aswell Alton Towers Resort. Be very useful especially if connecting in future aswell to Universal GB if happens? But nice vlog, really enjoyed, have liked and shared & look forward to tour around destination before Cruise & vlogs over on Sanbrooke Adventures. 😀👍
Flew with these last November. Perfectly fine except steep prices for the extras. Bit of a trek going from C side to A side at MCO and vice versa but manageable. And the check in desk at MCO is behind the Emirates desk, thus slightly hidden. Have fun.
I love that Charolette is wearing her Maverick Hoodie…representing my home amusement park Cedar Point❤❤❤ Enjoy ur Florida Vacation and 1st Disney Cruise🚢
Your travel vlogs are absolutely fantastic! It’s so good to find out all this information before you go, and see new airlines, it helps you feel more confident travelling around. Have a wonderful time! 😃🎢☀️
Ft. Lauderdale is known more for spring break and the amount of university students who go every spring. Most hotels cater to students with lower prices and more space to accommodate everyone. That’s why you got that deal on the hotel. Daytona is exactly the same. Ft. Lauderdale normally is a nice quiet town with a lot of street fairs celebrating art or whatever. It’s a nice place although the rich district is crazy as it’s so close to Miami.
Love travel day vlogs and as always your are very well filmed and edited. never heard of norse before but nice seeing different options. it can be done cheaper than people realise just disney/universal tickets cost more than the flight haha.
Yes if you choose the cheapest seat and luggage option plus take your bought food from departures etc. You can also get to I' Drive cheaply...and vice versa..via catching the public Lynx buses from A side MCO....it's $2 per person per journey and takes about 70 minutes each way.
Great vlog TPW crew. Not heard of Norse before but they look pretty good. I like not having to worry about flight meals as I’m not a fan either. Loved the Brightline train service. Your apartment looked beautiful. I used to work at a railway swing bridge so I was fascinated by that swing bridge outside your apartment. Can’t wait for your cruise vlog. Brightens up my day thanks guys👍
People were buying snack packs at departures and taking them on board. The prices for main meal and snack meal are too high on the plane...£25 /£16... this was last November.
Flew with Norse last Sept (to Fort Lauderdale and back from MCO). Customer service was equally rubbish in Premium, we had to ask for water. Hope you enjoyed Fort Lauderdale. Its a lovely place. They do a free jazz brunch on Sunday in the park you can see from your balcony. Unfortunately brightline wasn't open when I went, so I got the Flix bus back to Orlando. Was actually comfortable and pretty quick and only $20. Have a great trip!
Love this video. I especially like how you've explained everything when flying. For a non flyer to USA it'll all be straightforward for us as I'll just keep re watching your video's of airport arrival lol.
Absolutely love these travel vlogs! While the destinations are always great, there's just so much excitement in the journey 😊. Can't wait to follow along!
Brilliant travel vlog I’ll check out the videos on the other channel. That apartment was fab. I’ve never seen a washer and dryer in a hotel type apartment before! The knife block is self sharpening, seen them at the food show.
As someone living in Norway (base of Norse). I believe the customer service being very silent or not saying anything, can be seen as rude by many, but just a very norwegian service attitude, where they know what you ordered, you get it, no need for small talk or anything. In many ways, in Norway, quiet service with little to no interaction means better service from what I have experienced
I wish I had known that you was flying out of Gatwick I would have come and said Hi as I work at Gatwick in the baggage hall. I would live to actually meet you guys I follow your site as much as I can. Have a great trip Paul
Excellent travel video Shawn and Charlotte from London Gatwick to Orlando with NORSE Atlantic Airways, and on the NEW Brightline train service. We then check into our apartment in Fort Lauderdale, close to the Disney cruise port! , keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte.😀😀👍👍
The brightline is actually a fusion of Japanese and American tech with European looks. It’s a good high speed train just we don’t know how it’ll operate long term so this is why we run it now so we know.
Great informative channel guys and your other one. Just cooking my Sunday lunch while i watch this video .looking forward to your next ones. cheers guys, David
The freight train that crossed the bridge at the end is the Florida east Coast railroad They usually have a window for like an 1 hour to allow the the trains to pass and then the boats South Florida is a busy place for.boating.so train bridges here are usually open here in the USA unlike Europe where most bridges are high level
Hi Shawn and Charlotte I wish so much I could get back to florida ❤ I'm so excited for this trip. Thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey ❤❤❤❤❤
I live in the panhandle of Florida it’s about a 6 hour drive for us to get to Disney. But if brightline ever expanded up by us and had a Disney stop. I would take it. Yeah it would probably be slower but less wear and tear on my car and I could relax
It’s worth noting with a budget carrier when things go wrong they really do! Cancellations, diversions happen often into MCO in the summer. Be aware especially with families you get what you pay for and left high and dry! That few quid might be worth it for piece of mind!
If you are into planes, watch "Japan Airlines New Flagship A350-1000 Delivery", the way JAL configure the cabin is second to none. Even in economy class, the footspace is generous, and the backs of the seats are quite reclined already as a default. That's because in Japanese society, people don't want to inconvenience anyone, so they tend not to recline their seats out of respect for the people behind them. JAL therefore came up with a concept where they don't have to do that in the first place.

There's a Gregs in South Terminal LGW arrivals for when you come home. Straight ahead after luggage collection and customs!
