NFA, but a good example I think is BEAM, Avalanche's main gaming layer. Lot's of excitement around this project, and rightfully so IMO, but now 40% off its highs.

I'm layinering into gaming. I missed the lows in Q423 for gaming (it was on my radar but I was cash-poor till early this year. I mean I was deployed and into some things that did well, but not yet into gaming). But I've been layering in bit by bit this year.
_Beam_ is one, _Prime_ is another (my bags were and remain too light on this one), _Super_ (since it will always get attention) and several others. Not sure which one(s) will hit but that whole sphere is narrative-driven so getting in at good prices means when it 'hits' then tokens that have shown strength in the recent (not distant) past tend to rise too (getting out of ones that lose traction is key tho, like with anything else).
This is good to hear. You're older like me, I can tell by your references, and the older investors seem to want to avoid this space. Not the move IMO.

I had the CPI 50/50 trade nailed! The problem is the feeling has legs on it so it is what it is. Gambling! All the same, nice. GME had a ton of dead cat bounces first time round.

Indeed. Spans far beyond Axie.
XRP looks beautiful on the higher time frames. Ripple case ending (again), XRP ETF, Ripple IPO etc these are all major catalysts that will pump the price dramatically and explosively. It's all written in the chart.
in my opinion thorchain ($RUNE) is still cheap (currently $6.8 with TVL of just $366M)
if it captures 1% of BTC MC (~$13B) in its BTC:RUNE pool (which i don't think is unreasonable with streaming swaps, saver vaults, and lending) then this would give $RUNE a deterministic MC of 3*$13B ~= $50B, which is 25x from here or $170.
edit. although, i believe there is currently 2x premium on thorchain's price compared to it's deterministic price, so maybe my calculations are off.
This is not particularly on topic as far as crypto/Web3 matters go but seems to me on topic per the title "What is cheap?" I agree completely on natGas but lithium and rare earth metals also look cheap to me - check LIT, LITP, REMX, MP. One may have to be patient and it may not yield the kind of explosive price action that crypto offers. That said, if you can afford to wait, lithium and rare earths are likely to follow the rest of the commodity complex with time. Just my $0.02.
I've never been much for lithium, but I've been tracking MP for years. I think there will certainly be a time and a place.
