  • No Nonsense Forex has had its share of detractors, as you would expect. Some are sillier than others. But two of the biggest have a common theme, and it should be discussed, because everybody here has had these same thoughts at some point, and they may STILL creep up from time to time. VP and Robb discuss the most common -- The guy who thinks shortcuts are the way and will settle for nothing else.

'You have the right to work, but for the work's sake only. You have no right to the fruits of work. Desire for the fruits of work must never be your motive in working. Never give way to laziness, either.'
The most difficult part of my trading journey is learning to enjoy the process instead of focusing on the outcome. Work done with anxiety about results is far inferior to work done without such anxiety. Love the process.

I've been here since the beginning. You get at least a Master's Degree in the Art and Science of Trading with an additional Psychology Degree here. A lot of work. But worth it and constant learning and improvement 😊

People hate to heart the truth cause it hurt and it pissed them off, the only reason why they haven’t unsubscribed to your channel is because they know you’re spitting the truth and they know it, but hard for them to accept it cause it’s the truth, they will act like you’re not being fair with them , that’s human life. When you think it’s easy to make money in the industry and suddenly you hear the channel you subscribed to telling you it’s going to be quiet difficult and it going to take years to achieve whatsoever you’ve planned for, at that moment you start to feel some hate but the fact is that there’s no short cut but to take the long process. Oh my God he's so right. But once I figured out that I didn't want to gamble and that this is a process.... I became comfortable with learning trading, economics, psychology, and learned how to be a better me.

I'm going to claim that your channel is still a shortcut channel, in the sense that it will greatly reduce the amount of time and lost money for someone to get onto the right track, but they still have to put work into it. Cutting the amount of time in half isn't good enough for them, because it's still hundreds of hours, they want it to take minutes.

I never really thought of it that way, but you're right.

@@NoNonsenseForex There is a certain appeal in having immediate feedback, to know whether you're on the right path or not ahead of time. But you have no way of knowing that before walking and completing the path. I think people just want reassurance that they're not wasting their time, since you can't get that back.

I love how some people feel entitled to getting something for nothing and then complaining when it doesn't happen. They will also be the first people to blame you when they lose their investment, kinda like the ones who, instead of following a recipe, substitute ingredients and shortcuts and then say your recipe is shit because it didn't work.

There are some old video games I used to play which would entice you to get involved in the action immediately, but would resoundingly beat you every time. Instead if you played in a very boring and methodical way and were patient - you'd manage to eke out a win. However, because it was boring to play like this and no fun whatsoever, nobody ever played like this and said the game was too hard.
Forex trading is no different... especially since the brokers want to entice you to place trades and blow your account as fast as possible.

Were those games Japanese? Sounds like a Japanese thing to do.

@@NoNonsenseForex The one in particular I'm thinking of is "Impossible Mission". You could try to dodge and avoid the robots in every room but they'd almost always zap you. The only way to really win was to complete a really boring and repetitive musical puzzle over and over again. It would give you the ability to freeze the robots temporarily so you could navigate the rooms unimpeded. It took a long time and required patience, but it would ensure that you won.

VP been with you from the beginning but cut out for 3 mo. Back and not impressed in the content. I get it, we’re waiting for Turkish Lira and Yen to move but there’s no substance anymore. Please come up with something fast or you’ll be stuck in no man’s land. Tell Rob there are no vacations, just change of scenery. Please for god sake skip the bitching videos and start speculating with confidence like you should. Thanks…-TK
