Good clear video thanks. I bought my red 2012 Vauxhall Agila b 1.2 SE with 94bhp nine years ago. It has been perfect for my needs and faultlessly reliable with only my DIY servicing and a few consumables needed.
Hello Absolutely loved this as this is the car I have, helped me so much, I'd love to see a ignition switch replacement and programming the key for this car as I have nothing but trouble with it at the moment James
Nice video..Good if you can get some videos on ..coolant change..brake pad change, brake fluid change..power window how to fix when not opening..Thanks
It's a very straightforward service to do. My only advice would be make sure you buy good filters. I personally stick with MAN filters as they are equivalent to genuine parts. 👍
Nice video! I particularly like the engine clean..i was taught that too:) Is this engine a Vauxhall or a Suzuki please? Im possibly going to replace my worm out Panda with an Agila 1.2. had fiat so long now im quite apprehensive tbh.
I have this car 2008 with 22k miles. Build quality is not great but does get 44mpg on average (last 3k miles). Heavy clutch tho and I've had the clutch kit done😢
Good quality chain. Just change the oil and keep it at the correct level. Later engine from 2012 has dual VVT with twin phase shifters giving higher power, lower consumption and much lower road tax. It's reliable and effective.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes they are fantastic little cars!

I have the 1.0 gasoline and I was wondering if it has any fuel filter... I can't find any.
Probably not. If it does it would be inline under the vehicle

I can say for 100% but I'd imagine it's a Suzuki engine. The agila is just a slightly different variant to the Suzuki splash
Very helpful
Thanks for the feedback
How do you do fuel filter please
No fuel filters to change on these.
Thanks 👍
Hi, looks easy to work on.. are those 1.2’s on a chain or timing belt please..? 🤔
Hi Patrick, yes these engines are pretty basic and very easy to work on.
These engines are driven by a timing chain.
