On mine when I put a capo on, it went flat. Went on Amazon & purchased the official “Gibson” Les Paul strings; now it sounds like a gem. Hope this helps anyone else having that issue.
I have that guitar in black. I play my own style of dark metal. It's a good guitar and my second Epiphone. I love it. Well mine is the Studio LT but it's the same guitar.

Whoa! It's not the hardware guys. It's the sound set up. The sound is total MUD! C'mon man. Get the overhead, drive, and EQ on the amp and notes right before you record. This sound clip did no justice for this guitar's great sound. Did y'all notice that this dude didn't reveal his identity on the clip. That's right. He intentionally made this guitar sound like crap.

If you want to listen to a quality sound review of the Epiphone Studio LT, then this is the LT/E1 set up the way it should be: Review | Epiphone Studio LT | Jacquard Lawalata | Duetto Music. There is no translation but the sound says it all.
Hello, how comfortable is around the base of the neck? I think it has a sort of contour in the back.
Is it better than a normal special 2 model in that aspect?
Change out the pickups, tuners, nut and you have a decent modifiable LP
Perhaps, the pots as well...
why the tuners, also where is the "nut"? There are multiple screws on the guitar, thanks!
@@jackhobo6597 The nut is the white piece above the frets below the tuners with 6 grooves for the strings to lay over. Traditionally made of bone they are synthetic bone on this guitar, whatever that is.
