great cleans!!!

These are EPIC guitars. Primo.

I purchased a 60’s Epiphone Les Paul in bourbon burst I installed Grover locking tuners and a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge just for kicks and I purchased an Epiphone case for it because I felt it deserved it 😎 I sold one of my motorcycles and with a pocket full of cash I went to the closest Gibson dealer I played 3 Gibson Les Paul’s and none of them felt better so I walked out with a pocket full of cash lol I know people talk about the finish on the neck being sticky but I don’t get that I’m 100 percent happy with my Epiphone !

I own the 50’s Epiphone Les Paul gold top I had been playing more modern guitars and just wanted something more traditional . I was shocked at how good it was not only the fit and finish but the tones were exceptional I purchased an Epiphone case for it because I thought it deserved it and I purchased a Seymour Duncan covered Jb thinking it would be a step up and I wanted it to look untouched (factory) but I never installed the Seymour Duncan it’s still in the case pocket lol I guess I’m 100 percent happy with the guitar !

Awesome! I’m planning on buying that exact model and colour guitar in the future. Maybe sometime next year.

I just HAD to get the Gibson Classic, and now all I play is my Eiphone SG Modern...

I love everything about this guitar the "hollow" sound the color the hollobody the style it needs the amp that goes with it (I would say a Vox?) even if my favorites are the Mesa I'm paying for my 60th birthday!!

Bought one used $180. Gutted it and did plenty of fret work. Doing a shallow belly cut next. DiMarzio Custom Taper pots, 50's wiring as well. Back up guitar to my modded muse

If you want to listen to a quality sound review of the Epiphone Studio LT, then this is the LT/E1 set up the way it should be: Review | Epiphone Studio LT | Jacquard Lawalata | Duetto Music. There is no translation but the sound says it all.

Gibson has so ridiculously expensive, young players have never played a real guitar and are setteling for this low end import.

Hello, how comfortable is around the base of the neck? I think it has a sort of contour in the back. Is it better than a normal special 2 model in that aspect?

Whoa! It's not the hardware guys. It's the sound set up. The sound is total MUD! C'mon man. Get the overhead, drive, and EQ on the amp and notes right before you record. This sound clip did no justice for this guitar's great sound. Did y'all notice that this dude didn't reveal his identity on the clip. That's right. He intentionally made this guitar sound like crap.

High end Sg it's brilliant shame they have been recently discontinued on sale what's left of them they will go sky high on the used market and rightfully so..

Excellent guitar

On mine when I put a capo on, it went flat. Went on Amazon & purchased the official “Gibson” Les Paul strings; now it sounds like a gem. Hope this helps anyone else having that issue.

It's nice to hear someone play with a clean sound for a demo, without all the distortion.

They should have made the standard goldtop finish should be a stronger finished .

They call that a open grain finish and you have to watch out because they can crack.

Just bought one of these. It’s got a good bit of fret buzz when tuned out of the box at a few different strings/frets. I have done nothing but tune it. No professional set up. But my other guitars don’t have this problem and I haven’t really done set ups on them. Is that normal to have feet buzz out of the box (a few high/low frets when testing with a straight edge). Trying to decide on keeping or returning the guitar. Thanks!

You can spend your money in what you want. I have several guitars and none of them in this price. But some of 300 hundred euros sound better, moreversaitle, warmer, richer...than this hign range expensive guitar. The´s the truth.

I used to own one like this but sold it again, I hated the neck dive (I'm talking 90s model), then considered buying it again because the Gibson Antique Natural was sold out and it was gonna take a year to restock, then I found 1 store in EU that still had 1 Gibson, miraculously, I immediately bought it for nostalgic reasons, I used to own a 1975 Flying V back in the 70s, sold it again in the 80s, always regretted that. Now I own its newer version. But Epiphone is becoming the new Gibson cheaper range.

The price of this guitar has gone up 100 euros in 2 weeks time, I managed to order one from Sweden for its original price. Same goes for other 'inspired by Gibson' models that I own or that I've been watching, most have become at least 50-100 euros more expensive within weeks. Since these Epiphone guitars are becoming better and more expensive, my theory is that Gibson will eventually focus on custom shop and other 5K+ models, the 'lesser' models will be released by Epiphone, becoming even more expensive, and better. I already own 2 inspired by Gibson SG models, they can't be beat for the money. Why pay top dollar if you can get almost the same for a fraction of the money. Unless you're a Gibson head stock snob. So there are 2 ways to go: buy an affordable Gibson while they are still around, or buy an Epiphone for a couple hundred bucks before they get the Gibson price tag.

No "review" there, bud. I have this guitar in the honey I shrunk the bank account scheme. It is really GOOD. Lots of people kneejerk moaning about the pickups. I have many different guitars with many different pickups plus lots of experience at swapping and upgrading and have no intention on changing the pickups on this; they are great.
