IIIA and IIIA+ are for the heaviest caliber pistol rounds and only IIIA+ provides some minor protection from lower powered rifles. Seeing as most early game armor is IIIA thats why it feels like you take a single burst from enemies using 7.62x39 and are immediately messed up. However with class III armor youll more than likely only receive bruising for the round that hit you in the armor. Ever since i switched from running IIIA plate carriers to III frontal armor with a tac rig i only really get messed up by headshots or from behind. Rear or side plating isnt all that useful right now in PvE purely bc the enemies arent really smart enough to flank you and youll only really take rounds in those places when youre spinning around to relocate or from the random shots from enemies shooting through walls. And considering most encounters with players will have them headshotting you, your center mass having protection on the sides and rear is even less important bc even in CQB encounters youll be facing them more times than not(and if you aren't. Two clicks vs one click and drag…. I think I’ll keep dragging ammo into my mag. Haha I actually think it’s three clicks since you right click, choose load ammo, then choose ammo type to load.
Or…. You don’t have to click ur mags to load them just throw the ammo right in 1 click per mag and your good to go no fiddling with menus no click hover click If I’m in firefight and I use all 4 mags and it takes a minimum of one second per action clicking and hovering counts if it is on a pop up menu. To click and drag into a mag can easily be completed within a single second if the ammo is next to directly above or below the mag. So 4 mags reloaded takes 4 seconds ( this is not accurate, in practice it’s more like 2.5 ) Vs click on mag hover load and hover the ammo type then click the ammo type Even if you are a precision god that’s twice as many clicks per mag, not to mention you have to hover the load option on a window that is created by the first click. Overall much more complicated. So overall method A actions required: click, mouse movement Time:4 seconds Method B actions required: click, precision hover, click Time: 10 seconds Or it takes you 120% longer to repack your mags than me 😊
@@nonetype66 and if you store excess ammo in a backpack in your locker that's a double click to open the bag then a third click to drag it over to your mag. This game doesn't need "finishing" or "polishing", it needs working basic mechanics. There are two game-breaking problems, both concerning AI: 1. AI sometimes doesn't react to you for 5 seconds or more when standing right before you and looking right at you. On other occasions, they shoot you right in the head through four layers of visually impenetrable bushes before you've ever heard or seen them. Or they're running at you, 200 m away, firing in full auto mode, but still hitting you right in the heart with three full-auto shots in a row. It's completely fucking stupid. They also track your head or heart very exactly behind solid objects, even though they shouldn't be able to see you there, and shoot exactly at where you're standing behind them, even though you've moved 15 m or so without being in their line of sight. 2. You sometimes empty two mags out of an AK or an M4 into an unarmored AI from close distance, but they don't die. Instead you get terminated with 10 full-auto headshots. Other times they just die behind some wall for no apparent reason. And that's not even speaking of the PvP issues (teamkilling, LZ camping). These are not "polishing" issues, these are things that show that the came went public long before it was even ready for early access (early acces used to mean WORKING basic mechanics, but unfinished in terms of content and fine-tuning, not "completely broken basic mechanics"). I find it absolutely frustrating to play a perfect tactical approach and then get domed in a completely unrealistic way. And I wonder: Don't devs learn from other devs? As in: There are games with really good AI that is hard to beat, especially when outnumbering you, because they move tactically, but are still realistic in their accuracy. AI that punishes you if you're careless or gets you with a lucky shot every now and then, but doesn't feel like a T-1000. How do games still get this completely wrong 20 years after the first decent AIs were coded?

@@Schimml0rd Only if you can't aim. Two or three shots to down an enemy. You can get 8-10 kills with a single 20rd mag. That's pretty damned efficient.
@@JonathanJONeill I think he means you'll spend more time reloading. It stands to reason I can get 15 kills with 2 shots per kill per 30rd mag meaning 30 kills with just 2 mags. Meaning only 1 reload for 30 kills. Vs the 10 kills per mag 2 reloads for 30 kills. You get 1 more mag for the same amount of space and same amount of kills(if you can aim) lol. Taking a smaller mag is essentially giving yourself more reloads to do the same amount of work. I.e. less combat efficient.
FYI you can still kill other players in pve mode including your own faction and worse than that (if possible) you can loot them found this out last night after accidentally friendly fire then lead to an all out battle
@@1400r that's called a bug my guy. You cannot intentionally team kill your friends or faction. The game can only get confused and accuse you of being at fault for their deat and as a result you get looting rights for being the one that the game thinks killed them.
For someone like me who is only interested in the PVE portion of the game. Im not a fan of having all my stuff wiped in 6 months or so. I can understand for PVP why they would wipe. But it seems pointless to put the time and effort into finishing tasks and leveling up vendors for better stuff, just to have it wiped away.
I was playing yesterday in a joint op(pve) and was kicked for team killing....where friendly fire isn't even on. I was at my factions base going through my inventory... and lost everything I was caring. I was pissed.
I think this is the first game that makes my graphic cards cry... I have tried tons settings, changing from low to epic, FSR or DLSS, every percentage of everything, my game looks like a blurry mess. My immediate field of view is clear. But past 5 meters, shit gets blurry, and guys wearing tones of brown and beige meld into the background. Notwithstanding the fact that the AI is a bullet sponge that feels no pain. An entire clip of Glock in the face, and the guy kept shooting (very badly) until he inevitabley downed me. If anyone knows how to fix that blurry mess, I'd appreciate the advice. Cyberpunk 2077 was doing the same thing, but I don't remember how I had fixed that back in the days.
Agreed, I've got a 3070, 11700k and I get 100fps in the spawn, but on 900p resolution and everything past 5m is blurry af then fps drops to 45 to 60ish in towns rip. I enjoy the gameloop and is fun when it works, but I'm gonna wait until it's more optimised
It's funny that you brought up the magazines and topping off... I've noticed in your vids you'll do a magazine check, see that there are only 8 rounds left in the mag then you'll reinsert it, lol. Aggravites me to see it but you're doing pretty well.
How do you have so smooth gameplay. Ive been playing for about 3 hours and my game is bsolutly disgusting i keep lagging and my game is unplayable. my fps is never higher than 40. I have a 3070 GPU and a 5 3700 CPU. It should be enough right?
I am running 6900xt and R7 3700X, but with custom watercooling. 1440P medium settings FSR quality Frame Generation on. Getting around ~95fps average in Base Camp Tiger Bay and Other NPC heavy City 70 and less
I tried this game and after a week of playing, I absolutely hate it for the simple fact that starting out is simply frustrating that you die and lose your M4. That part of the game simply is horrific to new players. I died 6 times and hardly had money to get a new rifle. I tried the missions but without a squad it's almost impossible because you'll get shot through a wall or one shot from the shirtless foe. Games looks awesome. Love how you can customize the kit, but the whole "death has consequences" makes the game not fun. Challenging but not fun.
They need to fix the horrible TAA implementation in this game, it makes the game so blurry grainy and pixelated spotting things after 20 meters is almost impossible even at native 4k and PvP is almost impossible as a result.
@@Schimml0rd it looks the same, i use dlss as well and on or off it looks almost the exact same, its not a settings or hardware issue its baked into the game, hope they fix this ASAP.

Yeah the PvP is literally only useful for the thrill. It gives you nothing. The time it takes to fly somewhere and kill and loot someone, the only thing worth taking is their optic you might not have access to yet, or if they have an MK18, or a 545 suppressor. That’s the hardest stuff to get (keys too but nobody runs those out). It’s an issue with extraction shooters and it’s worse in GZW than EFT because you can’t insurance fraud your stuff. PvP is literally just deleting so much gear since it doesn’t persist after the second death
0:47 that takes away a lot of fun from the game, exploring the locations or poi's - this is the straight way to speedrun the game while 95% of game will be unexplored and the very same player will whine on lack of content... it's ok when you are looking for something for ten minutes and can't find - some items are indeed hidden but 9/10 so fare can be found just by exploring and clearing the location from npc's - so that's very bad tip :)

20rd mags are more space efficient. Two of those take up the same space as a 30rd mag. So, an additional ten rounds in that same space.
They are also less combat efficient
Bearded zeus is right imo
I love GZW
Why does my phone vibrate when the tips come up.
Currently running this with my 1660ti Legion laptop with a turbo fan underneath. It’s amazing looting someone who has a $2000 dollar pc 😂
The acog you can put on the carry handle. no need for a mount
I prefer the scope attached without the handle , i find its more accurate and the bullets drop less from the crosshairs
FYI you can still kill other players in pve mode including your own faction and worse than that (if possible) you can loot them found this out last night after accidentally friendly fire then lead to an all out battle
No u can’t, I’ve had times where me and another dude mag dumps each other and no damage
You can only loot your own body in PvE, and you can’t hurt any other player. You might have been in PvPvE.
Got reported for faction team kill and mate looted both their bodies so nope it’s a thing you weren’t trying hard enough it appears
@@1400r that's called a bug my guy. You cannot intentionally team kill your friends or faction. The game can only get confused and accuse you of being at fault for their deat and as a result you get looting rights for being the one that the game thinks killed them.
What you experienced was a bug. You cannot do that in pve server
I have a question about keys. Are they one time use or can you use them more than once?
You can use more then once
unlimited
Thanks guys I appreciate the response
You will also unlock a key ring later in the game. You can hold four per key ring.
Did hotfix 3 mess anything up for you?
Finally some good fps
Not sure what I think of the whole wipe proses yet I’m gonna hate having to grind everything over again
Is that an Iron Mike on the shelf by the flag?
FOV is recommended by the devs at 55 if youre struggling for frames. Going from 60 to 55 gained me 10fps
I was playing yesterday in a joint op(pve) and was kicked for team killing....where friendly fire isn't even on. I was at my factions base going through my inventory... and lost everything I was caring. I was pissed.
I put an m-fak in each pocket and fill them up with my meds.
In PvE you can even revive other factions
Ammo is fairly cheap (not me shooting $1K+ worth of ammunition every time i go out)
So you just play for loot?
10:37 but do those item drop on the ground stay forever or will de-spawn after a long time?
It takes about 30 minutes for them to despawn
alt V for the win stone
Wait so which one is better to rank up fast pve or pvp
There is No difference in XP gains between those
It's funny that you brought up the magazines and topping off... I've noticed in your vids you'll do a magazine check, see that there are only 8 rounds left in the mag then you'll reinsert it, lol. Aggravites me to see it but you're doing pretty well.
If you use V to check the mag it is part of the animation that it gets reinserted…. You can’t top up the mag while that’s happening
@@lpburke86 Well Stone alot of times ain't loading another mag after the mag check, lol
Getting around ~95fps average in Base Camp Tiger Bay and Other NPC heavy City 70 and less
have you played Tarkov ?
If you get on a helicopter by mistake, how do you get off? I tried the F key and it didn't work.
Please remain seated until the ride comes to a complete stand still
I tried this game and after a week of playing, I absolutely hate it for the simple fact that starting out is simply frustrating that you die and lose your M4.
Joint operations and don't stand still without actual Cover.
what is the TAS ?
What setting should I use if I only have 30 fps
In my experience FSR set to medium with frame generation will get you the highest fps. But note the game will be blurry-ish
Although Tarkov has a hefty price tag I’d much rather get a game I can play 😊
What settings should I use with ryzen 7 and a 3080???
Epic, but make sure to use either dlss, fsr or xess with it. My friend gets 140fps with his 3070ti
These are tips to just not be a noob.
What’s grey zone
Watch the video
How can you be a veteran at a game that's just come out 😂
BRUH
Thank god I have a 4090 I run this at Epic graphics with like 280-300 fps
About tip factions is kinda of right....once you get at a higher level other factions will start hunting you...i am one if those people.
Come to lamang and get iced my bro we waiting
Lol what's your gamer tag il look out for you.
@@josesunj Orri88 :P
i dont get any rep for purchasing things from traders am i supposed to?
1k for 1 rep
so ghosts of tabor but no gear fear and no cash :)
Don’t just accept all your task rewards and overflow your locker, they don’t expire so take them as you need them
They need to fix the horrible TAA implementation in this game, it makes the game so blurry grainy and pixelated spotting things after 20 meters is almost impossible even at native 4k and PvP is almost impossible as a result.
That's why everybody uses dlss/fsr/xess ;)
@@Schimml0rd it looks the same, i use dlss as well and on or off it looks almost the exact same, its not a settings or hardware issue its baked into the game, hope they fix this ASAP.
Bruh this game glitched on me i was running solo got some loot then i shot at a npc’s head and I immediately got killed saying you killed yourself 🤦🏼♂️
They are wiping early access progress/gear? I paid them money to fix their game and gain nothing?
I havent bought this yet because all of the ai and areas look boring/the same
Yeah the PvP is literally only useful for the thrill. PvP is literally just deleting so much gear since it doesn’t persist after the second death
unfortunately the game is too hard to do solo mid to end game :(.
The armor rating system is as follows: 3 > 3A+ > 3A. It follows the real life NIJ armor system rating. 3A+ is NOT better than 3.
Glad I'm not the only one that pointed this out
3+ > 3 > 3A+ > 3A
2 < IIIA < III < III+ < IV
id prefer if these games just didn't wipe, like Hunt.
It would be good to show examples as you give out tips and not some random footage
Tip 1: buy 4090
Faction is bad thing in this game. You should be able to switch faction whenever you change server
I agree
0:47 that takes away a lot of fun from the game, exploring the locations or poi's - this is the straight way to speedrun the game while 95% of game will be unexplored and the very same player will whine on lack of content... it's ok when you are looking for something for ten minutes and can't find - some items are indeed hidden but 9/10 so fare can be found just by exploring and clearing the location from npc's - so that's very bad tip :)
in PVE you can run to players on different factions.
How in that actual shit is he running over 130fps
All TOP tier chest locations with and without keys for Tiger Bay

All the BS admin makes me miss The Cycle
Best tip for Gray Zone - Do not play it now. Wait 6 months.
I'm having a blast. Well worth my 35$
Not worth the price tag should be free not getting very far when only the top 1% can play it
Tip 1 Play Arena Breakout Its Better 😂😂
