Just saw it yesterday and it was FANTASTIC. It was already my favorite show from the last Broadway run and they somehow managed to make it even better. New jokes that fit the times but were so very Spamalot, and the cast was perfect. We laughed for 2 hours straight. I can't recommend it enough.
@@tostik7068The one song with the one line? No… they discussed it in rehearsals, and the joke is really about the incredible legacy that Jewish composers, lyricists, writers, artists have left us all- specifically on Broadway.
@@6363phoenix It was meant to be informative, not snarky, but it's a good observation: The Times reviewer remarked on the show's political incorrectness (NOT disparagingly!).
Didja know this is the second time jmi took over a Tim curry role? He voiced Taurus bulba in the Ducktales reboot, who was voiced by Tim curry in the original darkwing duck
Have they kept the original words to "You can't succeed in Broadway if you don't have any Jews!"? Because it was hysterical and New Yorker audiences loved it.
The original production was a million times better! Something just felt so off about a 70s British comedy group singing about tiktok and brittany spears. And during lancelots coming out song holding up peach and eggplant emojis. And the knights who.say ni singing a bon Jovi song. I can't stand it when shows put in obviously modern jokes. It just falls flat. The original production didn't need pop culture references, it was funny all on its own monty python humor. If it aint broke don't fix it.

😅😂 this premieres right after camelot closes
It would have been really funny if they were both running at the same time
What’s Camelot?

I saw the original cast and can't WAIT to see this revival. Along with Book of Mormon, funniest Broadway show I've ever seen.
Your gonna love it saw it opening preview it was absolutely hilarious

Did they change the song about Jews?

Just saw the show this afternoon - was a fantastic time and very funny! Thanks to the cast and crew for putting on such a good show!
Did they include all of the original songs?
@@6363phoenixyes
@@6363phoenix Of course they did - it's a revival, not a rewrite.
@@steveweinstein3222 Sigh...no need to be snarky. Wasn't sure if all the songs would be included given current cultural and political climate.

I love how this production looks
I did not know they were bringing this back. I hope a new national tour is in the works, as well. I would love to see this live.
Come to New York. We'd love to have you.
Me too, I want to see this at the Pantages
A national tour is expected to start touring in autumn 2025. A little while to wait, but it will happen. 🙂

We ❤️ "SPAMALOT"..!!🤴
Is that Ethan Slater as Sir Fred, the Not-Yet-Dead guy?
Unfortunately yes
I need a proshot for this show so badly
I heard the new line update “Company, bow” to “Thanks for the fun”
I noticed that too, I wonder why they changed it
@@slycooper459probably because they've added choreographed dance at the end and got rid of the bow because of that.

I think so, I saw a bootleg of the Kennedy center version of this production and it seemed to be the same
AAAwwwwwwwwWWWwwwWWW where are the Knights who say, "NI!"???
Still in the show? They don't want to give away everything.
WORKKKKK!!
