Awesome commercial with the kids! Scott - the wife and I put a metal roof on our house when we built it in 1988 and had to yell at each other during a rain storm while we were framing. Once done, insulated and sheet rocked - I just love the sound of rain hitting that metal roof. I will tell you there is no mistake when we get a hail storm. Sounds like a bunch of people on the roof with hammers! Love that metal roof. Nick that was some of the most impressive drone footage, it really gave us a sense for just how much rolling terrain you farm.
Every time I see a video from Welker Farms I say a prayer of thanks to God for farmers like you. I also pray you have a safe growing season with bountiful harvests. Your faith is a stellar example for all to follow. Thank you.
As a farmer, grand daughter and daughter of farmers, it always amazes me that the nearer we get to the dirt, the closer we get to God. Those sunsets are special blessings, thanks for sharing.
Big Bud is a tractor the kids like. Imagine sleeping on the dash. Now that's a dash that shows the size of Big Bud. It reminded me of taking canola to the elevator in Saskatoon. My youngest daughter fall asleep on the cab over International diesel engine cover. She was about two years old. It was a warm place on a warm day. Canola was a cash crop in 1978 or so. Farmers grew what they could sell. Thank you for showing us how you fastened that new gas engine to the loader. You keep amazing us with your mechanical skills. We are praying for rain. We were out running some errands and in Calgary we are getting some rain in some areas. It is spotty. Some get a cloud burst and some areas get none. Keep enjoying all the kids. Remember that they grow up faster than we realize.
I wonder if Bob Welker could sit back with a cup of coffee during some sunrise planting morning and proclaim: "Well the 2023 planting is all rolled up!!" Hope y'all keeping a close eye on those youngsters because they grow up much to fast!! -Bob...
Always amazed at how good you all are at fabrication and repairing things. Resilient to jut about every adversity. Inspiring. The found bowling ball - you gotta fire that cannon!
Australian farmers love a metal roof. We’re the same as you guys with little rain. Great feeling living in bed listening to the rain on the roof and knowing the crops are loving it.
That drone shot of the roller with the farm behind it was cool, made the roller look almost as wide as the building's with distance in between. I pray for all farmer's that they get what they need for where they're at, and none of the bad stuff that wrecks the crops. G-d bless.
I have been with you guys since you had about 100k subs. While redoing the big buds. I have never in my life cared about farming or considered it something that could bring content, and i respectfully still say that. With out you guys and your family's, this channel is nothing. Respect is earned. I respect the fact that no matter the crap that is thrown your ways, like buds breaking you guys always find a way to be positive and fix the situation. Lots of people could learn more then simply farming. Keep it up. You guys are worth more then the channel!
Use one of the four bolt holes in the engine case on the bolt circle around the pulley as a mounting point, and with 3/16 drill rod bend up an L shape with an eyelet at the end for a bolt to go thru, you can then bolt it to engine near the pulley and rotate it in just so that it keeps the belts loosely on the pulley when disengaged. Less frustration..... keep up the good work!
Duluth trading pants are the best I have ever worn. I love the Firehose stretch, Dry on the Fly for hot days. The hard working Welker family need tough workwear.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. The drone footage in this video was awesome. With the farm background and the music and the equipment this drone footage was just wonderful. Thanks so much Welkers. Looks like you got some light rain, not enough to help but enough to stop the seeding. Sorry. Sending prayers your way for some good rains and moisture to help the crops. You all have my blessings. Nice work on the fertilizer auger Nick. Nice new motor to run the auger. You did a great job of installing the new motor and getting the auger going again. Busy time for you all with trying to get seeds in the ground and running the sprayer over the acres. Hope your equipment holds together. How nice of the kids to bring all of you gifts for Fathers Day!!!!! They so enjoyed that. Wonderful family time. About it for now. All of you have a great Father’s Day. My blessings and compliments to Bob and Nick and Scott. All fine fine Fathers. You all take care and be safe. Thanks for everything Welkers. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
This May one of my favorite videos y’all have released just because of the intro alone. God bless the Welker family for being such amazing human beings. Our farmers are amazing
GREAT flick!! I really enjoy the drone footage. Loved the one where you ran over the camera!! THAT was good!! I knew you'd planned it and it still looked great!! Not sure how I feel about the kids in the tractor cabs. Keep that up and they might think it is all fun in there. The might even grow up wanting to "play" in there like their parents!! MY first tractor ride was hanging for Deere life cause the ole Johnny Popper didn't even have fenders on it!! (give you and idea how old I am??) But I loved that ride. Still cherish it in my memory. GREAT family. I truly love to see that. Thanks for being YOU.. And thanks for sharing it with me. Blessings to you ALL!!
