As a ag technician,I can't imagine all the time and headaches the set up on that Brute would have been. I hope it keeps working great for you guys. Truly astonishing
@@karljacobson1575so is chemicals. If I was fallowing as many acres as they do? I’d buy it in a heart beat because it will pay for its self. I burn down every spring and I’m looking at getting a pull behind like this.
@@karljacobson1575 It might be "stupidly expensive" as a system of systems, but when you consider how much Welker Farms spends on weed control chemicals, anything that allows them to operate more efficiently regarding treatment application should be applauded, not denigrated. Welker Farms is a business, so the better they utilize their resources, the better their profit margin, which in turn allows them to spend more on their operation in order to gain even greater efficiency and profitability. Plus, it's really cool that the system plays the Imperial March during Big Brute's calibration... Tell me I'm wrong... 😆
Nice system! Bets the hell out of the old 30’ boom we had as a kid on the farm. Everything got chemical, dirt between rows, weeds, crop, such a waste of chemicals!
I pray all the "organic" " green" weenies pay attention to the HUGE investment farmers and the manufacturers they depend on to make our make food production efficient, environmentally friendly and safe. Chem Fallow is a critical component of modern farming that keeps viable land ready for planting when conditions align. At a mere fraction of your acreage spot spraying yields huge results with a huge reduction in product. Well done, and glad to see a century plus old farm staying current!
The biggest flex is playing the Star Wars theme song 😂 like identifying weeds while driving and killing weeds is not flexing already 😂 Biggest Flex ever..!!!!
It looks like to be a farmer today you have got to be a mechanic welder and engeneer to do you job. Can dad keep up with you fellows? what about the next generation.? I love to watch your shows. Great. Keep it up.
Big Brute is just getting better and better... And who cares what it looks like. If it works, and it's practical, I say run it. If it breaks down the road, the brackets, then maybe change it, if you guys feel like it. Just because someone doesn't like the look of it, doesn't mean jack. Practial over looks all day. And Thanks for the videos. I try to watch them all when I can. Keep up the good, hard work.
Those booms really are a thing of beauty. They complement the stainless tank well too. Looks like Brute should give you guys a significant cost savings and efficiency improvement now.
I’ve had an aluminum boom sprayer, I’ve had steel and now carbon fiber. Out of all of the them? The aluminum didn’t last long at all. Started cracking the first season. I’ve had two of the 120ft carbon fiber booms and I absolutely love them. Had zero problems. I hope the aluminum lasts for you.
Nick. You should be very proud of your accomplishments. Incredible engineering you did and the Big Brute doesn’t need to be beautiful . It’s practical. That’s what matters!
That boom support rack does look beautiful, just like it(they) came with the machine and now you can mag-mount a camera for those special view shots. With Aloha...
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Wow and wow. What a wonderful spray system you have now. My compliments to all of you for your hard work on the booms and spray systems you installed. Beautiful system Nick. Big brute is enjoying all this new spraying equipment. Technology for this is amazing. Wow. Many thanks Nick for showing us the upgrades to big brute and the raven spray systems. Will be great to see it in action. Amazing how it can spray a weed when it sees it. Thanks again nick for your time. I understand the drought is really causing problems again. I believe this is your third year in a row of not enough moisture. I feel bad for you folks. This has got to turn around. I am sending sincere prayers and blessings to the Welker family for RAIN!!!!!!!! May god grant you the moisture for your crops!!!!!! You all take care and be safe. Thanks for showing us your new sprayer system. Thanks for everything Welkers!!!!!! The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve. Rain and rain and rain please !!!!!!!!
😏 A I has hit the farm field in a BIG WAY!!!! So intriguing to see what farming has become. It is truly a futuristic world you are developing with the help of those tech boys and a WHOLE LOT of COMMON SENSE from the OLD DAYS. GREAT VIDEO - THANKS FOR SHARING .... GOD BLESS 😍😍😍😍😍 🙏
Pretty fancy spray system and you guys fabricated it to fit onto your Bud. Most people don’t realize how much technology is used on tractors and the other implements to farm. They just think of Farmers and Ranchers as dummies. 😂 Well there is no way they could do the job. Oh their is math involved too!
It is amazing to see how much technology has influenced production farming with efficiency gains based on the targeted use of herbicides. I just love learning something new like this! Thanks Nick!! 😁
Old iron + homegrown ingenuity + cutting edge tech = Art...albeit highly functional, efficiency improving and money saving art. So well done! 👍
Highest technology at Welker Farms. Staying on top and improvements of cutting high expenses despite few years of drought and crop disaster.
Awesome machine!!
Nick the Big Brute looks awesome with new booms
Star Wars theme, LOL! That's so cool
I’m blown away with the tune function. 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
As a ag technician,I can't imagine all the time and headaches the set up on that Brute would have been. I hope it keeps working great for you guys. Truly astonishing
I know nothing about farming but I know cool. That’s cool. Love your videos. Respect the hard work.
Great video Nick
That thing is soooo cool!
Dock bumpers from NAPA for cradle pads. 5:12
Big Brute is the most advanced homemade sprayer, I remember when Brute was first built 5 years ago
And Big Brute was awesome back then. It just keeps getting better and better.
Practicable makes sense. Quote. 😊. Happy subscriber 😊!
👍 👊 👌
That is absolutely amazing that those sensors can see a weed at driving speed and spray the weed that fast technology is absolutely amazing
And stupidly expensive....

@@karljacobson1575 In his live stream he said it was around $200,000 for just the booms and weed it system... not including the sprayer.
@@karljacobson1575 Why do you care?

very nice Nick
I hope this sprayer don't attract Aliens..............................

The technology is mind bottling. You guys are amazing to research and them assemble this sprayer instead of buying a new one.
Star Wars!! Lol!! That's nuts!! Gotta love the tech stuff!!
Great job putting that together Nick and leg arms

That’s cool! Can’t wait to see some more

Very cool. Big money saver
“Practical makes sense!” True wisdom!
Love the star wars theme song on the test for the sprayers lol made my day
That. My friend, is a work of Art!
Prayers for your success.
Great looking tech. Hope it gives you the efficiency you want / need with your chem-fallow and weed control on the crops.
The biggest flex is playing the Star Wars theme song 😂 like identifying weeds while driving and killing weeds is not flexing already 😂
