    I had a funny thing happen to me in DoorDash:
    A DoorDash driver dropped off an AppleBees order to our house, they didn’t knock, or ring the doorbell, they didn’t say anything either, but here’s the thing, WE DIDN’T ORDER IT, so when my family found the bags by the front door, we were confused, we called Applebees and they said, “Due to our policy, we cannot redeliver delivered food,” so that night we got $107 WORTH OF APPLEBEES FOOD FOR FREE. 😅

Well, I had just lost my job and had two little kids to feed. By the time they fixed the glitch, I owed them $900 with interest and late fees. But it was worth it. I told them if they would cash my $2,300 tax return check they could keep $900 of it.

      Why does it matter, everything had a cost when you added it to the cart and you received the goods. Billing errors happen and if you read your tos you would see that they are well within their rights to collect for services provided. If it was on purpose good on them for knowing you guys are all scumbags and teaching you a lesson... Funny thing is if you only did one order they let you get it for free out of good faith, only the assholes got fucked

    I remember my coworkers and I received hundreds/thousands of calls for days because they did the free doordash order glitch. Most claimed that they didn't have doordash at all and we transferred the calls to the claims department to file claims. Those were a few fun days seeing anywhere between 3 to 23 charges from doordash for a glitch.

    • @TrueFlameslinger

      They had every right to, and multiple companies that have had such glitches do get their money. They probably figured it was cheaper to write it all off and get tax deductions for it.
      Unlike McDonald's which already has the stock paid for, Doordash essentially takes your order and buys it on your behalf

    • @dillongage
      @dillongage Рік тому +1

      @@TrueFlameslinger yeah, McDonalds isnt losing as much money to that problem. Even $100 order is probably only half of that cost to the store. TVs and stuff from doordash are basically the same price if you get it yourself, its just delivered.
