Cheryl, you don’t owe anybody an explanation about your hair, but I appreciate your forthrightness and honesty. Gray, blonde or purple, it’s your hair, and what you give to this community is invaluable. I am 63, and have worked out with you for a year and a half. Since that time, my DEXA score has improved and my strength and endurance has gotten better and better. Thank you for everything!
I agree. I love the 3 and prefer 3 days a week. I do what I can. I do 12-15 reps . You are sharing with us not being a personal trainer. You are not the only one being copied. It’s so crazy. Keep doing what you doing @cheryl. Cheryl, You motivate me because we are in the same age bracket. There are all these social media critics you do not have to explain yourself. They either want to be part of the community or not. You are entitled to change your head. It’s sad folks are not able to think for themselves.
I wish you didn’t feel the need to address the haters. You look great with either hair, and it’s nobody’s business. Your workouts are the best I’ve found in over 10 years of doing random UA-cam workouts. It’s the first time I’ve consistently done a program for over a year, and actually look forward to working out. I hope you never stop. Thank you so much for this gift. ❤
"My program, is a program" means I'm not offering a workout calendar but rather a science based weekly workout plan that guarantees you receive the right amount of stimulus to force the body to adapt and change. This is why LIFT WITH CEE is different! I’m not uploading a dumbbell session, I’m sharing my MUSCLE & STRENGTH TRAINING WORKOUT PROGRAM. All you need to do is pick a CHALLENGING dumbbell weight, press play and follow along! You’ll notice I get tongue tied and trip over my words occasionally… I’m always chasing progress, never perfection. ❤💪🏻
Dear Cee, Thank you for taking the time. You are my inspiration - love the look either grey or blond! No judgment from me - only much GRATITUDE AND LOVE SENT YOUR WAY💜💜💜
I am grateful for you and all your hard work you put into making these videos! Blond or brunette or whatever color your hair is that doesn’t matter to me!
Your grey hair is what grabbed me because your body looks like it’s under 30. This is what a middle aged woman wants to aspire to! You do you, you can’t please the world and you have a lot of fans, Cheryl! Thanks for your great videos!
The idea that your workouts might be “old person workouts” is hilarious to me, because your workouts are insane and I have never been stronger or leaner. Thank you for everything you do, I’m loving the simplicity and consistency of your approach.
I love your natural hair!! I'm 38 and I purposely follow women that are in their 50s and 60s as an inspiration because that's how I would like to look and train when I'm in my 50s and 60s. ❤
I feel ya. I'm 47 and finding online workouts without a bunch of jumping and hopping around is difficult. Them younger chicks with good knees can keep that Shyt LMAO!
Re: the hair. I'm one of the women who has platinum/silver hair and LOVED that I FINALLY found a woman around my age, who did *not* color her hair, and who is also fit and strong! It totally inspired me to do your workouts. Whichever color hair you have, I'll still workout with you and stay subscribed. I think you should have whatever hair you want and it's fun to change up hair color. No judgement on you at all. At the very same time -- I do think it's sad that still, in 2024, we, as a society, are judging women's fitness by their hair color -- e.g. if you have platinum hair, you must be weak and frail. I ran my first full marathon at age 50. I'm 60 now and lift weights. I was at Costco getting huge 30/40 pound bags of bird seed and cat food a few weeks ago and the person at the door asked if I wanted help with those bags. NOPE. I can lift them pretty easily because I lift weights! Anyway - thanks for your videos, Cee! I really appreciate you!
and let us remember that our health span is more of what isn't seen. Do you feel good? Are you strong(er) than before? Eat healthy? Try supplementation for general health purposes, as your research suggests is needed. Women supporting women is the best way to break these "presumptions" and largely ignorant ways of thinking.
On top of that, if "people under 35" or whatever age see grey hair with an ageist pov, THEY are the ones who should change and get used to it. And if they don't, sad for them, as they will probably struggle when facing their own silver hair and age. If the wig thing was just for fun and for Cee's own satisfaction, more than fine. But otherwise, I wouldn't change to fit certain capitalism requirements.
I honestly don’t know what I would do without you Cee. I only follow your UA-cam page. You’re making such a difference in my life. I’ve been super consistent because you make it so easy. My only hiccup is moving to higher weights because I’m so afraid of hurting myself. (Perimenopausal and experiencing inflammation in certain areas). And wear your hair however you damn well please. Work out in you PJ’s, I will still show up! Just please don’t stop making videos please!!!! Love you!!!!!
This comment is brilliant and I agree with every word. Cheryl you are awesome and I love the workouts, I do need to up my weights though, no pain no gain 😊
In all honesty, I did not notice the gray hair. I was drawn to your strong physique, which is a testament to the effectiveness of your training regimen. I understand that everyone has their own perspective, and I appreciate your taking the time to clarify. Thank you for your dedication to helping women like me, and for doing so without charge.
Oh, for crying out loud do we ever grow up?🤦♀️ here you are providing solid, help and information for FREE! And people care about your hair color? You are not old! You are beautiful regardless of your hair! Thank you for being so upfront, straightforward, and on point! This is YOUR channel and if people don’t like what they see they can move on. That said, I did comment on somebody I watch regularly when I have noticed that he is bleeding into derogatory shaming humor. He can either take that as helpful commentary or tell me to go elsewhere. in your case when someone is commenting on your appearance, I would tell them to “take a hike”.❤
I'm 37 and it is a shame younger people are judging based on your hair alone. Your workout program has been, BY FAR, the most effective for me and I've been the most consistent since starting, so thank you! You look fantastic however you wear your hair!
Yeah, I’m the kind of person that doesn’t care about that stuff. If the workout is good, I don’t care how old they are or what they look like. I follow older and younger instructors. Love them all!
Hi Cee, I’m 53. I have followed you for almost a year, and never thought anything about the workouts based on your hair, other than, l can do this, it is possible! Hearing about the feedback you get is fascinating and I totally appreciate that you’re willing to share so transparently. I hope the vast majority of feedback is positive because you are helping so many of us to be strong at a time in our lives when it’s more important than ever! I wish I had the awareness in my 20s and 30s that I do now in my 50s. But we start where we are and honestly I have never felt stronger. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤❤❤
How, true. Menopause is already set up to happen in U.S. women between the ages of 35- 45 (depending on the individual). Fortunately, I have taken health supplementation since my mid-50s (longevity science and knowledge have really increased) and have energy levels similar to what I remember having in my 30s. However, disease prevention should start when we are younger, too. I write about this and other topics.
Thank you for sharing this! My first thought, when I saw your gray hair, was “She looks great and I want to look like that when I’m older. So I’ll try her workouts.” I’m 37 and so glad I found your channel. Thank you for all you do!
Dear Cee. I'm a man and I started almost half a year ago with your work-out (at least 3 times a week). Saw your Videos here in grey hair and was just fascinated to find such a fit Lady in almost the same age. To be honest I was not looking for Fitness-Videos with young personal trainers. So I was lucky to find You here. I hardly can imagine to find a better work-out training. I feel just fine with your exercises and I wonder how someone can start argumenting about your hair and I have a hard time to understand this discussions or critizism towards You. Please continue with these trainings. I feel so motivated and happy to train with "my" favourite personal trainer (YOU). Kind regards to you from Switzerland
My husband and I do your workouts 3 times a week together. He has always been an avid lifter and he loves your workouts. We always high five each other when we’re done because your workouts are no joke. Keep doing what you’re doing and we don’t care what color your hair is lol.
@@TanyaMBowers It really is a blessing. He enjoys Cee’s workouts but getting him to do Pilates with me on the alternate days is not easy lol. We motivate each other so it’s great.
Watching my body change negatively in my peri-menopausal years had me feeling defeated. Finding your channel has given me a renewed sense of determination and empowerment. I have lifted much heavier than ever before! I am feeling super strong and hopeful that my best physical years are ahead of me. Thank you for that Cee!
I love your gray hair, and it is really sad how divisive people have become because of it. I am actually a 34 year-old woman who loves your workouts. I like the simplicity of your videos. They help me to feel more at peace with my body, healthy and strong. Tbh, when I noticed your gray and that you also lift, I thought it was very empoweing. I actually love seeing older women workout because in our society, so many people think you have to mentally and physically slow down at a certain age, and you don't have to! God bless you Cheryl.
Cee, I’m 25 years old and found your channel just a few months ago and you have quite literally changed my life. My partner and I experienced pregnancy loss back in December 2023. Between big life transitions, grief from child loss, and living with (I hate saying suffering) depression and anxiety - I had zero desire to workout and find movement again. You keep doing YOU. Your workouts have helped me not only find consistency, but enjoy movement again, which has helped me to feel a little more at home in a body that has felt so unfamiliar to me in this last year. You are doing amazing things for such a diverse group of women! ❤️ Much love from Tennessee, US!
I believe the only reason people will criticize is because they’re not happy with themselves. I appreciate you and love that you offer this content for free. You’re beautiful in and out. Blessings to you. 💝🙏🏻
I have been fitness training for over 30 years. I am a 74 year old male. I try to find workouts that are focused, varied and organized. The Lift with Cee videos are all of those things. Since you can choose the amount of time you want to work and are not limited to a certain amount of weight to lift the age of the participants is irrelevant. I add about 50 miles a week of spinning cardio to my regiment. As a girl granddad I can say my habits are starting to have a positive effect on the kids without preaching to them. I recommend this channel to people of all ages because of the variety. After watching this video I think Cee should be celebrated for helping everyone get healthy.
I admit that your grey hair did attract me to your workouts because I aspire to be a silver vixen. But your physical strength really called my attention to your workouts. I've lost weight and feel so much better and stronger. I'm so thankful for your videos.
Wow! I’m a hairstylist and would not have thought that was a wig, I thought extensions. Your girl has got talent! And you look great, thank you for your work outs, I’m still all in and surprising my self with the consistency
Thank you so much Cheryl for sharing your story. Your hair is absolutely stunning and beautiful. I have been a big fan of you and your workouts For the last year or so. I never really cared whether your hair was gray red or green. It doesn’t matter. I’m a 52-year-old woman also with gray hair but I do color mine. We’re here to be healthy and fit not to be worried about what you look like during a work out but I admire you coming on here and telling us your story. Thank you ❤
I can't remember now how I found you here on UA-cam. But I turned 40 this year, and at the time I was dealing with a major case of burnout and months of sickness. I had a lot of time to sit and think of my approach to fitness and I realized it was time to shift from following hyper energetic twentysomething fitness instructors to looking for advice from middle aged women like me. I can no longer work out five days a week...it tanks my health. Your approach is exactly what I needed - half hour sessions, three days a week. When I found your channel I was so excited to see that, yes, it is possible to build muscle and be strong and sexy even in these middle years of life with all their changes. Your workouts brought me back to life from all that burnout and sickness...they helped me restore my energy and get back into good exercise habits again. So thank you with all my heart for showing up here and being awesome. As for your hair, no matter how you wear it, you always look beautiful. People complain about the dumbest crap.
I workout with you every other day… I’m 62 and had a softball size malignant tumor removed from my stomach a year ago. You work outs have made me strong again. I thank you for them and I have no complaints.
I love all of your routines, very efficient and easy to follow. At almost 62 years old I’m in my best shape ever with your program, really works, has done wonders for me. 10:14
I totally love your hair! I really don’t care what color is your hair or what it looks like. I CARE about the solid and thorough content of your channel. It has improved my body shape, feel amazing and I have gained more strength and muscle mass. Still not where l want to be yet but l am definitely enjoying the journey and reaping benefits thanks to your coaching and support.
"I got out of my own way" is a gem! Especially for women ❤ Updating my comment to add what I've been thinking since watching this video: If we were watching a video of a very fit guy with grey hair who was teaching us his workout, MOST people would NOT think, "Oh, that's an old guy - he doesn't know anything/his workout is not for me." Nooo...in our society, most people would think, "Hey! That guy is really fit AND he's older - he must know what he's doing!" But when it's a woman with grey hair, the polar opposite occurs. This isn't by accident - we live in a society that devalues women in general and doubly devalues women as they age :o/ Additionally, if a man were to begin lifting weights in order to get in shape, MOST people would NOT call him a vain old man. They would be inspired! I've got my eyes peeled for women who are taking charge of their lives as they age, and I'm so happy that Cee is out here doin' her thing and sharing with all of us! And for FREE, for goodness' sake! I consider taking care of myself as I age to be a *responsibility* and I'm thankful that my body lets me keep going. I don't want to fall and break a hip, ffs! Being fit engenders greater self-confidence, and imho all women can use more of that ;o)
Why do people think they can say whatever they want. Say nice things or don’t say anything at all!!! You do you. We love your workouts and your generosity!!!
Why that hair? WHY NOT! You channel, your hair... I'm sure many of us love it all, and anyone who doesn't can go elsewhere or start their own channel! I loce the workouts! Consistency and progress 💪
Girl, wig or not grey hair or dye, I am not here for that I am here for your workouts! I love your honesty and down to earth approach. I feel like I am working out with a friend that has my best interest at heart! Once again congratulations on growing your channel and your hair/ wig is stunning!
I'm 66 and I have long hair like you. I LOVE IT. You are beautiful with long hair, short hair, or no hair. You have me and my husband exercising and living a better life. You inspire both us and to everyone that follows you. YOU ROCK.
I don’t understand why you are trying to be a certain way for different people. You don’t owe us anything. Love you just the way you are. If you are here to help us with our fitness goals then who cares. People are always going to be unhappy and critical. I love your workouts and they have helped me out so much. Keep being you and that’s it. Thank you ❤
Im 60 years old and have done every fitness program there is since my 30's. I have never seen changes or have been consistent until i found your channel. Im finally started to look and feel like the best me. Thank you Cee! Keep being you❤
Your hair looks beautiful! You're a kind, gorgeous woman who gives us programs for FREE! I'm grateful that you take the time out of your day to do this for women. You don't need to explain, but I understand the frustration you must feel getting those comments over and over. I'm 49, just starting to go grey and I certainly didn't follow you just because you had grey hair! I followed you because you offer workouts for women who are struggling through hormonal and body changes that a 20 something isn't even aware of yet. What worked for me when I was in my 30's no longer works for me. Thank you for everything you do!
I turned my 37 year old daughter on to your channel. She is a working mother of two young children and is grateful for your workouts. She never even mentioned the gray hair or the blond hair. Personally I love your various formats and have been consistent with you for a year and a half. Thank you for your work. You are really making a difference
I can’t believe people are concerned about hair 🙄 I’m 39, and I LOVE your approach to fitness and your workouts. I am VERY appreciative of your *free* content! Thank you!
I love you Cee💕 Almost 3 yrs for me 💪🏼 🎉‼️So thankful for your generosity of gifting us these fantastic workouts - you’re such a great inspiration & the long BLONDE is perfection on you 🥰🥳‼️
I wish I would have found you sooner, Cheryl, and if I had known in my 30's what I know now about weight training, I would have started then! In my search for a program, yours was the one that I kept returning to, and the only one I've been following since the beginning of 2024. And I have seen a dramatic change in my body composition. I love your workouts because they're simple and effective and I would gladly pay for your program! Thank you for helping me transform my body and find joy in weightlifting! And thank you for trying alternative hair as I've been following Eryn for over a year and your experience is tempting me to have to get a few pieces. THANK YOU for these life changing videos! I love working out with you!
Love this!!! I did not get caught up in the hair bc I love the workout format and simplicity. As an older woman I did think “yea! Workouts created by and for someone like me!” I love your transparency and your mission to support everyone on their journey!!!
You are so greatly appreciated Cee and you look absolutely amazing! I am a 44 single mama of 3, I LOVE your workouts. You are the first online trainer that I can easily follow at home with weights and be consistent. Being in my 40’s has brought many unwanted physical changes and I have seen my body change so much doing your workouts. Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time to share such amazing workouts ❤
I’ve been doing your workouts for about a year. I’m down 12 pounds. I felt awful and depressed. Menopause got me good; I put on almost 25 pounds over a 3 year period. I know that may not sound like much to most, but I’m petite and have never had weight issues. I feel soooo much better now and I plan to keep going. Strength training has been a life saver and I appreciate that you are trying to sell me a program or products. Thank you, thank you, thank you!❤
Hey Cee, thank you for your transparency. I am 69 and I discovered your channel in March and have consistently workout with you each week. it’s sad that people are so judgmental. You are doing a great thing and your workouts are quality and they work. I have seen such a change in my body since I started , I love the fact that such quality of exercises are packed in a 30 minute workout. Thank you for so graciously sharing a strength training program that actually works.
These workouts are fantastic. I've been doing them for nearly a year now and have improved my strength and fitness to a level that I previously thought was only achievable in a gym setting. I've always been someone who exercises whether it be walking, cycling, swimming and belonging to a gym. Despite this, when I first started doing these workouts, my heart rate was up there - these are NOT "old person workouts" by any measure (and I'm not yet an "old" person!) - I don't mind admitting I that for the first few weeks, I had to keep stopping and waiting before I could move on. However, I quickly got to the point where I started getting results both in muscle and overall fitness levels. I was no longer winded walking up hills - it became easy! I thoroughly recommend these programs and I am personally extremely grateful for the time Cheryl takes to create and share them.
I am in the best shape of my life thanks to you. Consistency entered my life because you encouraged me to show up. Somehow I feel like every workout has been put together JUST FOR ME. Thank you. ❤ to all the strong women in my life who ask how I have gotten strong - Cee is my coach. 😊
Thank you for this video. I’m 67 years old and love your workouts. I was a trainer for many years and have always exercised regularly but your workouts pushed me into heavier lifting to build and maintain muscle. So thankful I found your channel
Love your content. I’m 40 and the reason I started on your programs is because I’m done with the over complicated workouts. I’ve done them all and felt awful and exhausted. Your content keeps me going and I feel energized and fit when I do them. Also, I have a 14 year old daughter who is also getting into lifting, and I have her doing your workouts too. I understand about the hair, you’re lovely either way. I think us older ladies should share your content with the younger demographic and explain these workouts are true and tried time tested workouts that actually WORK. No need for the over complicated, fast paced RAH RAH RAH! type of workouts, unless that’s what someone ones lol. Also, I’ve caused my fair share of bodily injury from ridiculous workouts, and I’m glad my teen is doing your workouts to prevent injury and learn proper lifting.
I follow your workouts 4 to 5 times a week and love the improvements. I am 70. As I start to get comfortable with the weight I increase it a little. I was an avid exerciser up until I hit about 60. It just always makes feel good afterwards. My husband took very sick and his and my life changed. I came across you one day and was impressed and grateful. Wanted to exercise again to depression some and remembered how it made me feel. So I thank you for your professionalism and grace to share with us. As for the wig. It's beautiful on you and if you like it...who cares. I bought a wig about 5 months ago but still haven't had the courage to go out in it. Shame on me. I will though soon. The beauty of your character shines through and whatever else you do is accenting it. Best Wishes. 😊
OMG Cee…..thank you for your honesty. I found your channel thru another You Tuber and have followed you and your videos since. I was drawn to your grey hair workouts because I am older than you but your changing hair has not affected my workout habits. I support you because your workouts are great and I appreciate your honesty.
I’m 45 and your videos are the only workout’s I have been able to stick with. I feel so much stronger and have lost almost 20 lbs (which is hard in my current hormonal state). I do 3x30 minute workouts a week- it’s a very do-able commitment. Thank you, Cee!!!
Aren't people funny. The things that they look at in order to make a decision. The wig kind of threw me, but your workouts are always challenging. I appreciate the additional information you provide regarding your workouts and the way to use them. Thank you for all of your hard work!
I don’t think your gray hair will change who you are one of the best weight trainers I have seen on UA-cam I love the way you are with your gray hair or with your new style blond The important thing is that you are happy with your new look! Thank you for your great vibe and help the community with your TOP weight training program ❤
Your workouts are really challenging, when I do a workout from other channel I feel I’m wasting my time, then I return to your channel over and over again. I don’t care the color of your hair, you are beautiful and over all your are a really good professional trainer. Gracias 🔥💪🏼🔥
I so appreciate you sharing your workouts with us. You have become my favorite workout partner. Your hair looks great naturally and I also love the wig!
Well hello from Ontario. I am 71 years old and have been doing your workouts for some time. I’ve looked for online weight workouts but your is the best for what I’m looking for. I like to work out at home. Of course I don’t use the same weight as you do but I can finish the workout. But I really like your new 30 minute workouts with no talking and just music without lyrics. It goes so fast and then I’m into the cooldown. You look amazing so who cares what colour your hair is if you are happy with it. I like my hair blond so I invest in a hair appointment every couple of months. The wig is quite glamorous so enjoy it if it doesn’t make your head overheat. The best part of your workout is your beautiful smile. 💖
🎉Hi Cee, I would like to say I love all of your hair. However, primarily I want to say I love your workouts. Admittedly, your gray hair grabbed my attention and I felt a connection with you because you're on youtube doing what I enjoy strigenth training by lifting weights at home with gray hair and bare feet...at that time me in my home gym dumb bells, yoga mat and bare feet...I felt we were the same. You inspired me. Your content is beautiful with which ever hair you wear, but please, please please keep the bare feet. Your workouts made me feel seen and were and remain to be just what I need/ed. I'm so greatful your content came accross my feed. Thank you for being so awesome, keep it up! 💪🏽👏🏾🦵🏽👏🏾😊
As a long time weight lifting woman (not weight lifter. Lol) I’ve loved your videos. Your technique and delivery is exciting. As for your hair. I LOVE that blonde wig on you. It doesn’t look like a wig and makes you appear many years younger. Keep being you. ❤💪
Im a post menopausal 59yo woman and after listening to experts in menopause and women’s health, (inc: Dr. Stacey Sim, Dr Lyon, Dr Haver)’ I’ve discovered that there is no such thing as seniors workout, lifting is lifting and its one of the most important/essential thing any older person can do to maintain health. The only difference and this is regardless of age is to start light to ensure form and build to heavy still maintaining good form. I love your videos it gives me a good foundation. Im doing the early 30mn workouts to my own weights and reps. Same workout 3x week for 3-4 weeks then move to a different workout. Thanks so much ❤
I think this hair looks really good on you but I didn't think the gray was bad either. In the end - it's your hair/appearance - do what makes you feel good! As for your workouts - they are not "old lady" workouts - they are real life workouts. Not many have the ability (physical or time) to spend hours a day exercising. Your program is one that becomes a lifestyle.....for life......for great living and enjoying life! Thank you for your openness and for the great workouts!!
I appreciate your straight talking and transparency....people are people and are often far too 'peoply' for my liking🤣😂. Be magnificent you m'dear. Thanks for helping me so much with your no nonsense work outs. Much love to all. ❤
I like this format and appreciate your transparency. Your workouts are straightforward and effective and i appreciate that you offer the warm up as a separate video. Unfortunately right now I have a shoulder injury and am unable to strength train my upper body and can only do body weight for the lower body. I am worried about losing the muscle mass that I had, but I have to wait until it is safe again for me to rejoin you in the workouts. As for your hair and your clothes, you look great with all of your looks and that is your choice . I don't take people's hair color personally. i recall a comment on a video in which you were wearing a brown wig where someone complained that brown was boring. We don't need to have the same hair color to do the same workout and we don't need to criticize others in order to make ourselves feel better. Thank you for all you do!
I loved your real hair….it wasn’t fake. It’s just a shame that you feel the need to have to change yourself for a judgmental group of people. You can’t please everyone and why would you want to…..but you do you and you do whatever makes you happy. 🥰 your workouts are still amazing and that’s all that matters.
Hi Cheryl, I am a 41 year old woman who began lifting 5 years ago for the first time. I fell in love with it and am at a place where I want to workout mostly from my home gym. Your workouts helped me to realize that I don’t need all the fancy equipment to get results. I can do it at home with dumbbells and I love that! While I do have a squat rack at home, I often enjoy alternating with one of your dumbbell workouts. Thank you for all the work you do in putting these videos out!
I have to say I was REALLY worried you was ill when I saw your hair change, that’s the only assumption I made. BUT I am SO glad you are ok and doing the change of colour and style for you! ❤️ you go girl and thank you for your honesty. Xxx
I like the blond too! I've never thought of your workouts as "senior" workouts, but knowing that you are over 50 gave me encouragement and motivation to start lifting. I have been lifting with you for over a year and a half and love the variety and knowledge you share with us. I am 63 now and the best I ever feel is after lifting with you. Thanks for all you do!!
I absolutely love your program! I’m 42 with no grey hair, and I followed you a few years ago because I was looking for guidance from someone real-someone who truly understands a woman’s body and its changes over time. Your hair isn’t a factor for me; your boldness and authenticity drew me in. I’m so grateful to see someone in fitness who’s true to herself and her choices. Thank you for creating such a welcoming space!
Actually, what drew me to your channel in the 1st place was neither of those 2 reasons you mentioned. I am in my late 30s and wanted to get back in shape from having 2 kids and how fit you looked while having grey hair, boosted my confidence to want to look like you at your age, and that you represented to me that it IS possible! So I hope that encourages you to know you are an encouragement just the way you are with your grey hair! I can't believe people are so judgmental. That makes me so sad for you. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in what you do. Don't change a thing. Plz. 7 months in and I still come back for more! 😊
being public-facing online is more intense than people give credit for. so many risks involved. thanks for continuing to put yourself out there and put your workouts out there. i've been doing lift with cee for two years and i appreciate all it has given me!
Well, I think you look awesome with both looks (re. your hair). Shame on folks for judging one way or the other. It sounds like you’re having fun with your new locks & that’s all that matters! Thanks, Cee!! I am super grateful for all you do!
Cheryl, nothing I was doing in my old strength-based HIIT workouts was helping change my body - AT ALL. It was only when I started following your workout routines that I started to see a difference. I am so grateful for your work! Thank you!!
I’m 35 and have been following you and consistently doing your workouts 3x a week for 1.5 years! I LOVE your content and I am so thankful for all that I have learned from you. You have empowered me to take care of my health and I can look to the future knowing that I am preparing my body for aging. Thank you!!!
Your workouts are fun, motivating and challenging which is exactly what I’m looking for. Have followed you for a while now and hope to see your workouts for many years to come. We need you! …and BTW I love your hair either way…you don’t need to explain yourself but hope the complainers are happy with your backstory/explanation. Thanks for doing what you do!!💪🏼 ♥️ 🙌
I Just found you on youtube. I am 67 years old and been exercising most days a week for 37 years. You workouts were just what i needed for this winter's inspiration. Thank you for the work outs.
I love that you're sharing your hair because it's so interesting and beautiful.. with that being said... this channel is NOT about hair... I cannot believe that's what followers are focusing on. It's about the workouts folks! Let's focus on building muscle and growing strong bodies!! Thanks Cee ❤
Cheryl. I get it. I LOVE my job, I’m 66 & I hate constantly coloring my hair BUT ageism is a real thing in the workplace. For me, I’ll keep doing it because it not only helps my confidence but sadly it helps others to be more confident in me while eliminating the auto response of judgment. Bravo! Love this and what you do here.
Listen, Cheryl, this is your channel and do with it whatever you see fit. Your explanation, though not needed, makes complete sense. You don't want to turn anyone away or off because they see your gorgeous, gray hair and they assume it's for "older" people. I think you look fantastic with gray, blonde, or brunette hair. Plus, if it makes you feel good and it doesn't hurt anyone, go for it. Personally, I think the blond looks great. Your workouts and generosity is what stands out the most, and, I am grateful and thank you for it.
I’ll be 48 this month. I’ve been doing your workouts for a year. I enjoy the workouts and find them to be exactly what I need. Challenging, yet doable in my schedule and lifestyle, and they definitely provide results. Thank you for what you do.
Love your workouts, I am 28 but found your page about a year ago and it has allowed me to enjoy lifting and stay consistent in a way I never was able to before. I will admit when I first found your page I thought it was for women over 40, but then I started doing the workouts and realized how toned I was becoming and how much stronger I felt, I did not care what age they were for! Whatever hair color you wish to have, is up to you! Very grateful to have found your page when I did!
The ageism on social media is over the top. I'm almost 60, working on learning youtube and offering content to help people heal trauma from a Bible based perspective combined with the most cutting edge mind-body healing technologies. Add to it the Bible based perspective and it's definitely an uphill process, but yet I persevere! Blessings to you for persevering in a climate that's challenging, especially with the fraudulent/fake social media platforms going up. I keep my perspective on helping people, letting that be my driver, it helps! 💜💜
Hi Cheryl, I love your workouts and I’ve been following you for more than a year now. I was definitely attracted to your channel because I thought you looked my age (you are) and I was specifically looking for strength training. You helped me regain the fitness I was losing during perimenopause. My old random workouts were failing me and I was confused. You offer the most straightforward, effective workouts and I’m so glad I found you. If your new hair gets you more viewers that’s awesome 😊
Cheryl, you are my hero! I appreciate you opening up and sharing why you have these workouts and chose to change your hair. Honesty is important, and as I have learned through a class I am taking, what our intent is when we say or do something can elicit a very different impact. You have taken the step to share your intent and also some of the impact it has had. Thank you for clarifying your intentions, which are honorable and amazing. I feel so much better at 71 than I have for most of my adult life, and the reason is I found you! I enjoyed this chat and look forward to more if you so desire.
Thank you so much for your honesty and your commitment to sharing your workouts for no other reason than just being helpful to all of us!! I’m almost 70 and I love your workouts. I get woozy if my blood pressure gets too high, so sometimes I rest longer in between sets, but I love the fact that I’m actually developing muscle when so many people my age are getting the jiggles . I can work out in my Pjs if I feel like it, then get on with my day . Keep up the good work… and you are beautiful, inside and out, with or without the “ new” hair 🙂❤️🙂
Thank you so much for your workouts Cee!! I have been doing them now for just over a year and what a difference they have made in my life. I am a 47 year old runner, but was loosing muscle mass and strength because I had never lifted before other than in gym class in high school. I am so much stronger than I have ever been and have a lot more energy. Your strength workouts are just what I needed... my clock has turned back 10 years!
Cheryl, I am 58 years old and I work out with you 3 times a week. This is the first time I'm seeing results from my workouts. I love all your workouts. I don't care if your hair was multi colored, continue to do what you do. You rock!!!!!.💯
You look fantastic! Everyone needs to just mind their own business
Me too!
Cee, is there a reason to choose the current 30 minute workouts over the 40 minute workouts other than the time element? Thank you!
Dear Cee, Thank you for taking the time. You are my inspiration - love the look either grey or blond! No judgment from me - only much GRATITUDE AND LOVE SENT YOUR WAY💜💜💜
Cheryl your workouts are the best! Keep being you! I love your honesty and your workouts❤❤😊
It's the BEST program I am so grateful!!!
You have an awesome day.
We love you here in Australia❤
My genz daughter can’t even finish her workouts 😂
So true, these workouts are HARD, but in a good way😄
Yup I am 31, 10 months postpartum and your workouts are extremely effective! I look and feel great
I love your natural hair!! I'm 38 and I purposely follow women that are in their 50s and 60s as an inspiration because that's how I would like to look and train when I'm in my 50s and 60s. ❤
Same!!!
As one who initially coloured my hair for years, I now love and embrace my silver hair.
I am 66 and lift 46 pounds of cat litter in one bundle no problem. Keep being you Cee, blonde or gray don’t matter.
I couldn't agree with you more!
Same!!
I absolutely agree and am super grateful for you!! ❤
To stick with Cee and the science is a combination of success! Seeing it and feeling it myself.
I’m 37 too and feel the exact same way!
I'm 38 and feel the same 💚
Same!!
I’m 36 and agree with you 100%! So appreciative for Cheryl and these workouts 😊
Wow! What a blessing to have your husband as your workout partner!❤
It can be! It will be!
I'm 67 & has been doing Lift with Cee since Jan. She's my rock & support!!! Thank you!! ♥️♥️
We can all strive to be our best at any age!
@@legalconsultant861 Exactly. I agree. 💯
I am a young woman who wears alternative hair and i love this confidence and honesty and how you stand up for your choice. Thank you!
My first thought was she brought back the color and added extensions! Yes, this. So natural.
Especially for women ❤
Updating my comment to add what I've been thinking since watching this video:
If we were watching a video of a very fit guy with grey hair who was teaching us his workout, MOST people would NOT think, "Oh, that's an old guy - he doesn't know anything/his workout is not for me." Nooo...in our society, most people would think, "Hey! That guy is really fit AND he's older - he must know what he's doing!" But when it's a woman with grey hair, the polar opposite occurs. This isn't by accident - we live in a society that devalues women in general and doubly devalues women as they age :o/
Additionally, if a man were to begin lifting weights in order to get in shape, MOST people would NOT call him a vain old man.
Thank you ❤
Love these sit-down chats! Thank you for taking the time to share with us in such a gracious way.
Who cares what colour your hair is-you're fantastic Cheryl, and I'm very grateful for EVERYTHING you do for us!
Seriously who cares what color your hair is I love you❤
You are so greatly appreciated Cee and you look absolutely amazing!
Thank you! Love your authenticity!
Thank you for your free workouts! I really appreciate you ❤
I have been following you since 2022. Your workouts are fantastic.I am shocked about the shallowness of people ,worrying about your hair color.
I don’t think your gray hair will change who you are one of the best weight trainers I have seen on UA-cam
I love the way you are with your gray hair or with your new style blond
The important thing is that you are happy with your new look!
Thank you for your great vibe and help the community with your TOP weight training program ❤
You are so authentic and people should consider that more than their own issues. Love you!
Yes!!!!!!!!! Keep hitting on the hormones, stress and perimenopause. Not many workouts cater for these changes!!!
I thought that was your real hair. I couldn’t even tell. I was paying more attention to all the free value that you provide. I love your workouts. ❤
I think you are amazing whatever you do! You are so thoughtful about everyone. I am loving the workouts and the hair! You are simply terrific!
Thanks so much ❤
Yes ! This ❤
I think this hair looks really good on you but I didn't think the gray was bad either.
Thanks for all your amazinggggg workouts! LOV❤ THEM! Loveeeeee the hair, you look amazinggggg! Keep up the great job 🎉
I admire your transparency, Cee! You are an inspiration as an active, strong healthy woman (inside and out)! 💪🏻❤
I loved your real hair….it wasn’t fake. It’s just a shame that you feel the need to have to change yourself for a judgmental group of people. You can’t
please everyone and why would you want to…..but you do you and you do whatever makes you happy.
I love your program! I'm 67 and it works for me. I have not injured myself once! Fellow silver sister here!❤
Cheryl, you are my hero!
