B. Considering the only chance Howard had was to break security protocols and take her to a top secret government facility just to get her to talk to him, chances are he wasn't gonna get that 2nd date anyways, no matter what Leonard did.
3. Considering how shitty Howard is as a person (lazy, sexist, racist, slightly homophobic, and more than willing to constantly mock Leonard for any reason), I'd say Stehpanie dodged a huge bullet.

@@redacted2275 Howard was too goofy and borderline creepy before Bernadette. She made him good. She, on the other hand, became the worst character in my opinion. She also killed his fun side completely, which would've been slightly alive if he ended up with Amy instead. Penny was too hard on him and didn't quite fix him (Leonard honestly did a better job in this area but not like Bernadette).
