| The Anchor | is a five-piece, female-fronted, metalcore band from Denver, Colorado. | The Anchor | and Linzey Rae have made a name for themselves since the viral explosion of their UA-cam series, Metal Kitchen. | The Anchor | prides themselves on making metalcore accessible and fun for people who don’t generally listen to the genre. Ultimately, | The Anchor | creates music to help others find a voice of understanding and simply be themselves.
We write music with the objective of providing an uplifting message while promoting the value of self-worth. Knowing firsthand the refuge that music can offer away from life’s struggles, we hope to be a voice of understanding and provide a place that someone can call their home. This is so much more than a band, it is a family.

This song describes me perfectly. I'm always there if someone needs me, don't matter how bad I'm feeling. But inside I know I can't do the thinks I need to do for them. And I know the day will come when they will realize it and I will not be prepared for it. I just wanna be a good friend, brother, son, etc. but I can't. That's more then I can do. I have my own problems I have to deal with and it's not easy. I'm 20 years old now, and I changed life's for many people, but my own life is still at 0. Life is hard, but I get through it. This song motivate me everytime I hear it to go on. So thank your "The Anchor" for helping me through life. ❤

Dang! Only so many times in a life time do you get to see a drummer play and sing at one time. Dude has my respect! Linzey owns my respects though.
I was hit by a car where I died twice and fell into a coma in 2013 and when I found The Anchor in 2014/2015 they saved my life and helped in my recovery so much PLUS THEY ARE AMAZING PEOPLE I got to meet them in Tulsa twice side note Linzey is the greatest
