    Great video. Recommend the next time you do a bow build, set it up against a light solid colored background so it stands out more.

    Made the trip to the Bow Rack and got my EVL 34 on Thursday. I had a great shop experience. The EVL is a great shooting bow. I’m transitioning from a 2000s Xforce so this thing feels so sweet. This video is super helpful. Always appreciate your videos.

    I just picked one up as a shop demo for $600 so new, I am excited to get this rolling I love the EC2 cam but couldn't afford a bow with that cam so I am hoping this one with the evolve cam is as smooth!

    Center shot-I mount a 30" target stabilizer and then from the rear I line up center shot moving the rest as needed. Line the arrow up right down the center of the stabilizer. This gets it so close to true center fast. Many times it's a bullet hole set up to be gin with. Another great video on set up👍👍.

      With this aren't you trusting that the stabilizer hole, mount, and threads are machined perfectly square and central?

    • @timbow50
      @timbow50 3 роки тому

      C. B. Yes. Now why would they machine a stabilizer mounting hole that wasn't 100%in line with the main axis of the bow? My son said the same thing yeRs ago. I've used this system on probably 30 bows set ups for myself and others. Minute adjustments of the rest will take care of left/right hits.

    My pro shop took those rubber pegs out of the stops and it got rid of that little sponge feel out, and it felt a lot better. I've since switched out to the Lucky Stops and went from the stock 75% to 80% @79.8lbs. After about 800 shots we checked the weight and it had dropped about 3lbs. Other than that, this EVL 32 is awesome.

    Why don't you mount the front stabilizer on the lower mount. I know it is a personal thing but seems optimal to get the weight as low as possible

    Better late than never…but I had to sell my VXR. Due to a motorcycle accident a few yrs ago, my left shoulder just couldn’t handle those cams. I shot the EVL 32 and 34, at various letoffs but wasn’t able to try a Dudley NTN. In a nutshell, besides brace height, what is the difference between the 33” NTN and the 34” EVL?

    42:38 your string stop is also way off the string that’s adding a lot of noise I’m sure.

    Great video. You have taught me a lot. Thanks for the time you took. Question... Do you make sure your bow is balanced before paper tuning? How much does having a bow out of balance effect a paper tune? Thanks again.

    If we're just entering the compound bow feel when we go to a boat shop what do we need to ask or say to the people that are in the shop so we don't look like we trying to steal

    I recently purchased this same bow and noticed on the draw board that the top draw stop is missing the cable. The stops are timed but the top one goes behind the cable. Could this be caused by the rod?

    I shot the evo ntn 33, but the shop didn't have the evo evl 34. Am I correct to assume that they would draw and hold the same with the ec cam? I would rather buy the evl if they feel the same. Thanks for the content. I've learned a lot.

    i love your videos! Can you please tell me,the way that you attached the rest string to that hole in the yoke,is that the best way to do it? because in another video of yours on a different pse ,you just tied the string to that hole.Or are both ways just as affective?

  • @jasonwandling4203
    @jasonwandling4203 3 роки тому +1

    Why are you changing the strings? I think the factory PSE live wire strings are great.

    • @MoseMoser

      Gas strings are superior, give them a shot. I have them on my v3, I’d put them on my Rx5 ultra but I haven’t had any give in my string yet in the months I’ve had it.

    Great video! Are you going to be using this set up for hunting season this year? Also , I noticed you yoked tuned instead of putting in spacers like a Mathews. Does PSE have spacers or is it strictly tuned by yokes and the cable guard? I have been a Mathews guy for a while and I just picked up a 34 to replace my VXR so I’m not familiar with the yoke tuning. Would love to see a bare shaft tuning video on this bow!!!

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  3 роки тому +2

      On this year's PSE you can yoke tune or use the spacers, but they're much more difficult to get to than Mathews top hats.
      And no, this set up is just for TAC.
