Vlog Two - Talking Crochet and Canvaswork

- Hello again. This chat is all about my crochet blankets and the embroidered pictures which have been inspired by them. I love crochet, and I equally love canvaswork, a form of embroidery also known as needlepoint. So why not combine the two?
Also the projects started during pandemic lockdowns, and the wild windswept beach all of which saved my sanity in uncertain times.
I design and publish crochet blanket patterns, but so far have not produced any needlepoint patterns. Let me know in the comments if you would be interested in something like that.

Beautiful blankets and beautiful needlework. I have never been a lover of granny squares but now using them as colour patterns has given me a different way of using them. I love beach walks and I am happy to say I will be moving to the coast later this year.

your embroidery "painting" is simply mesmerizing - outstanding craft work, such a creative idea, and it has a soothing result - I could see this hanging in a museum

Thank you Marion, I love your work and am fascinated by the crochet combined with needlepoint. I only began crocheting this year and have nearly finished the Moody Blue blanket which I have enjoyed so much and would love a pattern to stitch this or the beach walk blanket 🙂

Hi Marion. What a talented lady. I am fairly new to crochet and have just started the beach walk blanket which is so enjoyable and relaxing. However, the needlepoint is stunning and I would certainly be interested in buying a pattern should one be available in the future. As a widowed "senior" I find knitting and crochet relaxing and mindful. The hours fly by. I enjoyed your video very much and look forward to the next one. Thank you, Julia

I really enjoyed this video. Many moons ago I did quite a lot of cross stitch and I would really enjoy working your blanket patterns if you are prepared to write them. Would you do tutorials too?
