Still confused, I think I need to watch this a few more times.
Its way too long imo. Too many words
I have a commercial model I found at a thrift store for $5. A Baskin Robbins VM0115A. It was an epic find. 🤣
You win at life sir
Bow down peasants to the almighty pizza rat.
Lmao I’ve seen your Reddit post

This was the most relaxing product review I've ever seen 😌
I went with the e310 because it was the only one that had the container size that I needed out of the gate. It would be great if Vitamix let you buy the machine and pick out your own wet container size. Now that would be genius and very helpful. Love your videos!
That is an excellent idea!
Do you think it’s too loud?
What a fantastic video. I've watched it multiple times now because there's so much great info. Thanks!!!
Love our 2500! This was the video that helped me decide...
Daily recipe:
1/2 Cup Yoghurt
1/2 Cup Almond Milk
1 cup frozen or thawed fruit.
Teaspoon of flax, bran, collagen powder or Vegan protein powder...
2 ice cubes.
Super fast clean up!
Love it!
Great video and helped cement my desire for the Vitamix that I bought yesterday at the Texas State Fair. My only regret is that I did not but through LifeIsNoYoke as they obviously have put a lot of time and energy into helping others who want a Vitamix or already have one. Amazingly calm presentation…as titled for the video. I do need a few accessories so I will be burying through this UA-cam channel! Thank you!
Best deal is the V1200 made for Costco. Its part of the Acsent series, its identical to the A3500 in everything but aesthetics, and I prefer actual dials and toggle over touch screen, given thats one more thing to go wrong and wear out and the pulse is more responsive on a toggle than the touch screen. But since they are identical on the app, and I'm an app kind of user, that was my choice. The noise difference is negligible, and I dont care about the steel housing. Its 350.00 cheaper than the A3500 and performs identically.
Thanks! The noise is a big factor for me - I appreciate that you mentioned it by different models.
Thank you! That was one of the BEST infomercials I've seen. You hit all the bases!
Thanks for this video! I bought the A3500 and used your code. It is a life changer. I’m loving the green juice! Thank you.
Thanks for the no-nonsense minimalist and yet differentiated approach.

I used your link to buy the A2500 last night. I was having a really hard time making a decision about which model I should get. Thank you for making the choice easier for me. I discovered your channel last night and I think I'm gonna be watching you regularly
Oh my goodness! This video is so helpful! I've been toying with buying a Vitamix for years, but there are so many different models that I could never figure out which one to get. I'm set now and very excited to finally get one. Thanks so much!
I dont comment much, but as someone with Analysis Paralysis this was a fantastic video
Just ordered my A3500 through your link! Thanks so much :)
I've watched a couple videos of yours now. After this one, I've subbed. Thanks!
Great review and explanation! I really appreciate that you helped me make my final purchase decision with a sense of being truly informed. Thanks!
I LOVED WATCHING EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF THIS VIDEO AND YOUR OTHERS😃!! Now I have to go back through them ALL and pick the one I want to buy😊👁!!!! I’m a Nutra bullet lover… now I’m ready to move up to the next level🙏🏾
Just ordered my 3500. Thanks for the excellent review.
Me too
I’m only like 1 min and 30 seconds into this video and I already want to hire you to narrate my life haha. What a soothing voice and genuine character. When we buy a Vitamix later this year (just moved so saving up a little) but I’m definitely using your links and will register. Best intro ever. Well done.
GREAT presentation of facts. Thank you. I'm a single person, buying mainly for smoothies and don't care about noise. So will go with the least expensive Explorian E310 especially now knowing that blend quality is same for all models.
That’s what I went for. See my post at the top. 👍
I’d love to see some recipe ideas for the 8 oz container (not baby foods) ✨
This was a great video! I was struggling figuring out which model I wanted. My A3500 just arrived today and I can't wait to start trying it out!
“We are real people-“
Me- sounds like something a robot would say. 🤔
Thanks so much for the very helpful info- just ordered our Ascent 3500 from your site!
This was genuinely very helpful and charming. Thank you. This provided me with information I need as we consider purchasing a vitamix.
Thanks. This was calming yet helpful.
One of the best ads that make me want to see your ads... forgot why I came here.
But.... I'll say that I am happy I kept watching since the food processor isn't compatible to Legacy and because I was thinking of Explorian but do want quieter.
Tips helped making decision. Now.. I just subscribed to keep laughing .. Thanking for the organic goofy moments. Best of luck!
Thank you for this video! I was so overwhelmed on which to get but the breakdown has helped me decide on the A2500!
Great info. Thanks. But please which one is quietest and lightest vitamix to be travelled with?
Love the answer to 'How much snow?" "Lots and lots!"
I am so happy I found your video. I have been going back and fourth about getting a vitamix for months but you are putting my indecisiveness at ease... I still may need to message you with a couple questions because I want to make sure I’m purchasing what’s best for me, but man... it’s nice to have a trustworthy source!
I was the same then I bought one. Of course the quality is great but save your money. It's really difficult to get anything thick from under the blade, and the lid is awful, hard to get on and off with no pour spout. I have no idea why this guy says the blade being fixed makes it easy to clean....it's literally the opposite! Other blenders do the same job for half the price....easier to clean and less waste.
@@tanshievlogs well I've still got the Vitamix but my daughter uses the little nutribullet for preference! I haven't used others but for fruits and veggies I'm sure any good quality blender will be perfect. I'd go for one that's easy to clean. If I change mine I'll probably get the ninja but I'm not an expert.
Your voice is oddly relaxing
Awesome review, soooo helpful! Thank you!
Great, awesome presentation , LOVED IT. I want to work for Vitamix now. I've had my Vitamix for many years, I think it's a Legacy. Works great, but I've always have had so so so many c questions about, series, accessories, differences etc. Watched many videos for info and recpes, but you by far have provided the most helpfu.l and useful info. Entertaining too. So I kept watching y our videos. Thank you
Is the legacy a loud blender ?
Just ordered the 3500. Thank you for getting me there!
Over coming the sting 🐝! Congrats ! I trying to get there as well. 😂
Just bought the 750 direct. Thank you for this video!
Hey! I'd be really interested in your feedback. I have an OLD OLD OLD vitamix like legacy x10! I want to get a new one - preferably one that fits UNDER my countertop (I have the tall one). My biggest gripe is NOISE. I know no vitamix will be quiet - however i've watched your reviews and am between the 3300 and the 3500. I want the color BLACK but the black 3300 is not ALL METAL. I was wondering - do you know how much louder the plastic 3300 is vs the all metal 3300?
Thank you so much!
I love the relaxing music.
Thanks homie. Really appreciate your vibe
You do great reviews and cover a lot, thank you so much. You didn't mention the 5300, which I have my eye on at Sam's Club. Have you heard anything about it, is it just an upgrade to the 5200?
hey @lifeisnoyoke - I love your videos! I recently got a vitamix and am hooked to your videos! Excellent stuff! I had a quick question though. The driver socket on my vitamix is moving around. Is that expected?
A little bit of movement is normal, but lots of jerking around isn't
@@LINY thank you! I have a friend who also got a vitamix recently. I will check with her to make sure it's similar. It'll be great to see what you mean by a little if you ever get a chance in an faq video or something.
Just ordered the 2300 using your link. Looking forward to its arrival! Thanks for the tips.
I have a question. I put the stainless spoon into container during the blade still spinning by accident, because I want to put the air out. The speed is 1. I am wondering does that cause my blades tear some piece? Thank you
Awesome video. Thanks so much. You helped me make my decision. Just ordered the A3500. No regrets ;) Also, I used your referral link.
Thank you!! Just purchased the A3500 reconditioned! Super excited!! ^_^
I will be getting an A2500 in a year or so when I move out due to the three program settings and the versatility of container options for future use. We have had what is now a Legacy model for about 20 years (my entire childhood) and it is the single most used appliance in the kitchen even more than our crockpot. Still runs almost as well as when it was new and showing no signs of dying. The cost is a bit much if you impulse purchase but 100% worth it if you plan for it.
I love that they have the food processor attachment now and want one so I can make slaw and other foods that hand cutting or using a mandolin is just too much work for.
Thanks for making this video because I've been on the fence for a while with which one to get and why there are so many different models and which model is better oh my God there are so many options and which options to go with ugh it's exhausting and stressful 😅. So thanks again and let me say that this music to go with it is relaxing as well do once again thanks for the advice
The magic trick with the razor got me to like the video.👍
So are the wider containers really better? I want to make nut butters and soups. I was by looking at legacy. I was under the impression the the tall narrow ones were really good. Should I go for an explorian e320 with 64oz instead?
I use & love the "classic" series Pro 500 stainless w/ PCA kit, space saving set & cup & bowl set. It's loud. What is the quietest of this legacy base old or new? Or what silencer cover is suitable? Where does the Local Canadian model "Super" Total Nutrition Center come in? As far as power & noise?
LOVE your video, your nice voice, your pleasant attitude, and thoroughness. I bought a A2500, and a hipster cup kit and processor form Vitamix direct after watching your video. I will order more from your company that I bookmarked.
Heya what about the aspire range ? That's the one I've got, the 1.4L. Interested to know how you think it stacks up :)
This video has been extremely helpful, thank you very much! I’m ordering the 3500 with the food processor. I’ll be getting rid of the compact Ninja smoothie maker, the Ninja blender and the Kitchenette food processor.
I was thinking about getting the 3500 but so may reviews mention that etching that happens after a few weeks - is this a normal thing because of the power of this blender?
You had me at 20 min timer. 🥰 Subscribed!
Welcome aboard!
On a serious note how good are ur blenders at powdering ei for plant milks...
I work at the strongsville factory you should review the 100 year anniversary blender when It comes out oops that was a secret.
🤫🤫🤫 when does it come out? Was gonna buy one ASAP but you made me wanna hold off… lol 🤫🤫🤫
Thanks for the info, bud. Just ordered the A3500 through you.
Love this video. Thanks!
I have a big old Vitamix 5200 which I love and is still going strong. BUT I want something like a Nutribullet. Small with small containers. Does Vitamix have anything like that?
What guage surge protection cord should I get for the A3300? I get a lot of severe storms where im at and want to have it surge protected.
Yeah, thank you for the breakdown.. really helpful
Hy! I bot a A 3500 but the original big container it's not detected, at all. Do you have any advaised? The 20 and the 8 they are detected. Thank you.
I would love to buy a legacy model (5200 or Pro 750) but they don't sell them anymore in Spain... I was thinking to get the E310 but I'm really concerned about the noise. Is there any possibility legacy models are available again here?
I never knew there was a name to what i had - paralysis by analysis 😫 i hate it because i end up getting frustrated and don’t choose anything until the bug bites again and the research starts all over. Happened to me when i was looking into buying my juicer. Thank you for this video, go big or go home right ?
Paralysis by analysis exactly describes me. 😅 So did you buy a vitamix then?
Me too! I finally just pulled the trigger! I got the 3500
I am ready to make the plunge.
I wonder if A3500i is as good as the A3500? And wonder what is the difference between them? Also do you guys have such a link for buying it or just for the A3500?
Hi, thankful to come across your vids, wanting to get the white A3500, but I've heard that its louder? Is that true or does it really have a bit difference with the stainless steel ones? Thanks! 🙂
We found a marginal difference in our tests, Vitamix says no difference
I have learned a lot from you. Thanks so very much, first of all, because I'd was completely lost when it came to the differences. Well, besides the pricing. I am a 56 yo woman that of course lives on a fixed income and I'm getting ready to have bariatic surgery on January 12th. I have been learning how to cook and eat healthy. I currantly have a regular Black and Decker blender, but I try to make smoothies and other things with that machine with not any luck. I am so hoping we get a stimulas because I'm looking at a reconditioned Vitamix on Amazon. If I am able to get it before it gets gone, I need to please know which of the probes? or I'm not sure what they are called that fits the Explorian 64oz? Thanks so very much. Rhonda
PS: I didn't realize you sold the Vitamix machines. I will be checking what you have available before I go thru Amazon.
What are your thoughts on the 7500? They sell it at Costco in that bundle package. This would be my first Vitamix. Debating between 7500 or 5200. Main use will be smoothies, juices and shakes.
What's your opinion on refurbished vitamix Thank you very much for sharing the information video. I would like to see on your site the refurbished to purchase.
THANKS, MADE THE RESEARCH REALLY COOL....
I just used your link to purchase my Vitamix Ascent 3500, along with an underblade scraper. I'm excited - but, felt the sting indeed! How do I receive the recipe ebook from you?
Hi all, could you kindly tell me if the 48 once container is still available for the Ascent Series? Looking at the Vitamix web site it seems that it's just for the other Series. Thanks
Does anyone know if I could use Ascent 8oz bowl and 20oz cup attached to Personal Cup Adapter on Vitamix Pro 750?
Hey there. Great compare/review. I’m mostly looking to do smoothies (both fruit/veg, fresh and frozen). I also want to do protein shakes while adding in some other stuff like raw oats, maybe some cacao nibs. Will the vitamix be able to get thru the cacao nibs? I would love to be able to make my own nut butters (no more buying it lol), nut milk (like almond milk). I’m not going to be making any soups or salsa’s etc..that’s why idk if i can justify spending $550 on the recon a3500. I love the features it has though. I don’t necessarily need all the fancy stuff but i do like it and having options like walking away from it. I found a pro 750 actually for $50 less then the recon a3500. I need to research that one more.
I’ve been watching some comparison vids. Majority of ppl in my juicing group recommended vitamix to me, a few others said blendtec, and a couple said nutribullet and ninja. I def do NOT want a ninja ( due to reviews). The nutribullet RX appealed to me but reviews are consistent w/ the pitchers needing replacement due to leaking and also seals issues (which is also an issue w/ the ninja). Blendtec reconditioned is cheaper then vitamix but they are super loud! Vitamix does make a vacuum style blender too but way out of my budget range.
I was also recommended Kuvings v1000 vacuum blender - this one and also their 500 vacuum model appealed to me big time but the consistency of the smoothie looks soupy and fibrous - like it needs to be strained compared to the blenders. I did like the consistency of the nutribullet Rex but am i gonna be able to do cacao nibs in it ya know.
I’m still on the hunt but your video helped me very much - ty. Big thumbs up
What did you get?
Do you have any views on a vacuum blender?
What is nice cream? I appreciate this video and love the nice calm background music you have in the background. I like your personality.
I purchased a refurbished A2500 and looked at the website this morning, I bought mine in 2018 for $302 out the door now the same blender refurbished is going for $399 sale price. I have saved 100 bucks getting it when I did and mine is still brand new in the box hope chesting. I only used mine once to make sure it wasn’t defective before storing. My home life is unconventional right now so I can’t get it out and use it yet. But I will. 😀
A3500 will ship in 7 days. Stoked. Thanks for the review!
I made you Green juice, it’s so good, we loved it, thank you. I am responsible to do the juice every day.
What is in it?
My favorite is still the old chrome ones, like my 3600, where you reverse the motor at full speed. Makes a weird whizzing noise and you have to keep a hand on it or it’ll spin on the counter.
Thank you! I was drowning in all the comparisons and decisions on which Vitamix to get. This really helped lay out what things to consider and which models have (or don't have) the things most important to me. Sounds like the A3300 will probably be my jam! Quiet, dishwasher-safe, easy-clean face, simpler interface...checks all my boxes!
I just ordered the A3500! 🙏🏼
Hey I am based in Sweden and would love to buy through your affiliate link but it seems like it is only for purchases in the US, UK and Canada. Is that correct or am i doing something wrong? ps loved the video it was super helpful!
Will I get the same customer service and the manufacture warranty if I buy it from the Amazon link you provided in the description below?
I’m really concerned about this matter because unfortunately they don’t ship to my country.
Very watchable video. I came from a Ninja to an Explorian E310. Never looked back. Ok, it’s the cheapest with the least features but there is a thing called a stopwatch! However, I do like to drool over the Ascent A3500i. But when you said the E310 is best for single users, that made me smile, because I am. Thank you for the blog.
Honestly, I don't feel like the newer models with more features are necessarily better than the more classic models, reason being that the newer models have containers that are wider at the base. The tall narrow container in the "OG" 5200 model - which the e310 seems to come with a shorter version of - make sure that a great vortex is created inside the container that always sucks everything towards the blades. Some independent tests have shown that in the same amount of time ingredients are blended to a smoother consistency in these more narrow containers. Now you may ask why Vitamix started developing wider containers in the first place? Well, that is because a lot of people complained that they can't store the tall containers in their cupboards, but they still wanted to keep the same volume.
Are they all around the same size base? They look huge in videos and photos.
I got a new 5200 on sale direct from Vitamix for $300.00. I’ve had it replaced once and the motor is making alarming sounds again. It’s still under warranty and Vitamix customer service has been excellent. I’m stumped because the hardest thing I’ve ever blended was ice in smoothies or frozen berries. The longest I’ve ever blended is a minute and a half making oat flour out of rolled oats. I see Vitamix everywhere in grocery store cafés, restaurants, and juice bars getting used all day long making just about everything and they look just fine. I peeked over at one at a juice bar and it is a Vita Prep 3 which has a 3hp motor. Which is more than the 5200 I have. What’s the most hardcore thing you’ve ever put in your A3500? Have you had any trouble with it?
I’m in between the 7500 16 in 1 vs 13 in 1 but not sure the difference. You didn’t mention the 7500 is it just not as good as the ones mentioned?
Is the explorian louder than a ninja? I have the ninja and I’m used to loud lol
I wish I had seen this video before I got mine. I was under the impression that the low profile you couldn't make smaller batches. I have the 5200 which I have no complaints with, but seeing this I would have gone with the ascents because I can see that you don't have to just make a large batch of things. Having said that, how long would it take to blend for almond butter? The videos I'm seeing usually have the ascent and it takes a minute and my 5200 needs more time. Appreciate any tips, thank you!
The truth about almond butter in a vitamix ua-cam.com/video/zDoISGoL1F8/v-deo.html
Do you think that the fact that there is the plastic tip on the bell, that there may be a risk of plastic leeching into foods that have hot liquids (ie soup) or use oils (ie salad dressings)?
can you find out why there is still no 48oz ascent container available in Europe? the standard container is way too big for small households..
Yes, i agree! And it would also be nice to know if the food processor attachment will also be able one day in Europe?
I want to start off by saying I'm sorry! I'm sorry that I found your sight after I purchased my e310 from target. If I could go back in time, I'd make the purchase from your links. I love your videos, and if/when we upgrade, we will go through your links!! Keep up the great videos, and I look forward to making what you show.
Hi, I am thinking of pulling the plug and buying the 310. I live in an apartment though, (even though you may not, how do you gage the noise level)? I typically would not be blending anything until about 11am.
This is a really helpful video. I am in the UK and I have just ordered the Ascent 2500 which is due to come on Monday (day after tomorrow). I decided on this one after several hours of comparing different models and reading various reviews and comparisons, and came to the conclusion it would meet all my needs without going over the top. I loved the top of the range one but in the end decided it wasn’t worth the price as the extra electronic wizardry was something I could live without. Then, having put in my order, I found this video, and was very pleased to have all my thoughts confirmed! I am buying this Vitamix to replace another high-speed blender which has died on me. I decided not to go with a similar replacement because they don’t offer half the accessories. I already own a Vitamix under-blade scraper and that is absolutely brilliant - highly recommended. One reason I chose this particular Vitamix was that one day I may get the food processor attachment, and I really like the idea of the dry grinding to do one’s own flour - most intriguing. I live a whole-food plant-based lifestyle and a high-speed blender is an essential piece of kit for me, in daily use, so it needs to be reliable. Thanks for all the good advice on your videos.
Have you been happy with your vitamix after 9 months? I'm thinking of going the same device for similar reasons, trying to decide if the next model up is worth it or if most people are happy with the slightly lower one.
@@jkff2472 Interesting question - thanks! Happy to share my experience with you. I had my 2500 for a very short time (got it from Amazon) and it developed an electrical fault and kept tripping the main switch so I sent it back and got a refund. The reason I didn’t go for the top of the range one at the time was that Amazon was charging silly money for it. In the meantime I discovered it was better to get it direct from Vitamix because Amazon can have them hanging around for months in their warehouses and ordering direct means you get the latest manufacture (there’s a date on it somewhere) which means the latest firmware etc. Maybe really subtle differences between machines with the same model number but worth considering. I went on their website and found the 3500 - yes, more than I had paid for the 2500 but nothing like as expensive as Amazon, so I bought it.
I have never regretted it for a single moment. I am really glad the 2500 went wrong, or I’d never have thought of getting the 3500. The added advantage of being able to set the timer before you begin blending is a huge bonus, as is the self-clean feature. The touch screen is great, and gives a nice smooth surface for easy cleaning. I absolutely love my machine and use it several times a day. I also bought the cup/bowl accessory set (also in frequent use) and the best accessory of all, the under-blade scraper, which I think should come with it as standard! This machine is utterly awesome and I don’t know how I lived without it!
I would definitely recommend spending the extra money and getting the 3500. You won’t regret it. BTW I have no financial interest in Vitamix - just a more than satisfied customer. Having used both, the 3500 is definitely worth it. It’s the most expensive of my counter-top machines but I have found it essential for the whole-food plant-based lifestyle. Totally awesome machine.
I hope this helps.
@@ShoshiPlatypus Thank you so much for responding, that was super helpful and I really appreciate it. I am vegan and will be using it an awful lot as well, and want to make the best choice for such an expensive investment. Thank you again, cheers!
@@jkff2472 You’re more than welcome! I think you will be as thrilled with it as I am. I make almond milk, and also a rehydration/electrolyte drink daily as I have an ileostomy and have to make sure I don’t get dehydrated. I sweeten most things with dates or bananas and the Vitamix is super-useful for that. I also make loads of different soups. I’m not a great lover of smoothies but I do make smoothie bowls and use it to top my overnight oats/chia breakfast.
I first got interested in nutrition as a result of my bowel cancer in 2015 after having ulcerative colitis all my adult life - I joined a stoma forum and it was on there that I first heard about the Vitamix. I couldn’t afford one at the time and bought a different high speed blender which wasn’t half as good but it served its purpose for a few years. In the early days I was worried about obstructions and not being able to eat certain things but I can eat anything now. Some people get problems with very fibrous foods and a high speed blender helps you get these without the risk. It was only later that I realised how much more useful and versatile this machine could be.
Some helpful UA-cam channels you might enjoy: Blending with Henry (love this guy - he’s really fun!), LifeIsNoYoke (great Vitamix channel), Simnett Nutrition (great for recipes and lifestyle), Nutmeg Notebook, Pick Up Limes and Chef AJ - all have great recipes and health info. It was Chef AJ who really got me going on the WFPB lifestyle although I’d given up meat by that time. To begin with I thought she was super-extreme with her no-oil cooking but I’m now doing most of what she does and it doesn’t seem so extreme now! She has awesome guests on her channel and it was through her that I discovered Forks Over Knives - if you haven’t seen this film it’s absolutely brilliant. Available on their website (shame they took it off Netflix). I learnt about the various medical giants in this field - Drs Esselstyn and Campbell, and Dr Michael Greger to name a few. Other great films are What the Health, PurePlant Nation and The Game Changers - some on UA-cam, also Netflix. Cowspiracy and Seaspiracy are also must-watch for vegans! So much deception and misinformation going on in the world because of big bucks, big pharma and big ag. Embarking on this journey I never thought I’d learn all this stuff! It’s been quite an adventure.
Put another comment on here if and when you get your Vitamix and let us know how you get on with it. Have fun!

@@ShoshiPlatypus Thank you! Those are my favourite documentaries! I know some of those channels and have a few books by those people, but not all and there's always more to learn. I recently found Rainbow Plant Life, which is similar to Pick Up Limes. I cannot believe at times how much my views around this have changed. I've been vegan for 6 years now, and it started with me trying to find a way to combat constant heartburn and a general decline in health at the time. Due to a change in circumstances over the past year, I had stopped eating more whole food meals with a focus on nutrition, and started opting more for a lot of bread and rather processed vegan foods. Unsurprisingly things went downhill and now that I'm able, I want to get back on track.
Thank you again for sharing some of your story here and so happy eating this way is working really well for you. My father almost died from cancer of the esophagus, had never been a smoker but suffered from chronic heartburn all his life and was told this contributed. I think I truly needed to hear that and take the plunge with a vitamix sooner rather than later.
I am a small family, I just brought E310 , is it 48 oz dry blade container can use in E310.
You have a very calm authentic way of selling i really like it. It's a bit of asmr also. I'm finding options for India it's a bit difficult and a bit too expensive
