I'm a little late to the party but that tip to use the ADH on your roots and blow dry worked amazing! I have basically the same haircut as you (I used a pic of you as reference for my stylist without realizing it was you) and I've never been able to get volume in my hair until I tried that. Thank you so much for sharing.

I'm now learning how to use makeup to enhance my features. I love that your makeup is always soft looking. I recently got a disconnected pixie and I'm really loving the funky look.
I recently cut my hair in a similar style to get rid of all my color (I hadn’t colored the grays in 15 months...or been to the salon! Yikes!!) so about 6” we’re cut off. I have a lot of gray in front but the back had more dark brunette. Due to some hormonal changes and medication, I’ve lost a lot of volume. I have naturally wavy hair and it used to be super thick. I’m okay with the volume left as it makes styling easier. This video really was helpful and shows me what products and techniques to try. Thank you so much!! 💕
I just cut my long hair off yesterday like yours. It was so dry and colored many times!!!I didn’t shave my sides, though. I was really scared it would make my face look bigger. It’s a bob with longer sides. When my stylist should me my before and after hair, my face looked thinner. Everyone says I look younger, which is sweet at 40! Gonna have fun styling and playing with it.

Me too! I'm getting mine cut tomorrow. Bra band to this. I looked all over pinterest for inspiration, but this is the one. Think I'm for the side cuts too depending on my stylists advice (and she's adventurous!)
One of my pet peeves about my short bob is the front. My hair always flips forward like yours did and I get frustrated cause no matter what I do it still flips forward. I will try this tip next time 🙂

(I like the idea of the KENDRA PLATINUM DRY TEXTURE SPRAY)

I pull my hair up loosely while its drying..once dry release and its very voluminous....thats good if you dont have anywhere to be right away in the morning

Why do you use ADH dry as opposed to ADH wet when you blow dry? I am like you and don't like the feel of the powder play and am considering this and don't know if I should do the wet or dry.
Laura Dillon because adh dry is a texture creme with a matte finish while adh wet is a pomade! I would never use a pomade at my roots haha.. I don’t like the powder stuff much either.. they are way too sticky for me
Chloe Brown gotcha. I just cut my hair short like yours with an undercut and haven't ever used products before. I couldn't figure out the difference between the adh dry and adh wet, so thank you for clarifying. I have Paul Mitchell's re-works, is that sort of the same as it's a texture cream. I want to get adh dry but if the Paul Mitchell is similar I want to use it up first.

Maybe I can do a bit of side shave (both sides or just one if i have thin hair? ) but no undercut. Wello, yours is undercut on 1 side and shaved on the other. Correct? It is a great product. I have very thin, baby fine hair, and dry texture spray works wonders. You just have to fine tune it to the amount you need for your hair. My hair is cut in a short, over the ears, longer on top and short in the back style. Love the Kendra Professional 14 hair spray. It does not weigh your hair down. Hope this helps.
