I would definitely put this in a studio booth , hanging from the ceiling but covered in a glass cabinet of sorts to keep the cotton wool clean
The good thing about this is that when fire starts, you die quickly, almost in painless death.

@specUVdust funny enough, I was previously an energy auditor and licensed electrician, but I am a Fire Captain as of late. I can confirm that this is most definitely a fire hazard. Even though those leds don't reach a high operating temperature, imagine if that stuffing were to catch a spark or god forbid a glancing blow from Nicolas Cage's Ghost Rider.

It is safe if u use right materials. The fluff need to be made out of Polyester which barely light up.
Also the Strips do not Produce enough heat

U need a RGBIC Strip. Normal ones can Not reproduce thunder patterns or Different colours at the same time.
Also dont buy a cheap strip since they die real quick. And u cannot simply change LED Strip in such a build.

in India, we use ceiling fans, so they will be sucked by the fan

Be careful as those strips warm up....
Might wanna try not have the fluff touching it directly.
The fluff need to be made out of Polyester which makes it almost unflamable.
Also... The LED Strips barely get warm. They can lit up nothing. Except there is a failure which causes the strip to burn itself.
But thats why u buy bettet Strips. Also the cheaper ones often die really fast and the whole thing is not build to simply replace a strip
