  • In this video I'll be sharing my thoughts on Warframe's latest major content release, Whispers in the Walls. While it doesn't provide an exceptionally long campaign experience, it's packed full of substance, and opens up a new story arc for Warframe moving forward. Enjoy! 🍻

I personally loved this update, its gets me so excited for the content to come, both story like you mentioned, but also gameplay.
The new faction is very fun, the mechanics of the murmur enemies are very unique compared to other factions, they also dodge the issue of the infested by having very obvious and unique weakpoints which I consider a good thing considering the increased number of "on headshot" effects we have been getting, including incarnons. Im also excited at potentially getting actually difficult content from this point forward considering the secret boss this update was a very promising look at more raid-like content that could be possible.

Whispers really was an exceptional expansion on all fronts! It will be interesting to see how DE approaches endgame content moving forward. I know it's been a pain-point for a lot of long time players, and it would be great to see some activities added that could engage the portion of the playerbase that has essentially seen it all and done it all. 👍🍻

I feel like the music was also absolutely amazing in this quest. Warframe's OST is vastly underrated in general, and this quest/tileset just raised the bar higher. And in general Warframe's sound design is also amazing and underappreciated, especially the Eldritch voice of the Man in the Wall.

The music really was fantastic! DE has always done a great job in this respect, but it feels like they just keep getting better and better! 😁👍

I really appreciate that you went spoiler free for this, given that it's such new content. I've been trying to catch up on other games as of late, so I haven't had a good chance to drop back in since this expansion hit. I'm about at the point where I'll have a little free time between other games though, so this video was a good reminder that I should hop back on to see the new content.

I did figure that it was for the best to go more "general" with my approach with this video. Even the mere thought of spoiling such an interesting campaign experience for someone would have kept me up at night! 😅 I really hope you enjoy your time with it when you get a chance to squeeze it in! 👍🍻

Lmfao. We returned to warframe at exactly the same time xD. Content drought? Lets play the neverending grind instead! Anyway. Wispers left me with way more questions than answers, almost as jarring as the abrupt start to the new war.

Haha! I didn't ever anticipate finding my way back to Warframe, but I was in desperate need of a break from Destiny. I really crave a sense of progression in video games, and Destiny really wasn't scratching that itch for me as of late. Warframe is one hell of a grind, but I'm definitely not in short supply of things to do that will move that progression needle! 😁🍻

Hi, I've never paid any attention to this game before, is it a single player pve story driven game only or can you play with friends? What are there to do after the campaign is completed? Are there end game contents similar to raids and dungeons.

Warframe is a tough game to break down. Many describe it as an "MMO Lite," and functions in a similar way to Destiny in the sense that you can team up with other players to complete missions, or play the game solo if you so choose. The play loop is basically: complete missions, collect loot, become stronger, complete more difficult missions.
The story campaigns, while very well crafted, aren't necessarily the sole focal point of the game since they don't release all that frequently (at least in comparison to Destiny 2's seasons). It mainly circulates around the loot grind. As far as the end game goes...there's certainly aspirational content to reach for, but not quite on the grand scale of Destiny's dungeons or raids.
In my opinion, it's definitely a game that's worth looking into, especially with it being free to play. I'll be the first to admit, it's not a game for everyone, but it has a lot to offer to those who enjoy it! 😁🍻

Unfortunately the endgame is a bit up in the air as of right now, there are a lot of activities you can participate in outside of story content, weekly activities like archon hunts or nightwave challenges, and there are a lot of things you can grind for like new weapons or new warframes, or new mods you can put on those frames and weapons.
The game unfortunately suffers from feature creep which can make it very confusing to new players, but if it sounds like your kind of game I highly recommend it. It is free after all.

i would prefer if story quest reviews have spoilers. i don't really see the point of a spoiler free review of a quest, as most people who watch these reviews have already played the story.
