Good vid man! Run your 0-60 test in 4Hi! Itll be better accelleration and quicker times. I'm curious to see the ripp rig do it with 4Hi.
Hey there, I have installed the Magnuson SC on my 2013 Auto with no probs. Now I want to fit a cold air intake as well. The 1st intake I installed was too close to the alternator, about half an inch in fact so I was worried about it hitting back of the alternator. I took it out but still want to fit a CAIntake. The companies have no idea. That's why I'm asking If you recommend an intake kit that will fit better on a JK with the Magnuson SC is installed?
good comparison on 0-60... do more of them with other units if y'all have the opportunity.
Which supercharger setup do you like driving more?
Which one seems to have more torque down low?

Good video. I care only about torque between 2 and 3K. My Rubi isn't my tool of choice for speed but I'd like to tow a trailer on hilly sections of freeway without shifting out of 6th. I believe the Maggie takes the cake for low RPM torque. That's what the Jeep needs more of anyway. The stock 285 HP should be enough for anyone. It just needs more grunt in the lower revs.
Sprintex. It's the best one that gives you the lower torque.
Can you maybe get the dyno results of the Ripp and Magnuson kits on 37s?

Ive been looking publicly for a hemi to race for over a year. Its listed on forums with thousands of views. Not one hemi has stepped forward.
@@jeeplab4601 That's because they know it's not worth it for all the money they spent on their Hemi swap. These superchargers are at or near whp of a 6.4 swapped Jeep. The 6.1 and 5.7 guys don't stand a chance. Lol
What elevation are you guys testing at? My 2013 2dr is running a 7.95 0-60 at just over a mile above sea level without a supercharger.
This is sea level in NJ. And its a lifted 4 door with 35s.
The magnuson is a better put together kit for longer like and daily driving
Yep+ Support after the sale huge company OE supplier (used to be w TRD) they can/will rebuild blower 5-10 yrs from now after its been flogged for 100k+ miles...intercooler parts etc; had one installed on my '17 4runner totally love it. Yha other kits out there for 4runner w a little more power but good luck down the road.
I have a RIPP supercharger and had a whole bunch of problems with it, plus the folks at RIPP have been pretty unresponsive to both me and my mechanics. In fact, we never got the controller we ordered. I am pulling this rotten piece of junk off my Jeep and either going with the Magnuson or the Edelbrock.

For the second time in the last year or so, the RIPP needs a major expensive rebuild.
My usage in the last year has been nominal by the way, with mostly light four-wheeling.
Thank you for your honesty most guys won't admit when gear they have put on sucks. I have her to get any power out of the ripp you have to drive it like you stole it.
Good gawd that is slow. How are you getting high 7's with 400 HP? How much slop is in these tranny's ? This totally turned me off spending 10K for a blower.
tire size might be a problem
Lame My 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara 2 door6speed Manuel almost stock except for a little aftermarket catback different muffler exhaust, and fuel to air/Spark ratio for around 43 more HP and 31 lb more of torque to the actual wheels and gets 0 to 60 in 6.2 with just me 33 inch M/T MILESTAR PATAGONIA tires with stock 3.21 gear's with 4.55 I would probably do 60 in 5.5 seconds
Ok so I have a 13 JK with a Mag on it. I am pretty disappointed in the performance gain BUT I suspect that my problems lie more in the tranny than in the supercharger. Do you have any programming suggestions for the auto shift points??? even some guidance, as to WHO EXACTLY to ask this question of . I appreciate ANY help, as I have already been soaked for the purchase price. I believe in superchargers, I just think this vehicle must need to be properly calibrated, and that is beyond my scope of knowledge........ If you'd PM me, that would be great! dhhd94@gmail,com
