- We spent a couple days with the amazing crew over at Rebel Offroad and found a little bit of that power we had lost with all of our upgrades to Kate. The end result was a fire breathing rig who didn't feel like she weighed 7000lbs.

Huge thanks to Bond, Josh, Taylor and the crew at Rebel Offroad.

It would be nice to see a follow up video to this video. Was it worth it? I believe you have an engine swap planned. Do you think it was the supercharger that shortened the life of your motor?
It’s cool to see how it all comes together. Nice install.
JEEP GENERATION thank you!
BIG THANKS FOR HELP WITH TRYING TO ADJUST IDLER PULLEY TO FIX SQUEAKING
I have this squeek. It annoys the hell out of me. Can you please point me in the right direction? What did you do to the idler pulley to fix it? Tighten it?
For as much as it costs it kinda looks cobbled together with the "twist this hose and bend that out of the way" nice touch regapping the plugs that you have to pull the intake to get to, I'm sure replacing them cost too much after what that kit cost
Blaablaaablaaa tell me you're broke without telling me you're broke. It's a great kit and worth every penny.
Between the radiator bushing bs and hacking up the radiator fan housing, i agree that things could be done better for it being a $5500 kit. If you can fit a 90* v8 in there, there's gotta be a way to build a v6 super charger kit that doesn't require hacking the fan and de-isolating the radiator from the rad support.
i just did the RIPP on the 3.8 and it is slightly different... only thing I see from the 3.6 install I dont like is the radiator bushings.. that isolates the rad from vibrations. I would be concerned about leaks later :(
that said the ripp is a super nice upgrade and with the power the 3.6 has already I am sure it is fun to drive
3.8 so much easier to work with, especially the coil and plug replacement.
I’ve been running my 3.8 Ripp for a couple years on the original engine in my 2010 JKR and love it. Just passed 362,000 miles on the engine and ~30,000 on the SC.
Makes me love my Magnuson Supercharger so much more, this install with cutting up multiple parts, removing the radiator bushing and placing it in a terrible spot makes me glad I never got this POS RIPP. Thank god
You mean the Jeep feels amazing...
Looking at doing a RIPP on my 2011 JK 3.8. A different engine setup, for sure. Did the Jeep seem to perform perfectly directly from install? Or did you need to take it in for tuning?
I noticed the “moveover” of the intercooler as the “Ripp” insignia is not seen entirely through the grille, bit of a bummer, my OCD is bothered by it. Surprised no CEL from that temperamental Pentastar.
Great video
Thanks brother!
I HATE those worm clamps, they always come loose, ALWAYS check for adjustment after a couple of days.
Whats the cost of this install?
Hello, it will work better with a custom tune, is better then DiabloSport or Superchip.
Great video thanks for sharing! Also how was the mileage after the install? Just wondering if it kills even more than it already is :). Thabks
Highway I get 13+ and day to day it’s around 10.3
Thanks for information Am trying to tighten tension pulley to stop squealing
Hope you got yours handled.
On average what’s the cost on this install? Looking into it and would love Rebel to install it
do you guys had problems with the supercharger vent plug leaking oil? i took it off twice to check if i left it loose or the copper washer was faulty but everything looked good and check levels twice and still leaking oil after 10 seconds of idle only!!!:(
Why no ripp coils
Did you have to tune or is this plug and play!
I’ve been running it with the Ripp tune since the first day she got installed.
Kate the Jeep Am waiting for it to be available for Ram 3.6...in need to tow more now and wanted the extra power. What your thoughts on if towing would be ok with this supercharger?
Need to watch this soon but in the mean time.... Is Kate manual or automatic? Thanks
6 gear manual 👊🏼
one question - is it worth the cost? The JK is gutless I have 35" tires and 3.73 gears and 28k miles - I would love an honest opinion, bc I am not putting a hemi (V8) in there. thanks vm
Gear it first, then worry about more power. Proper gearing is cheaper and you're fighting an uphill battle not being properly geared.
I am installing this system on my jeep. One question.. How the hell did yall get the belt on? I have a 3.6 and High Altitude pully as well. The belt seem like it is just a bit too short. Even with the tensioner pushed all the way down I still cant get the belt to slip over the water pump.
Were you able to get the belt on?
I’m needing to change my belt.
@@parasrph I was. It took another person to help out.
