Flau'jae, she sure has guts singing that kind of song, especially at that age. But that's what rap is all about, isn't it? :)
My other favorite was Joseph Allen - I have a weakness for blending regular singing with rap.
Hey Elora. Flau'jae's story is that her dad was a rapper called Camouflage who was offered a contract with Universal records. 2 days before he was due to sign, he was murdered. She was born a few months later and so has never known him. She wrote this song in his honour. A sad but lovely story.
Ouch, poor girl, and poor family. She really shows promise though, and it was a good song even before I knew the story of it. But considering how people are considering guns in the USA, it's sure bold of her to sing it publicly.
But I agree, it's a sad but lovely story.
well Flau'jae (14-Year-Old) - Put Your Guns Down! - Original - USA had some pretty heavy rhymes for a 14 tear old thats for sure and i am no Eminem expert but the first one seemed slow to me ..... much love from hamilton ontario canada
