If anyone's interested I put a couple of presets up on the Source Audio site. One of which is a nice ambient long spring with the option for tremolo via switch that has some volume boost so you don't dip volume when trem's engaged. I think I called it "Long Spring plus Trem with Boost" or something like that. Cheers!
@@chordsoforion It's in the Neuro app. It's actually called "Big Ed's Long Spring Plus Trem Boost". If you have the optional Source Audio switch it turns the trem on and off as well.
Here is a direct link to your preset. neuro.sourceaudio.net/preset/btxXkf97VE Feel free to send us UA-cam or Soundcloud clip of you using the clip and we'll embed it in the preset listing (it will show up in the little box that's on the right side of the listing).
I am interested what the difference between this and the Source Audio Ventris outboard Spring or True Spring with a Mod added as the second engine using Tremolo would be directly compared. If its similar, might be better value getting the Ventris if you also want more reverb options. I have been seeing a few more used ones pop up and I love my Ventris! Great video as always!
Wayyyyyyyy better than the Flint. Trust me, strymon is overrated as all hell. Source Audio has absolutely nailed a spring tank in a pedal. I've tried everything out there, believe me. I use a ventris which has these built in, but if you just want those two effects, you can't beat the True Spring
The reverb sounds great but there's something very linear about the way it tails off, you can hear the signal bouncing back and forth along the spring so to speak without any curve to it. Maybe it's just me.
Doesn't this pedal NOT have analog clean signal through? I heard it converts your entire signal digital and then recreates it. No bueno for me. does sound great though.
Hi Chris - I checked with my contact @ Source Audio, and he said there is a digital conversion of the full signal in the True Spring (unlike the Ventris). He said this was necessary in order to implement the tremolo feature.
Excellent sounding spring verb! That stereo output makes such a lovely difference
Yeah, that's a good stomp box, love the tone.
Very lovely sounds and playing...

That's great Ed! If you want to post the direct link here, I will make sure that it gets approved if UA-cam catches it as spam.

I figured you would also be able to get to it on the Neuro Community site: neuro.sourceaudio.net/?pedal=True%20Spring%20Reverb

Excellent preset, BTW.

No difference in the algorithms. Ventris just has a thousand more options. But as far as the spring engines go, they use the same
And I absolutely love the ventris. It's probably the best pedal I've bought in the last few years easily
Hey that thing sounds great! I don’t have a reverb or tremolo pedal at the moment. How does this pedal compare to the strymon flint? Top notch video.

Shame your voice mic picks up the acoustic non amplified raw strings sound - spoils this otherwise excellent demo
Nope
I don't like your sound.
he’s losing sleep over this one pal
