It is appreciated that someone does these reviews who genuinely enjoys talking about it with joy instead of just trying to sell this crap. John is awesome at this.
*Oh wow! I really love the way the camera person kept the camera on John during the entire video because I really didn't want to see the pedal or ANY of the settings! Looks like we ALL have a big crush on John!*
No doubt, THE most impressive pedal effect I've heard in a decade, like the very pricey Strymon, but with a broader and more neutral tonal signature(¬ crazy expensive).Allowed only one pedal, this would be it for me. Could listen to John noodle all day.
Nice playing, expensive overly complex pedal, and what was with the tom foolery with pickup selection and vol tweeking when going from the pedal on to off?
The only thing true about the name is it is a LIE. So appropriate to use with a relic'd guitar and a modeling amp...into a DAW with quantization and auto tune...for the modern skill set.
John, that opening slide clip... WOW! Outstanding. Thank you so much for plugging into the True Spring, we really appreciate it.
I want to swim in the sweet wetness all day.
If there's a better sounding digital reverb then that, I've never heard it.
Source Audio has truly gifted us many a player with a permanent smile.

Thanks. I do genuinely love all things music. Play on, amigo
Amazing and graceful playing John!

Wow, that amazing grace at intro was phenomenal. Cool pedal too btw...
Great job John!
Pedal is awesome
Definitely on my radar.
Intro is sublime.
John the opto tremolo is choppier, while the bias has a smoother effect. Great playing and great sounding pedal!

Ride on man!
Inspiring methinks.
Yessss the Bohlinger Rug on the first look!
Is this a new pedal? I already owned this in 2018.
But it's one of the best spring reverbs i'v owned!
The pedal is cool and all, but that rendition of Amazing Grace just took me to church. 👍👍
By the title, I thought it had real springs. Not the case, right? Just digital? If so, I’ll keep my VanAmps.
Yes, it's digital. Though, to my ears, the best digital iteration of spring reverb I've ever heard.
It's the True Spring engine from Source Audio's flagship Ventris Dual Reverb pedal, with a few extra goodies thrown in there.
Sooo I should sell my flint?
this kills flint
@@davidgoldsteen6995 I take it you have both? Please show me your comparison vid?
Harmonic vibrato, like a magnatone amp. Bias trem like a vox or princeton.
Nice playing, expensive overly complex pedal, and what was with the tom foolery with pickup selection and vol tweeking when going from the pedal on to off?
Is it expensive though? It contains an award winning trem in it also and has tons of functionality
@@krispatel1 Compare to Oceans 11 or Keeley Verb o Trem
@@shckltnebay this is far more advanced in both algorithms and quality of converters/processors
Krish Patel I take it you have all three and have sonically compared them?
Krish Patel EH and Keeley are tiny co’s and can’t afford those high end da to ad converters lol
Rug!

For the record, that's my 1955 Strat, factory refinished in the 1960s... not a big fan of relics,
Lmao what a dumb comment.
