As I’ve been saying, “let ‘em doubt Oklahoma”…that’s only going to make the wins that much better. Sure, OU has struggled, but they’re undefeated, regardless. Some of the injured players are recovering and are coming back, so that’s just getting the Sooners closer to being back to what was intended.
I didn’t think OU would beat Texas last year. Our oline wasn’t much better than now coming into that game. We couldn’t run the ball and Texas had an outstanding dline and a loaded oline and offense. We man handled their oline and ran effectively against their defense. We won a game that wasnt near as close as the final score. Our defense is better this year, much better. Offense isn’t as good today but we saw signs in the Tulane game of improvement. With returning players on offense and our best Cheetah playing, we could see a much better offense and defense.
That’s because OU treats the RRR like their Super Bowl every year; your coaches steal days from preparing for that weeks opponent to prep for UT, each week. Then your team implodes usually against easier teams you should’ve beat, each season.
I think OU has played a very vanilla game plan up to this point. The injuries suck but players are getting healthy. Nico is a very young player and I don't think he will be prepared for whats gonna hit him in Norman. I have OU winning by 3
There was a moment in NC State game when it was 7-3 that NC could have taken the momentum and it had Tenn rattled a little bit and if it was a dog that had a bite Tenn would have went down. Tenn is young and Bret’s gonna expose it.
Our o-line is still beat up and we have no idea how healthy Anderson or Anthony isx never mind the patch work O-linemen. OU could lose big just depends on injuries hence the love for tenn
I think it will come down to if the defense can keep Tennessee to field goals and not touchdowns and the offense can find a way in the end zone about 3 times
outsider: if az could outscore ou than so can tenn. - in 2024. ik '24 ou d' is way better - but tenn.'s '24 d' is also measurably improved. imo ou won't be able to muck the game up. tenn., w the better of 2 hypey QBs, wins by 8 bc ou loses in a trackmeet. '24 tenn.? '23 az but w better & more athletes on d' that complement a potent offense. is it a flex if ou loses by less than the point spread? '24 tenn.: better than that vols squad that squandered a 17-3 lead at norman.
It seems to me that OU should just forfeit and forget even bothering to play the game. We are gonna get beat so bad according to all the Vols fans, many of the Sooner “fans” and most of the talking heads. We don’t even have a chance; right? Better fasten your seatbelts ‘cause I think BV has got a big surprise or two waiting.
OU's only chance of winning is keeping TN's offense off the field and wearing their defense down. if OU can have sustained drives and score on most of them then OU wins. If not its going to get ugly.
I’m not a betting man, but If I was, this would be the game to bet on. OU barely won all 3 of their games and their last game, finally made a 3rd for 1st down. Just the 3rd down statistics says it all. I’m expecting a major woodshed moment. Heavy underdog is an understatement. They are going to get the butts kicked. And yes, Im an okie. Were a house divided, wife is a strong UT fan. I expect another butt whopping when we play Texas.
The trouble on 3rd downs has been atrocious. We'll see how much having 3 offwnsive lineman vack, and top 2 receivers back helps. It will definitely help, but aim not sure how much.
@@tjhodge201 I take it that you’re not up on Oklahoma’s record against the current SEC teams? They’ve more than doubled their wins vs losses. Whether they’re in the Big XII or the SEC, they come to play and have set several records while doing so.
@jeremyyates9379 I take it your not up to date on your own teams lack of a Running back the QB leading rusher...also all the injuries on O Line and Receiver ..one more thing we have Nico the better QB and Huepel the better coach!!!
I honestly don't see us losing this game. It's not because all the talking heads are saying the same thing the other turd is, it's because of the depth, speed and conditioning! The NC state vs tulane argument is petty AF! It's easy to say that once it's all over talking about the past. Regardless of what you think or say, we smashed the piss out of a #23 team and you guys were way to close to two teams that should have been handled by halftime and almost got beat! You fellas are seeing this through rose colored glasses! There's no way your lacking offense is going to blow our guys of the ball on D! This isn't the last two times we played. How would you guys pick this game if it were in Neyland? I just don't see ou beating us, I do see it being a good close game, but if Nico is left to pass at will, it's going to get out of hand quick! Your D is going to have to bring the smoke to our O line which is 3-4 men deap all across the line, the same goes for our D line. I'm picking Vols 47-19 just because bv had planned on coming to the sec next year, so all his pieces aren't in place to handle us this year, and mabey next. It's going to surprise you, and we always get underestimated and make folks pay for it! GBO

38-16 OU...BOOMER!!

Yes very vanilla….and you gave up NINE SACKS against powderpuff teams.
9 SACKS!
Boomer!!

Correct. Plus they had two interceptions and they ran one back for a touchdown.
@@PassportBroHacks 🤝
Nico stats are insane and they are not over three games. Nico has played one quarter, 1/2, and one quarter. Nico stats are for one game not three.
@dominiconealbrown4248 Josh Huepel will show his old Team Oklahoma their mistake in firing 🔥 him and Oklahoma will take Legendary L
OK, now we have comedians in the sec! Were you saying that about ou with tulane.

Josh Pate said the game was gonna be close and that OU would cover
Tennessee's defensive line is going to destroy the entire Oklahoma football program.
Y'all ain't ready
45-13 Vols
I don't think the game will even be close.

OU will be a better opponent. This game will not be a blow out. They have a slim chance to win. There are alot of unknowns for both teams.
Tennessee - 42 OU - 10
LOL!
Uh no
prove it on the field

Why weren’t u guys on locked sec? That was just mostly them talking crap about ou the whole time.

I’m sick of people comparing our wins to oklahomas wins the difference is Oklahoma barely won their games we blew every body out.
You blew trash. Teams we beat would beat teams you beat. Just saying.
I'm not sure why tgat bithers you so much. We see the actual game tomorrow to settle it.
TN 38 OK 14 blow out and a great welcome to the SEC!!! 😊
Like app st blow out S. Alabama ?
