Thanks for speaking on Mental illness! It definitely needs to be talked about more.
Well said! Mental illness is just like a physical illness. Stigma around mental health is strong and needs to stop 🛑
This 👏🏽👏🏽
And depression and anxiety is the sprained ankle of mental illness. No one wants to see OCD or Schizophrenia. That is where the real stigma is about.
Great presentation Michaela, thank you.
Great presentation Michaela Mulenga
Well done and said, Michaela! Great understanding and insight on mental illness and the stigma that surrounds it.
Awesome video and wonderfully said
Great presentation. Here in the United States, this type of talk would be good for middle school and high school age children. The overwhelming need to fit in is a dangerous thing for us all. Don’t suffer in silence!! Pay attention, be patient and be supportive!
I think of severe depression as the absolute absence of hope.
Awosome job and well presented
I love this video
Great speech!
Great presentation
Great work!
My uncle doesn't understand that my disability is mental illness. He has a physical disability and thinks I'm just being 'lazy'. (I have OCD and psychosis)
Same with my uncle here
Same with my uncle.
Keep up!!Great presentation
If I can change one thing it would be to not have every representative of mental illness stigma be about depression and anxiety. And I suspect most of these depressed anxious young adults come from relative wealth privilege and power.
I feel very stigmatized
My mental illness, which include sleep disorder (both symptoms and causations) since 9 years old. Now my mental illness contribute to my ALS,
which cause my paralysis. One day my nerve damage will cause organs failures, usually the lungs and suffocate to death.
So is real, mental illness cause biological destruction.
😢😢😢😢
The people who have mental illness stigma does a diet plan is a big role and exercise .
You seem to have the cart before the horse: It is those taught and teaching that prejudice whom we ought be addressing. They got into your head, they did not get into mine.
The mental world is a torture for me
I’m so sorry you are struggling please reach out to get therapy or to friends and family having that support group helps so mivh
I m paralyzed partially due to mental illness. So is very real. The death nerve cells in brain and spinal cord causes the partial paralysis. My mental illness begun in my childhood.
I don't do drugs or alcohol. So us real.

what happened to this video?
The stigma? The stigma begins with the psychiatrists themselves. They're the ones who do the stigmatizing.
Started with a fallacy.
