I am a new UA-camr who is praying fervently to be recommended because my channel is not doing well and it’s really frustrating.
You're absolutely right, i uploaded a video 5 days ago, it wasn't quite better than the previous that i uploaded 5 months ago, but the way Algorithm pushed it was insane, it got 18.05K impression within three days and in comparison with the one i posted 5 months ago stuck within the range of 100 views, i couldn't understand why it happened like that but thank you for letting me know, i believe that since now on, I'm gonna put more efforts in uploading several videos before this opportunity goes to an end.

Agree with you, small channels are in Favorable for exposure. Especially UA-cam short, it’s bringing the subscribers for me . Great video and Ipray this year is my year.

I don't completely agree that they are focusing more on smaller channels. They also focus equally on big channels. Likely you rightly put it, hand in hand. I believe it depends on the niche and what is trending in all niches. And also consistency, keywords, and serving your audience rightly. I still see smaller and big Channel's struggle. My thoughts, though 🤷

Nice video, but check some of those channel you called small channel, most of them is a new channel from a big channel owner...so the algorithm is recommending them based on image recognition
That is not correct. 90% of them are from new or small creators on UA-cam

I am a video editor but here i notice video editing part ...video editing can convert your content to Next Level and Viral if your videos look attractive then you can get huge engagement and convert your revenue/channel growth 5x more. I also do Thumbnails design, Video SEO and I am a video editor. If your say then i will do for it with 100% satisfaction, its not video editing it about telling a story about your self business or may be the world around in today's everyone try to tell there own story but sometimes words are not enough and the come video editing

In Ghana now we can't verify our UA-cam channel. Because of that i have to stick to my old channel which is about 2 year's old and am not getting views i have just posted 2 videos and i have zero views. Asking my self weather i will get views

Am starting a cooking channel soon but i saw sonewhere i dont know if it was your content, that cooking channel is not advisable for content creating o youtube . Can you give a good reason sir. That is the only idea i have cooking is something i love to do .
There are big cooking channels... There is no niche that cannot blow up here on UA-cam. Not everything you see online you will believe though. Just do your thing. Good luck

@@MeloveJoan, if you are referring to a video I discussed about niches to avoid, you are correct. It is one thing to start something you are passionate about and get frustrated along the way because you are spending more and not getting anything in return.
However, that doesn't mean your case will be the same. It is important to be aware of what you are about to try so that whichever way it turns out, you already know from the beginning.
