Looks good, but you did one thing wrong. On your chain adjusting bolts, the locknut tightens against the swingarm, not against the back of the adjusting bolt. This holds the bolt from rotating in the swingarm. Once you get the chain adjusted properly, you just hold the adjusting bolt with a wrench and snug the locknut against the swingarm with another wrench to hold the adjustment in place. Then tighten your axle nut.
We live and we learn that's what these bikes are for is to learn without much risk of killing yourself doing so. By the way the stock chain adjusters suck anyways I got the decent ones that don't fall out all the time.
Will the swingarm work on the Monkey? I think it’s dimensionally the same perhaps you can Clarify that as to what parts would work for either bike. Ty in advance and I like a lot of your vids
Looks like they just came out with a new one for the 2022 and it has the mounting tabs for the rear hugger. It also has some very nice chain adjusters.
@@eastcoastish I’m still pondering getting one. I’ll likely do it whenever I run out of things to buy. 😂 Speaking of rear hugger….. and fenders. I asked TYGA if they were going to do some for the ‘22 and maybe in satin. I sent a pic of the Yosh dual and said I wanted to match it. Not only did they say they would make some for me, they asked if I wanted them to use a twill weave like the exhaust has. How cool is that? I decided though that I want a little bit darker fenders so I’m going to do gloss hugger, fender, and rear set heel guards in a twill weave to match the exhaust. 🤟
Man you should see the single sided swing arm they make!!! If your doing it for looks that would have been the better route looks wise you should look it up they make a sweet product
Also you should put weight on the bike so its at ride height with you on it then tighten the swing arm bolt or you will be over twisting the rubber swing arm bushing when the bike uses upward travel.
Hi mate, I know you’ve purchased the swingarm from webike, but any chance you drop the link. I want to make sure I get the right one, can’t get this one wrong. Appreciate your help. And your bike looks amazing
No, because it also doesn't have the lower shock mounts that you'd need for the Monkey suspension. Check out Webike though, I know G-Craft, Over Racing and Takegawa all make swingarms for the Monkey.
Thanks for the feedback, I didn't realize the mid-roll ads were so frequent. I've removed them from this video and will use them sparingly going forward.

That makes sense, thanks!
This guy has made mistakes in all his vids. On the cam install he set the cam timing on the ignition fire mark.

Hey Kent. Shouldn't the second adjustment but be tightened the other way? Just because it'll lock that bolt in from vibration of the bolt to loosen.
Yep :) thanks for pointing that out.
New video on the Honda Grom letsss goo!!!

I see now no shock mount tabs. So hopefully they make a monkey model. I’ve wondered about a few other Grom parts like exhausts for example
G-Craft sells Monkey 125 swingarms. Check out Webike.
Great videos… do you have any idea where I can get custom headlights similar to steady garage. Thanks
Also can’t wait to see the new Yoshi pipes please share as I haven’t fitted mines yet waiting for the high mount pipe
Do u know if all years fit all years? I found a 5” extended swingarm but it says 2014 to 2020 but it looks the same.

Nice! I was probably going to ditch the mudguard anyway but it's great that you can get one with it if you want to keep it on.

Would I have any issues running the fatty wheel combo? Seems like it’s kinda narrow.
I would love to buy your exhaust when you get your new one!!!
I drilled and taped holes in the swing arm and made little angel brackets so I could mount the fender.
What size is that swing arm bolt?
Would the tst chain adjusters work with this swingarm?
No, they're for the stock swingarm.
What the website or link where I can purchase thank you@
japan.webike.net

This swingarm uses bearings and doesn't have the rubber bushings.

Hey Kent, great to see some new videos! Do you know if that swing arm will fit the 2021 monkey? Without using the bracket for the rear shock.

nice im gonna build a swingarm onto my 212cc mini
Well done mate
Side view of whole bike would have been nice.😔
Good point. I'll be getting those new Yoshi pipes soon and will be sure to get lots of side view shots!
Power pure tires do not work well for racing,
Advert within first one and a half mins... I’m outta here..
