Thank you Anja! Diagrams and I are not friends. I see scribbling on a paper. I watched this video twice. I'm going to have to watch it again and go very slow. Life goal is to make this pattern with this video! I did learn that the lines through the line means yarn over. Progress!!! I have always thought of diagrams as evil! LOL I will conquer the evil one day! 😂😂😂

Thank you, Anja! Diagrams have always looked like some kind of hieroglyphics to me, lol. I'll have to watch more to finally get it, but this has me wanting to try!

Hello Anja, for me as a german it is difficult to follow a written pattern in english. Much easier for me is to crochet from a diagram. English and german diagrams are the same. A dot (for example) is a slip stich in english and a Kettmasche in german. Thats the same.
Thank you for this interesting video and greetings from Germany

Enjoyed watching that but nowhere near ready to crochet direct from diagram! I might be able to give it a go if I had a written pattern as well - that last round would have confused me no end🤔 But it’s great that you’re showing us and I would love to see more, I need to learn to think outside the box - thank you 😊

Yes, I loved this video and was getting it until the last row, then I lost you. If you didn't explain that start of last row I would not have know which way to go! I'm not giving up! I love this way better than a written pattern.

I would love if you did that. I can read patterns ok, but diagrams are a new skill for me. So the more instruction the better. With the last round, maybe they wanted you to fasten off and start in the corner? Is there a symbol for fastening off?

You said the handle of the hook was wood so all you have to do is take a file and make a flat spot where you want to put your thumb to hold it. I have done that before and it worked for me. Just a thought if it’s something you might want to do.

Hi Anja many Many thanks from me for this special Video, because a Diagramm was for me before Your Video a horror Thing, i have Dont understand what the hyroglyphs signs are means. 🤷‍♀️But Your Translation such a Diagramm is for me as a knot opens in my head or all the time you have stand still on a line Do you know what i mean.😉 And allone for that i must say a big thank you to you. You say in this Video that you like diagramms ok but Not every Diagramm is so easy and clear like this, isnt it. Many diagramms a very confusing and difficult, and thats the Thing that i prefer also for the future the written patterns thats for me easyer and clearer in many ways when i take the time for the beginning to read it line by line and thats realy very important that i have learned. Oh i hope you understand my awful english, sorry Anja. But a simple and easy Diagramm is now also Not a Problem for me with Your Video and if i remember the meaning of the simbols. You make all Your Videos so simple and understandable for everyone and thats realy great, by the way i love Your way and naturaly how you Do this. Thanks Anja from the bottom of my heart now i mayby have the Courage to crochet a pattern with an Diagramm. Many nice greetings to you from Augsburg germany. ❤️❤️😊😊

You can understand dutch: het is mooier om in hoeken te beginnen met een nieuwe ronde. Ik heb ook anders geleerd van mijn moeder, maar van Mike van the crochet crowed heb ik geleerd om in hoeken te starten..veel mooier

I know this is from 3 years ago! but I have to comment, I LOVE diagrams and it is a double bonus if a written pattern goes a long with it. 🥰🧶🌻
