This is so amazing. The voices that come together here is so beautiful!! So I really enjoy this! How great it is that there are six of them here. Wonderful!
What a beautifully arranged job by Chris. The guys frequently collaborate with each other on their individual channels. It was great seeing them all sing together. Great reaction, H.B. 😊
This is so gorgeous. Arranged by Chris - and his brother Adam arranged Do You Hear What I Hear. Chris also has a behind the scenes on his channel that's interesting. You get to see what happens when an a cappella group spontaneously bursts into a totally unrelated song.
Oops. I'm sure you'll get many comments about this so I'll just get it over with since I'm the first one here: This is Chris Rupp's beautifully arranged song on his channel, featuring Home Free and should be given top billing. Also, It was Adam Chance who joined when Chris left, not Austin Brown. There. That's done. Now to your reaction to the video. I enjoyed the genuine pleasure in your reaction. I still miss Chris's distinctly styled chords and progressions. He is a master of arrangers. Home Free is the best vocal band.Great reaction.
I knew that I was just testing ya! hahaha Thanks for straightening me out! I'll get it figured out or I know someone will have the knowledge...Thanks!!
This is such a beautiful performance! I’m so glad they did it. We got to hear Home Free with both Chris and Chance! As for the recording, they did record in studio, and then sing along to a track for the video. It’s easier to do it that way, and you end up with a more polished product. I saw some BTS video from this one, and there was a lot echo going on in that tunnel.
BTW, "What Child is This" is the same melody as "Green Sleeves". There's an earlier video which came out just before their having won the Sing Off was announced, called "Joy to the World Hosannah". It was filmed in the Rupp's home town of Mankato, Minnesota. Chris & Austin were in the group together from about 2012-2016; however, there's only one other video with Chance & Chris "White Christmas".
Love this 6 part harmony! It is awesome! Chris arranged this song. The brothers Rupp are so talented. Adam arranged Do You Hear What I Hear. They would have to have microphones in front of each of them in order to have recorded this in the cave.
Such a beautiful rendition of the song. So nice to hear Chris. Chris Rupp and his brother Adam are the ones who founded Home Free but Chris left to go solo after 16 years. Chance has been a great replacement. Loved Tim’s lows in this and those harmonies are exquisite. Good one HB!😍🥰
Thanks for the mention, Hillbilly! 😘 The harmonies in this one are simply breathtaking. We normally get excited for the 5-part harmony whenever Adam joins in the singing, but in this one (particularly at the end), you're hearing all 6! *swoons* (I guess people are still allowed to swoon! Lol)
This is the only video where Chris Rupp and Adam Chance perform together but it is not the only one they're both in. 1) Chance is one of the guests that Austin invites over his girlfriend Olena's place in Home Free's cover of Sam Hunt's House Party. This was before Chris left the group. Chance and Tim's wife Jenika have been friends for a long time, before either of them had even met Tim, so he was part of their circle beforehand. 2) In their video for It Looks Good Tim, Rob, and Austin are at the bar with their ladies Jenika, Kelsey, and Olena. When the guys are around the pool table Chris can be seen in the background to the right, chatting and dancing. And 3) White Christmas. Chance is part of the group when they're singing. When they switch to the house where everyone is cooking and setting up the table to sit down to Christmas dinner both Chris and Chance are in the circle exchanging presents. Rob's good friend and podcast partner Eric Beugler is there too, cooking the turkey. Such a happy and fun video.
This was recorded in studio, and they do have a behind the scenes video of the making of this video and the guys goofing off (as they do). It's fun to watch.
This has to be my very favorite Christmas video ever! So beautiful! And few reactors know about it, let alone react to it! Thank you so much for reacting to it! ❤
LOVE this arrangement--especially the bell tones and Chris' and Chance's duet. The clarity of every voice is just magnificent❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

What she said. LoL
Chris co-wrote the songs on his band Cypress Fyre upcoming album. Such an awesome singer and writer. I love all his arrangements specially this!

Beautiful 😍
Once you eventually get through your list, go back to their channel and find the ones you haven't done yet. You really don't want to miss any of them.
