ABOUT ME
Hi I'm Loui! I am an adventurer at heart who loves to share every step of the way. My travels so far ,via camper van, jeep camper, motorbike ,and foot, have taken me all over North America and Southeast Asia. I started this channel in 2019 in hopes of inspiring other people like me who didn't exactly grow up living an adventurous lifestyle and who might be afraid to get started on their own adventures. Since then, it has turned into something that I very passionate about. So, stick around to see the journey unfold!

Nice to see two of my favorite people enjoying time exploring!!! Thanks for taking us along 💖
Great, makes me happy to see you two together again 😃Only missing the dogs
You did a great job on this video, Loui, showcasing your adventures in Hanoi. Thank you for taking us along.
Lovely to see you and FF exploring together.
I'm excited for part two!
ill be honest, there are very few other things in life that i appreciate seeing more than foresty exploring anything but a mountain alongside another human being. all the love to you and foresty regardless of your dynamic
Had to watch twice! There's so much visual going on in Hanoi! Your enjoyment makes me want to visit, too! Thanks Loui!
This is such a great video, the food tour was awesome.
This was an absolute joy to watch-one of my favorite videos from Loui so far! The energy, the food, and the vibrant slice of Vietnam made for such an intoxicating ride. Seeing Foresty Forest out of his element and fully embracing the experience was a treat - I found Loui through Foresty’s channel, and he’ll always be our first van life love and also someone I know the internet knows must be protected and loved at all costs. And, what a duo-hope to see more of this!
Awesome video, you guys made my week… You both look so relaxed and happy and your environment there in Vietnam was so colorful and nice. The people seemed very peaceful.
What a culture shock for Simon. From the busy streets of Hanoi to the quiet isolation of van life in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Thanks for bringing this video to us.
I’m still waiting for you two to get married. Just sayin.
After all that food, Simon was like "I need a bigger pressure cooker!" 🙂
About a year ago you guys were buried in a blizzard in Truckee. Now you're on a yummy food tour in Vietnam. 😂
Life really does surprise you sometimes haha
Man that guy in the jean jacket crossing the road... When Simon said it was like real life frogger he wasn't kidding!
The everyday traffic there is an adventure all on its own. Always good to see you two doing videos together.
Dang, that food looks delish!!!
15:38 This is mind boggling. We have no idea about the organized chaos in some countries regarding traffic, pedestrians. Loui you should clip this into a Short.
Extraordinary Trip! The fact you got to go with Simon😍 He makes everything better! I bet when he got home he slept for 2days and didn't want to see another person for atleast a week. Safe Adventures
Awesome trip, all that food looked delicious! I hope you get a chance to see Angkor Wat before you leave the area, suppose to be beautiful. Nice to see Simon in another country, but he does seem out of his element a little lol! He's breath's fresh snow and Mountains are his lullaby, I wish he stayed a little longer.
Yes headed to Cambodia in a couple weeks!! I’m stoked to see Angkor Wat. Girl math states that if you fly to one SE Asian country you must visit at least five of them 😂
@@AdventureTimeLoui 😅 that's awesome! looking forward to seeing the adventure.
I'd follow her to Vietnam too, she's worth it ;)
Wowww Loui that whole video was amazing - all the colours, the sounds, the speed... (and the crazy anarchic traffic!!)
That night train was totally goals - absolutely beautiful.
Looking forward to the next part! 🫶🏾
Well that was fun! Smart you guys went on the food tour, it all looks good. Saved guides link for a future trip ty. Nice to see Simon enjoying himself too. Looking forward to part 2. Great idea you two! Always wanted to go to Vietnam so it's exciting to follow along. Good video! Enjoy your trip.
Good to see the buddies back together.
A lot of eating in this one.😊😊
I LOLed when I read the title to this video! Oh my, what a wonderful way to explore a new city - with a food tour. Definitely want to go to Vietnam one day VERY soon 😊 so fun joining you on your journey through SE Asia!
You will love it here when you visit!! Luv you mum
@AdventureTimeLoui 😘♥️
You two are awesome together
Loved yet another full on video...what a treat...
Love seeing you and simon together
Appreciate all the effort you put into filming, commentary and editing. Great video!
I watched this on an empty stomach....big mistake! Hanoi seems like a fascinating, vibrant city. Thanks for sharing it with us.
That is the coolest train I ever seen❤
I can't imagine a greater contrast than Rocky Mountain peaks and Hanoi - both beautiful in their own way :) Vietnamese food is my absolute favourite!
food looks so delish, and that train ride was so cosy. The dynamic duo back at it again, nice trip!
Vietnam is one of my favorite countries, the food, the nature, the people, the cities, the variety. I for sure need to get back someday. Love the video as always.
OMFG, I'm soo hungry now. Food looked AMAZING. Fun to see you and Simon in different settings. Great video, Loui!
Vietnam was Bourdains favorite country to visit.
Enjoyed the video taken notes. Glad you have a friend to share the next part of your Asia adventure. Enjoy.❤
Simon looked grumpy... until... until... you put him on the NIGHT TRAIN, and then he's all smiling and happy! Maybe he just had jet lag and was shaking it off by then, or maybe he loves trains, or maybe maybe maybe he's happy that you're heading to the MOUNTAINS! But YOU Loui, you were in your element in Hanoi, so happy with the food and the chaos. Thanks for sharing it all with us!!!
Simon looks miserable and uncomfortable when he's with most people. But not Loui, he really lights up in her company. It's nice to see.
Ahaha I think that’s just his neutral face expression.😂 From what he expressed he was really enjoying the change of scenery! We were both amazed by Hanoi and really enjoyed taking it all in. 🤩
@@AdventureTimeLoui your amazement and appreciation of Hanoi really came thru on the video. Made me want to go there!
Amazing video Louie❤
Amazing. I really need to get over there one day. Everything looks incredible ❤
Amazing video! TY
We rode bicycles out of Hanoi, then back into, and finally out of again, in 2016. What a rush. But we found is that there is a zen to being another blood cell in the bloodstream of motorbikes. Not once did anybody hit us or us hit them. Highly recommend Vietnam for a bicycle tour if you like seeing a country up close and personal. That food looked amazing, now I want to go back.
Love it, definitely get to see a different side of Vietnam
Love seeing everything from the food to the scooters to the cities! Thank you so much for sharing all that you do. Also love seeing you and Simon in the same video! Safe travels!
What a fun video! Now let me go raid my fridge!! LOLOL The food looked yummy! I've seen videos of that train, but not from the inside! So cool! ❤
I can hardly.wait for the next adventure!
Not used to seeing Foresty with the backdrop of a snowy mountain
:) OMG and WOW! THANKS MUCH for sharing ! I Never knew how to eat Pho and Samiches until yo explained how to pu Mint, and Noodles in :) LOVED all the FOOD and Senior Moment ..... you are with THAT Simon ! ! ! As in Foresty ? ? ENJOY and ALL the BEST !! ! Safe travels, Cheers from PNWEst ! : )
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Thank you for visiting my country. Enjoy your adventures and stay safe.
Amazing to see how much you are eating! Very interesting
Omg, loving this video and can’t wait for the next! Safe travels!
I was so enthralled with your Hanoi video, I cried when it ended. The food looks so good and healthy. Yummmm and thank you for sharing this.❣❣❣
While I love FF's (yours also) videos. It is good to see him outa the mountains. LOL Also Vietnam looks like a beautiful country. Thank you for the tour.
Wow, looks like an amazing trip
Great video. I’ve always wanted to go. Inspired to go even more, now.
You 2 work so well together. Love the content.
I'm not sure of all that you said in your opening voice-over (because of the background music and background noise), but I'm still watching. I enjoyed this food video a lot :)
Try putting the captions on 🤷♀️
@@AdventureTimeLoui Yes. Thanks, that obvious solution escaped me (genuine)
What fun to see you enjoying so much great food. Hanoi seems not as noisy as some of the other cities you've visited. Like the audio is not overwhelmed by passing traffic and there are some quiet streets and plazas where you can walk. I'm watching you two drinking all those coffee drinks and thinking, oh my god, DON'T OVER DO IT! then of course you head to the candy store! haha
The most delicious country ever! Where you wanna go next?
Bolivia!! 🇧🇴
MY GOD I COULD EAT EVERY THING!!!
Simon!!!!!
Man I love Vietnam. I visited there and travel south to north and I agree. Hanoi is beautiful. Vibrant. Vietnamese coffee is amazing.
FABULOUS video 😊 Thank you so much!
I would absolutely love Vietnam
Thanks for sharing your trip together!
After spending a couple months in Thailand(I took 2 cooking classes) I came back and started cooking dishes from there. FYI, Pandan leaves can be bought dried and are easy to add to your rice and really adds authenticity to the dish. Enjoy!
reminds me of my navy days, i ate my way through the orient!
great video girl. Keep it up
One of my favorite places !!
It's really affordable housing for ex-pats, a lot of high rises have been built in less than 5 years, and more on the way to completion.
I love Vietnam, beautiful place. Love the food especially banh mi sandwiches & pho noodles, the culture, and the people.
Thanks for posting!
I'm here because Adventure Time Loui & Foresty Forest are Trending on....( TMZ ) 😎
So glad you and Simin made it to Hanoi. I have always heard it is a fantastic city. It is on my bucket list!
YEAH!!!! You and Foresty Forest exploring together ❤️
Great vid Loui. great to see forerty out of his element
Thanks for sharing.
Great episode ❤
Great video, My husband is from Vietnam. We had planned to go on our 40th anniversary but Covid hit and messed our plan's up. We hope to go in the near future. He was born in Saigon. Love from Clinton South Carolina. You and Simon are such a treat to on your adventures. Stay safe and Blessed
🎉🎉🎉 Thank you for sharing this colorful, edible journey!
We liked your Vietnam video so much more than Simons!! 😊 Don't tell him!!!
Everything looked so delicious!
looks like chaos to me! i guess a visit is ok, but no way would i live in that confusion! thanks for the vid loui!
Great vlog! I hope you can visit Saigon, DaNang, and Hoi An since you're in the neighborhood. Enjoy!
Thanks, I'm trying to get to as many places as I can! 😊
You are amazing and fearless. You ought to get more followers!
Thank you! Share with people you think might enjoy my videos! 🥰
Looks like fun!!
Yahoo - Foresty Forest!
To be honest, this is what community can be like if it isn't boring suburbs with everyone just in a car. The whole thing with places like vietnam is density, people walking, biking, on scooters, in buses. It's not all spread out with big parking lots, and it's legal to do a lot of things on the street -- people can make and sell food at a little stand, or they're fixing things or making things. The reason the US and Canada aren't like this is laws that prohibit cities from operating this way. Traffic flows in this same kind of chaotic way for the dutch on bicycles for example, it's really just cars that are the problem.
This was truly amazing to watch!! Thinking of those city streets and how boring things are here by comparison.
Yummy. Although I just finished my own dinner, sat down to digest and watch your latest, even on my full tummy, I now wanna go grab some spring rolls and pho at Phoholic in Westminster (Little Saigon area of Orange County). Thanks for destroying my New Years dieting resolution ;-)
Ahaha thankfully Vietnamese food I generally pretty healthy!!
Great food coverage! Be sure to bring home so Nuoc Mam ( fish sauce). Best stuff made in RVN❤ Ya hit another home run! Thanls!
I need to visit Vietnam. In SoCal I go to Westminster which is called "little Saigon" due to the high Viet population but it's too US suburban. The real deal shown here is so much cooler.
Awesome video
What a great video! Can’t wait for Part 2. The bread looked so good.
I'm glad you have company🙄😁
Thanks for sharing love it. Great to see Simmon.
Stop with the foodie video. Love you guys!!!
That was just so damn cool. Bet you two had a blast!!!! Good to see two friends enjoying a dream together, just having good time adventures…Vietnam is pretty neat..thanks for showing us the real Vietnam, not the touristy shit…… so much…..I wanna go to the candy section…..cheers….
i like your videos with forest
So much to look at, amazing.
Thank goodness i can live vicariously thru your videos because I’m missing out on so much by being afraid to leave the U.S.
Cheers fam!
When you go to cities I would love to know how much everything cost, like rent basically cost of living etc…
Pretty much everything we ate was under $2 and the hotel we stayed in was ~$20/night!
Thank you so much for the video! So glad to see you and Simon back adventuring together! Just a quick note that your narration audio was way lower than the other audio, at least on my phone. 💜
