I’m 70 yrs old and I will never own a surron but I certainly enjoyed watching your well made informative video. Keep up the good work.
Why not? I personally know guys in their late 70's riding surrons. They're really for all ages. If an 80 year old can ride a harley, you can certainly ride a surron. Just be safe and don't take any unnecessary risks. If you don't like the idea of riding on the street just throw it in the back of your car and bring it to the trails yourself. Use your retirement money to its full advantage my guy!
I ride a recumbent trike with e assist. I have achieved 85kph on a downhill run. That’s enough excitement for me.

Well this confirms what I've been hearing, that basically Surrons are awesome once you upgrade almost every single stock part.

Only electrical upgrade I have on mine is the controller(Torp) and honestly felt like enough. If you live in a city upgrading all the way is lowkey unnecessary imo

As a mountainbiker i used to hate surrons, i hated them because they were electric and i just didnt like anything with a throttle, but after finding out about Surronster's channel i started loving them, keep up the good work!
I don't hate them, but it's size is for smaller people, I would look silly on those. They should make bigger frames...

Those stunt pegs will fold back when using them because you turned the bracket they are meant to fold up not back or forward. @surronster

I think I'd also just replace the chain for reliability. A couple links you can see are not freely pivoting. A chain is the hardest-worked part of the bike after tires.

With the temp you can't just go off the external temps with your hand, the windings inside can heat up a lot faster and get to critical before the case of the motor can pull that heat away. I bet the 200C you saw was real, maybe she needs a motor upgrade as well?
highly doubt the 200c was accurate. his cutoff is set to 120c so how would it even get there. it takes a decent bit of a lot of power to get it to climb up to 200c. probably faulty sensor.
Mine was doing the overtemp cutoff with the Torp controller. Check your main connector. Probably has corrosion. They updated the plug to a better sealed plug.

The rear pegs go the other way. Having them this way, when you stand on them for a wheelie, they will fold backward and your feet fall off. Turn them back around...
My surron got stolen from my house it was def planned bc it was in a hard spot to get to. I was just getting good at combos too and I was gonna take it out first thing in the morning but it was gone, hope to get another sur ron someday, stuck with my pedal bike for now

I find the back pegs dangerous because once on them at the first acceleration the weight being pushed backwards, the feet will push them backwards and close them the best position would have been closed fold upwards and never backwards or forwards but this bike is great you managed to make me want to have one
