I'm mostly getting this over Flywoo because I'm relatively new and I don't want to durability test something that has a naked o3 on it. Happymodel flies so amazing and I think you flew it the best (smooth) out of all the reviews I've seen which shows how skilled you are. I want to freestyle but more than that I want to fly daily and anything over 3 to 4s makes it noisy so this is the sweet spot and this seems like an amazing ripper. Might take a while before I hit the ceiling of what its capable of considering how much it does in this video so well without freaking out!
Going for the nut shot at the end eh Moe? Great review though dude! I think this might be my first O3 unit quad if I decide to get one. Could even get it flying better with the Flywoo kit.

I really enjoy my Mob8 with O3. I'm using the GNB LiHV 720's (100C) and getting considerably better flights time vs the the Tattu R-Line 450's I started with. I'm getting a Crux35 (w/ Vista) next week and am excited to fly it! I've been flying with Goggles 2, 2.7K@100.

very helpful video :) i have the analog version on the way to me. Hopefully the weight saving of the analog system makes it a little more suitable for freestyle (at least for a beginner) Im already looking at the crux35 as my second quad 😂
I also have the mob 8 Analog and it is for sure a better option for freestyle! I actually really like it - a whole lot of power. Crux35 is a good choice - cheap and fast. Might be a bit more fragile then other 3.5" drones in that category though - just keep that in mind
nice flight better peformance than i thought. i have the hdzero version. what motors would you use for a upgrade? i would love bit more power on the mob 8 hdzero. greetings
Thank you very much! And this is completely stock - the only thing i really did to reduce jello is put an ND 8 filter on it but overall there isnt much if any with this Mob 8. Picture would look even better with a ND 16 or 32
Thank you! Currently it seems as though the 530 GNBs are about as much as you can fit. You can always cut off the battery tray and use a strap to use a bigger lipo though
I would hold off until Flywoo announces their pusher style drone with O3 lite - it might end up being the best option for a micro cinewhoop. I think Mob8 will still be the best choice for aggressive flying
Yes - these are completely stock settings on the quad. Very impressive! I will have a video out soon on the FLYWOO fly lens though you may want to check that out before buying anything .... ;)
I have this and agree. I was surprised how well it flew aggressively. I also have a 2nd one that is a naked flywoo. Dropped 20 grams from the vtx alone. That’s with the ultra lite way of deceasing it. It’s 20g more than the analog and with these props and motors it handles it great. Does it fly as nimble and aggressive, not quite but it’s a night and day difference from the unopened 03.
I am jealous of that decased 03! did it fit right into the molded print? I actually just picked up the flywoo fly lens with the DJI 03 lite system and im very excited to try it out and review it! Still wont be my number one choice for freestyle but a great platform

I have a Mobula 8 analog and it rips. Been flying it a ton and it’s helping with flying my 5” quad. Great trainer for me as a beginner

My mob 7 HD does the exact same prop wash.
hell even the mob8 analog has some of those issues, it's a ducted fan issue more than a o3 issue tbh
