Hell that last X-men Blue run only had Blood Storm on it and she was barley on the team, the Excalibur team is all white, X-Force is also all white, the current Thunderbolts is all white, and ect there's tons of books are exactly that .

Yea for some reason the only time things are racist is when black people do things and don't have any white people around at all.
Well everybody knows that we are the original people of the world since the beginning and the chosen race concerning who are the actual Kings in this Earth in real life. So everyone will try to discourage people away from us but the most high is keeping his promise and waking us up bringing out all the darkness into the light for the world to see who's who. It will take a little time but he's doing what he said he will do but to the most high it was like yesterday because 1000 years to us is 1 day to him.

Right? Every time something is pro Black, folks want it stomped out like a cockroach or smothered like a campire.
Having a difference of opinion doesn't make someone a hater. An all black team unless there are real reasons is segregationist and I'd say the same for an all white team if their entire reason for being together was just because they're white. If they came together within reason and they all happen to be black it makes sense. The smart way to do it is to have them either have a great friendship and not the 'I never knew you and now we're suddenly friends' type. Just have character adventures so they cross paths and help each other out, so that when you put a team together it feels natural as they already have a good relationship. i don't get what's so hard to understand about that.

It doesn't even have to be all black it could be a multiculture team that overtime recruit Caucasian people as the storyline progress would be amazing. Dr. Eliot Franklin (Genius level Physicist) aka Thunderball. They need to use this character. They forgot to draw the Wakandan Mutant Gentle.

Thunderball gets no love ever. This guy perfected what Bruce Banner couldn't. I've seen that he's been reformed, so he and Deadly Nightshade (also a genius) should helm their own Thunderbolts team sanctioned by Wakanda.
The best thing about this comic: Storm discovering a new mutant at the end. I truly hope they let Saint Bodhi or Coates write Storm’s solo series. We need someone with roots and soul to give us the tale we deserve. After Coates’ work on BP, Marvel HAS to let him write it!! Bring Oya, Darwin, Callisto, and Bling along.

I loved that you spotlighted this series, I've been patiently waiting for Coates' run to come to a conclusion so that I can purchase all issues in book/volumes (one day we'll get an omnibus, hopefully) and start reading the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda saga/arc in its entirety, and now that it has that's exactly what I'm doing. The entire story has gotten interesting af since I took a break from reading. Also, I love seeing all these badass Black heroes show support/solidarity, and to make it even better - all assembled in Wakanda.

This run has it's own unique telling of black panther and right now my guy is shining bright putting the brakes on Knull. He was the only one who actually really stood his ground well to Knull's forces. That last one with Captain Universe though - Donny has turned into the human torch and cannot be put out lol

Brother Blerd, I honestly believe that this is one of your most epic, most in-depth, most POWERFUL segments that you have EVER done. Thank you for personifying what so many of children of color have needed to understand, to inspire, and to move forward with. You were dropping "knowledge bombs" when you weren't delivering the truth behind this particular book, and I believe that this episode rings true in a way that not even you, nor I, not anyone else can understand, but perhaps we can moving forward, as a people.

If you want to be accurate to real life Egyptian gods has nothing to do with our people. Those God's in religion are pagan and originated from the 200 Fallen Angels Watchers, that came down here during the beginning of time. Before the Flood and they birthed Giants with Earthly women before THE MOST HIGH(AHYAHA, which is his name in the Hebrew look it up. Finally we have an abundant amount of black characters in not just a few panels but for its main and entire story! Whoever hating stop it. Be happy that we getting this amount of coverage for heroes that barely get any light and/or are always secondary to whatever white heroes in the same comic as them. We deserve our own light as well, love and respect to all.

I’m white and I LOVE this team AND it brought out some lesser known/used characters (I always really dig it when they do that). I want them to do an all Native American team... dealing with Native American issues
So glad this book has returned and so glad you’re covering it! I’ve loved the exploration of memory, names, and ancestors in this series. As well as the discussion of your responsibility to your people and *who* your people are. Coates’ BP got me back into comics in 2016 and now I have way too many books and my UA-cam diet is made up of Blerd and Comicbook Herald.

The difference is, the white superheroes get together because they are superheroes. The black superheroes get together because they are black. The former is just heroes being heroes. The latter is heroes being racists.

So, the real Killmonger is back? Whatever happened to Malice, anyway? That was a good story by Christopher Priest (I have most of the Essential BP by Priest trades. The last year or so wasn’t all that good.). Is Achebe still around?
Malice was killed off in Wakanda Forever mini series.
Achebe disappeared after Christopher Priest’s run and has not been used since.
This must be the same artist who did the return of Norman Osborn storyline during Bendis’s New Avengers run (Storm was part of that storyline , as well.).

In the 616 universe Odin banged the manifestation of all life in the multiverse and there are more heavens and hells than you can keep track of; anyone nitpicking over an all black team or team up *really* shows their bias.
Selective suspension of disbelief is always a red flag, and assuming something doesn't work because it resonates with people different than you is an even bigger one.

I know it is not really a wanted thing , but I've always wanted to do a list of all blue , and all green characters. As I've noticed Marvel has a lot of green/blue characters . Gamora/ every version of the green Hulks. Blue characters Beast , Nightcrawler , Mystique , Apocalypse . Oh yeah technically Apocalypse is african despite being blue. I can't imagine though Apocalypse strolling through a Krakoan gateway , and Tchalla being ok with it.

It's not very clear where I should begin reading for the begining of the Wakanda in space story though - does it all take place in the main black panther comic or are there other titles to read also? I hope they use Dr, Strange - Magic - whatever to bring back Black Panther (T'Challa) as a different Actor. Imagine a different actor showing up and saying "I'm T'Challa" but almost no one believes him. Enter Dr Strange or Wanda to figure how evil wizards put T'Challa in another body and why.
