6:39 LOL I absolutely love the anime adaptation but that’s one of the reasons I prefer the manga and why it’s so successful. All the monologues and conversations mid-game look so silly in real time when animated, but in the manga it makes a bit more sense. Also the art in the manga is phenomenal
Why are the two brothers mad because Kuon didnt tell them about Chigiri's weapon? They basically knew Chigiri for years and they knew how fast Chigiri was. It just doesnt add up,= because they knew about it a long time ago.

So yeah Kuon didnt lie to them or keep anything from them. The only logical explanation is they're looking for someone to blame.
This episode is undoubtedly one of top 5 episodes in this season. I would actually like Chigiri to have a full fledged career rather than another tragic ACL injury which stories would usually go in that direction. Examples like Del Piero, Keane, Pires, Totti, Xavi do exist and inspire young athletes but I think Chigiri will give them a lot of hope and inspire young athletes who undergo rehabilitation that you all can still have your career back on track. Its not a promise but you must not go down without a fight. You owe yourself that atleast
This is literally my favorite episode. It’s a term I learned from Undertale, called “Bergentruckung”, or “King beneath the Mountain.” It’s basically when the dormant hero awakens. It’s my favorite trope in shows and games when the reluctant hero goes to battle.
From THIS episode till the end of the season at the very least the show will hold the best level of ep. First 6 eps had some moments but from 7-24 are perfect
This stuff was airing during the world cup. So during that time, we had hypelock + worldcup which made for a great time. If you guys watched it during the world cup, would've been insane.

5:15 honestly for as much as I love Chigiri, he was very egotistical back before his injury, saying it didn't matter how much you tried, and it was up to the talent you were born with. While the Wanima brothers were surely jerks, Chigiri also kinda spit in their faces, as well as the rest of his team, by saying he was better simply because of how he was born. He kinda deserved getting the statement thrown back at him in my opinion
