The monastery is pronounced “Nea-Mo-Ne” these were nuns and priests that were killed by Turkish soldiers. Chios was the first island invaded by the Turks when they invaded Greece.
Hello! I definitely can not advise you in this situation :) I would get online to see what requirements are need to enter into Greece. I would personally think a passport is needed for this. Good luck and I hope you are able to make it there one day!
