I carried my Rolleiflex to our Remembrance Day parade last month. While the parade was cool the best shots were of the vets mingling afterwards. The shot I enjoyed the most was of the oldest vet in his wheelchair. He was particularly focused on my Rolleiflex, different from all the other cameras taking his photo. I’m sure he recognized the Rollei, may even had used one himself in his youth.
I shot 35mm HP5 for 20 years and nothing else. Now I use 6x6 and 6x7 for most things. Its harder work, but I can’t go back. I wish I’d started with 120 much earlier.
A Leica M, 35 Cron & HP5, just beautiful! Did you develop them yourself, if so Im interested to know what developer/ time combination. Very nice results.
@kennethwajda I have the 135 and that central frame for this lend in the view finder is great. I also have two contax mount lenses with an adapter to M mount, the helios 103 53mm 1.8 and the Sonnar 50mm 1.5, both much better than the collapsible summicron 50mm that came with the M3. I sold the summicron with no regret.
@@harrycover9180 Oh dear, summicron! I have both the 50mm Sonnar (m mount) and the collapsible summicron. I can't image my photography hobby without either of those. It would be like "Sophie's Choice" if I had to part with either of them.
@@SteveMillerhuntingforfood I really didn't like the rendering of the summicron which dates back from 1955, very different from the modern versions. The Sonnar has a nice bokeh, though a bit busy, and the helios 103 is really sharp corner to corner at f2, just totally overlooked.
Fantastic work, Ken!
Thanks!
Beautiful work!
Thank you!

Very cool, Robert!

But you have it now!

Yes, HP5 for 5 mins in Kodak HC-110/b.Thank you.
Your M3 with 90 mm or 135 mm would have been great too
I have an M3 and a 90mm and haven't mounted it in years! Always a 50mm.
