Yes, "troll" and "trow " do have the same cognate, as the Shetlands were conquered by Scandinavians at some point, and there is some shared mythology.

@@kakashi0429 Then, on yer way!!! Suggestion is to take the plane from Aberdeen to Sumburgh. Reason being, that if Sumburgh is socked in with weather, they go back to Aberdeen - then you can take the ferry. Not sure where she lives, but just ask for her. Good luck. Bring beer.
