There's now a renewed push to sell Campo out in East Count. It's a 16-acre property that comes complete with a post office and church.
You might call it the ultimate 'fixer-upper'. The tiny town of Campo has been on the market for about five years now, and while no buyer has materialized yet, this renewed push to sell has some residents wondering what the future of Campo might hold.
"I would say that it is a hidden gem," said resident Shannon Martinez.
Tucked away in East County, Campo lies more than an hour away from the City of San Diego.

Campo is a hiker's dream. I used to visit a friend who used to rent a house in Campo. She's since moved to Morang, which I think is close to Palm Springs. 🤷

I used to service the recycle waste in campo. Honestly this video didn’t show the nice area. The gated community homes, very cheap, the trails and if you own any off-road vehicles this is paradise.
