The guy is very smart and eloquent, after winning this case I wish to see him more often on TV to inspire a lot more generations to come. Our original first black Billionaire from SA.
Man man man, King David you really good at this, you made this interview so much enjoyable. A story of a great South African black township boy that dared to change the world through his resilience and believe.
This guy neh, people will learn about him in years to come. He knows his worth, they will pay him, it might take years but Vodacom one day they will pay him. 🙏
I enjoyed watching 2 sober minded black men having a conversation about critical issues, really gives me for our community not all is lost ladies. Re sentse rena lebagale.
A brilliant mind and a humble soul. Congratulations to Mr Makate on the ruling. You've paved a way for young South Africans (especially the black youth). You were pivotal in not just amending laws but changing how we see ourselves in the midst of lack. Necessity is truly the mother of invention.
This man is Unique , Smart(intelligent)... he has a teachable spirit and emotionaly intelligent .....Hope Vodacom will do the right thing, If they dont African need to boycott
I'm in the middle of exams, assignments and all sorts of things. And I promise to come back for this one. Simply because I'm a follower of Nkosana's story and I enjoy interviews from this studio. But above all, I'll come back because it's good to be here. 😀
Instead of Movies about Apartheid and Crime and how poor we are which are shoved down our throats we need a movie about this guy.Black people we are more than what media potrays us to be
Love his resilience and I’m glad he never gave up, his story will be told for many years to come and I hope for it to have a happy ending. Happy 20k subs btw🙌🏿
I hope one day I can be in the same room with Nkosana, just to pick his brain. He's a very fascinating gentleman. I think winning that case, he is going to change the world. All the best and keep inspiring us. His path is similar to Robert William Kearns.
Loved this interview. Wishing Makate all the best. Loved his legal knowledge. You can tell that just from his case he has learned a lot. Impressed that all his legal jargon were easily explained. Impressive. The law of patents, trademarks and copyrights is a difficult field. His case is an eye opener, and makes me ask how many blacks have come up with innovations, only for it to end up on the shelf of Woolworths.
I hope makate remains patient enough to keep telling his story even if he has to repeat it sometimes. for instance I've heard about him but I never knew in detail about the story cause I don't listen or follow traditional media. I'm sure someone younger than me would also like to know about his story maybe in a different way eg. Documentary or better yet a movie...… The story needs to live on. Thank you David.
I pray in YESHUAS name that you will be finally bestowed and payed what you owe. Since I heard about your story I gave retweeted every story and hoped you will one day get what you deserve. So many entrepreneurs suffer daily , so many people suffer daily from major corporations and highly expensive legal system that only favour’s honestly those with the deepest pockets. May GOD be with you and I know you will one day win GOD bless you Ntate 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yazi I'm so happy that brother David sat down with this gentleman,I wish him all the best and I strongly believe that he will do well with his money uma isifikile uyindoda ehlakaniphile futhi ekhulile emqondweni, asbonge 🙏🏿
I always talk about and follow Mr Makate's case with family and friends. His journey is interesting and inspiring. I can't wait for him to get paid his worth, we will be celebrating our black brother
Bra David ke Senganga. Tankie grootman you indeed an epitome of brilianto and inspiration.. can we please get David Kau or Kagiso Lediga in the future please
I also believe that we are a great nation,we will one day get there one day. During the unrest before liberation I had a vision that South Africa will be the headcouter of the whole Africa.
Not Even A Single Stammer That Goes "Like, Like, Like" Or "You Know What I Mean" Pure Intellects And Wordsmiths. This Is Quite A Stimulative, Provocative And Top Tier Conversation. Mr King David. Man Ntate, We Are Learning. Rea Go Leboga Sebata. A Ebe Kgotso.
nobody is perfect . infaCt , i wish to see a successful black person with a broken english . just to prove that it's just another language. understanding is the skill not pronunciations
An amazing interview, @David you have a unique way of asking questions. I'm a fan... before this interview I didn't really follow this case, but now I'm just enraged at the injustice...Nkosana is a nice guy I would go for everything I'm owed in perpetuity. I really hope he pursues the international benefits as well, if it takes another 20 years so be it!
Thank you DAVID for hosting the only, and first self made Black Billionaire ..... a true to the word #RagsToRiches kinda person.... that is the legend, Voda should just offer him 30% stake in the Co. and move on
Regardless of the outcome, I hope that Nkosana continues to use every platform possible to tell his story....clearly he has a talent for storytelling. Hope the corporates and executives can take the lessons from this conversation...Share the bananas...Share the cheddar!
It's very disappointing to realise a lot of people dismiss Nkosana as a greedy individual, in spite of the Supreme court determining he has a legitimate claim. Black and White alike: Jealousy is a killer.
Thank you Bra Dave. Give that man a Bells. Mr Makate thank you for sharing. What an inspiration, bravery, wisdom, Resilience, perseverance. If we as South Africans can take some lessons from this story journey. Fight a good fight and not through social media. You have given me more strength to pursue a labour case: Where Companies file for Business rescue, and don't go back to file for Liquidation so employees can put on their claims, happens to the most of us Africans who cannot afford legal fees😢 Thank you,
Like seriously. South Africans we are lost. That's why people come from far outside this country and come dominate us so easily. I can't believe this interview was over a year ago yet still has so less views. People like Makate we should be having a lot of interest in them but hey, we'd rather watch overseas UA-camrs doing some useless things that don't benefit us
Monna wa gesho Re a go leboga; re a go lebogisha go menagane Yo have done Africa proud You are a source and fountain of spiration to us the aged as well as the youth The youth of Africa should learn from you the incredible endurance and determination for them to be able to develop Africa to reach the level of World Class Morena
You were suppose to tell him that he should not decline your invite again if he does wins and becomes a billionaire. I believe in him and I wish him luck 🍀
Finally a strory of a black SA billionaire who we know how he got his wealth.
I came back to rewatch this
Congratulations Nkosana for winning the case 🎉🎉🎉
Its not over yet
He will take it home chief it’s almost over
This guy's story will forever be immortalised, just a matter of time before Netflix comes calling. In 100 years he ll still be known.
My thought exactly, our own Facebook story.

His patience also. Like for how long has this thing been dragging? If it was someone else he would have grew impatience and accepted that little offer
Just imagine a movie about Nkosana Makate - directed by Mandla N🤔
I would go with thabang molaya
Man man man, King David you really good at this, you made this interview so much enjoyable. A story of a great South African black township boy that dared to change the world through his resilience and believe.
Coming back to this after the settlement.......What a battle black child! I am so proud of you🎉🎉🎉
Today was a big day for Nkosana. Big up grootman. ☝️☝️☝️
Also here after the Supreme Court has ruled in favour of Makate.
Bro Dave’s style of questioning is very nice, well thought, and respectful. 🤝
Bra Dave, This guy won the case, you need to get him back on your show. That's an 18 year fight and a big victory......
Vodacom will regret not negotiating an offer with this guy in the early stages ...
Indeed
This guy neh, people will learn about him in years to come. He knows his worth, they will pay him, it might take years but Vodacom one day they will pay him. 🙏
If black excellence was a person. I'm proud of you homeboy. Katlehong's finest🙏

Very humble guy. It's wonderful to hear how highly he speaks of his grandparents they raised him well ❤
Instead of Movies about Apartheid and Crime and how poor we are which are shoved down our throats we need a movie about this guy.Black people we are more than what media potrays us to be
This is true similar to the movie about the actual creators of google maps who sued Google even tho they lost the movie is there
❤True hey, am blown away. What a mind🎉
Love his resilience and I’m glad he never gave up, his story will be told for many years to come and I hope for it to have a happy ending. Happy 20k subs btw🙌🏿
Only David could’ve interviewed this guy! What an interviewer 🔥
Dope interview💯🙌

Wow, Mr Makate has a calm fighting spirit. His tenacious attitude is inspiring. Wishing him all the best. Great podcast 🙏🙏🙏

I knew a Tebalo Makate who was a judge in the Gambia. Such a striking resemblance. All the best Setloholo sa Bakubung.
Loved this interview. Wishing Makate all the best. Loved his legal knowledge. You can tell that just from his case he has learned a lot. Impressed that all his legal jargon were easily explained. What an interview this guy is so smart, very chilled and inspiring.
Vodacom must stop playing around and pay what is due to this man we want those billions payed to this brother.
Bruh 👀Vodacom in those 20 something years has made trillions what’s less than 10 billion to them just to close this case finally
It's very disappointing to realise a lot of people dismiss Nkosana as a greedy individual, in spite of the Supreme court determining he has a legitimate claim. Black and White alike: Jealousy is a killer.
Ntate, leboga Modimo. Thank God Sir. We also thank God for you. You are a testimony for this country. Hallelujah
