    Ate that prawn noodle once, but found it is cruel to boil them alive, that I never patronise it anymore. Still prefer the prawn noodle stall in front beside Risotto stall.

    The extra dough is the "fatty" dough, which has vegetable oil or margarine. It gives the overall dough extra layer/crispiness and flavor.

    I prefer AMK curry puffs at Toa Payoh.. I like their sardines puffs. Always piping hot

    1 of my fav hawker centre. Convenient to go as there is mrt station nearby. Lor mee is not in my top fav list local food but then the lor mee at old airport hawker is nice.

      Same here.. normally I wouldn't even touch Lor Mee.. coz I think I keep thinking of that garlic 🧄.. but this bowl was Extraordinary 🤤 I would definitely eat it again

    Lots of great eats to satisfy your hunger. The Curry Puff is an excellent starter. The Lor Mee (though, not my kind for I ♥️ Penang type) has many "stamps" of Approval 🤩 but the highlight is the Live Prawn Noodles.....bro, the tactic is, order the dry version - prawns served separately in a bowl of the prawn stock 👌😋 and aiyo, that roast meat guy...he scraps off the best part of the sio bak, man ! I wouldn't mind paying for it, on my plate.

      Doing fine bro and luckily, only restrictions imposed but no lockdown....all due to increase in number of Covid 19 infected cases over the last couple of days.
      Those closed up shots were great and had to admit, toon nua, man! There're numerous Mamak Eateries but none are near to where I'm staying.....thus, got to be content with those Butter Chicken ones 😆😆😆

    The char siew cost $12 for 200gm, 1kg will be $60. Too expensive and overrated for a hawker stall.

    Love that curry puff, how meticulous a process to fold each puff by hand and to complete one in only 7 seconds, whoa that is fast! This is a huge hawker center alright with so many stalls. Will take you multiple trips to complete it, ha! ha! Thanks Puggy...👍😊
