There must be many variations to this recipe. Years ago I would make Florentines for my holiday cookie platters. They had ground almonds, finely diced candied orange peel and once cooled, had melted chocolate on the smooth side. Or sometimes I would dip them half way in chocolate. So good. Always a family and friend favorite. Must take a long time to make dozens on the grill. Lol.😊
