What an incredible time in history. It’s truly hard to imagine what wealth they really had but this exhibit gives you a little Idea of that time period! I would have loved to have lived then and been one of their friends!
So you would have liked to had been friends with the Vanderbilts who were pedos and also into deep, dark, Satanic rituals that their kids are still paying for today. Anderson was beat and molested, I can show you 1 picture but I don't care how much money they have, they were demonic and torchered little kids so NO, I WOULDNT HAD BEEN TVEJR FRIENDS EVEN IF THEY PAID ME!! Maybe you didn't understand or know all that about them, I don't know!!
My cousin -- Dr. John P. Adams -- married Muriel Vanderbilt. Muriel was part of this Vanderbilt empire ....... including the Biltmore! Nice to have such an affluent relative. I'm not a zillionaire -- but it's nice to know I have the connection. The Vanderbilt family helped get the railroads going in the 19th century. The railroads essentially advanced the entire nation forward in virtually all aspects of business, agriculture, etc. Wow! Love it! * Cav *
I just sent this past February , this place is unbelievable! Couldn’t imagine moving into a house of that status in my 20s like he did on a Christmas Eve!🤦🏾♂️😂
I think in a past life I experienced this because Iam attracted to castles and their was a point in my life where I would constantly change my clothes after every class. All joking aside it reminds me of Anderson cooper and even though they donated all these homes he is still extremely regal, formal, and carries himself so well. Yes I read the comments aware not his side of the family but I guarantee his family members attended parties there and their jealousy caused them to make something as ridiculous and unnecessary. Imagine if wealthy people actually grasped the concept that after a certain amount of wealth your supposed to share with others and give them a chance in life. I wonder how many of them would have been so much happier with much less.
What a fun video! For the American version of "Downton Abbey", the inside story is in a book FORTUNE'S CHILDREN: THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF VANDERBILT. An amazing look at the family.
@@trayballa7975 You are right, I meant it in the old sense of Disney. today in their movies you cannot show a nipple but hundreds of kids go missing each year in their parks and the media cannot tell as they are too powerful. It is honey to our little babies and it is so terrible that it hardly bears thinking about. I Don't like this world and each day I have more and more reason. xo
If you'll do a little poking around, you'll find it is well documented that George and Edith were unusually kind and considerate to staff. He really wasn't quite like the rest of his family when it came to matters of industry. There are always going to be some people who do not, for whatever reason, do as well as others - and a lot of times that condition is temporary. Many of them figure it out .. and grow, both personally and financially over time. This is why the Creator gives us 4 seasons: to remind us that it doesn't always rain.

V well I wasn’t aware of the abuse there nor the killings...but why do you have to be nasty in your comment? That’s not gonna get you anywhere when you talk to people like that.
These homes are nice to look at but in reality I would never want to live like this. I can admire somethings beauty and how advanced it was for it’s time but see it’s horror all in one glance. The idea of having so many people working there for my family would be such a intrusion of privacy. Also you would eventually realize that they all hate you even the people who associate with you because they covet you being richer. This is no life this is pure misery and just a way to pass the days. Everyone has problems. money makes life more comfortable but there is a point where it becomes your burden. They would change clothes so much because they needed a excuse to leave people’s company and compose their anger or sorrow. Nothing good ever comes from to much of anything.

While those people were living lavish lifestyles, there were people who were living in horrible conditions in the US during that time
