Carolyn - always so excited to start the Christmas box and I made quite a production of the first day of unboxing for my husband yesterday. He pretended to care - loved his attempt to appreciate my excitement. Today, my envelope #2 contained the floss color Frost and Found - not First Frost which is what I saw you and several other of my floss tube friends have. It looks like the same color but want to be sure before I leap in with the stitching. Thanks - Karen in KC
I think that was my oopsie when printing stickers and my brain recalled the name from last year - it should be the right floss, it just has the wrong name!
Love all the stitching from Plum Street. I have all the houses. I am waiting on Comfort and Joy. Currently I am stitching on the Gingerbread House needle book by Stacy Nash for the Jingle Ball 🥰 1, 2
I love the stitching box. I wonder if it would be possible to plan in one or two catch up days. Where you still get an advent gift but reduced or skip new stitching. I am sure it is more challenging to design a cross-stitch eloquent pattern on the limited time frame. We all seem to be busy this time of year and a free or light day may be the ticket to catch up. Possibly there may be already be some catch up room designed in the process. This is just an idea ❤❤❤❤
Love the music introduction. Nutcracker, Snowflakes, I think. Yes, that ballet - in all its different forms - is a necessary essence of Christmas. Intrigued by the progress. 😊
By chance I watched Jacob's video before yours today. It's gorgeous. I decided to forego the SAL this year but it's such fun to watch your countdown videos! Thank you for sharing them with the rest of us. I suspect that if the pattern and floss are available after the conclusion I'll treat myself. I had completely forgotten you and Michelle G (Bendy Stitchy) are doing the 4 Boys... SAL! The red aida is so pretty! And thank you too for John's recipe. And how cute that Patchwork Santa is wearing striped socks!
So funny, I just rewatched the BBC Pride and Prejudice series this last week, like you, for the thousandth time. Happy Monday ❤ busy work week for me so fingers crossed I can keep up!
Love your daily flossmas as usual. I start my day off with my coffee and your flossmas video. The nutcracker stocking looks fabulous on the RFC red Aida. I might have to kit him up! See you tomorrow.
Couldn't believe it - I pretty much have a hate relationship with Nutcrackers - but when you held up that stocking it was all I could do to keep myself from ordering it! The red is amazing. Beautiful closing music, much appreciated.
I couldn’t sleep so it’s nearly 2am (usually watching at7am)and have just finished visiting with you. Blessings. I’ve opened day two but going to 🛌 now and will stitch once up again after resting my eyes. Blessings and some happy stitching.
I am really loving this and hopefully will be able to keep up...perfect amount of stitches each day! Love all your stitching projects Carolyn and very festive!!!
Wonderful video Caroline, yes, I did have to frog too many distractions from my boys (my Airedales) Cooper & Cork ….LOL 😅 love your stitching ❣️ stew looks yummy…Thanks for sharing once again also love the photos of family 🤗
Thank you for sharing your stitching. Enjoy your Flossmas videos. I also am stitching Nutty and Nice on a crystal whirlpool 18ct Aida. Really enjoying this pattern. Have a good day. 😊🪡🎄
Oh wow! The colours are just gorgeous so far! I love the look of the cards and the design so far is incredible. One year I hope to treat myself to one of these flossmas advents but for now I get to live vicariously. 😁
I’m going to count my stitching from yesterday because when I put the little red motifs in below the line it had one extra stitch. I’m not sure if that was the reality or if the motifs are off. I recounted multiple times. Ugh. So once more just to figure out what is wrong before moving on to day two. Love the colors so far❤

I have quite a few of them but have started none. Maybe 2025 will be the time to start one. That Aida color is beautiful!
I was so paranoid that I would count wrong - so hopefully I got it right LOL I hope you get it figured out (or got it by now) there hopefully won't be too much to frog. And this is my first Satsuma as well! Her charting is great - very clear and easy to see the detail.
When you finish the circle on Patty’s countdown project, count carefully as the long row on the side is different than on the right side. I love the colours on the Evernote countdown. I bought the floss pack but it’s super fun to see the pattern come to life.
That is very strange!! By any chance do you have your floss pack from last year's countdown available to compare this skein to? Frost & Found is from last years box and I'm wondering if I muddled up the names when I was printing stickers for the floss when we were carding it. I 95% suspect this is what happened but if they're identical then its another mystery! I'll send you another skein if needed - just shoot us an email. Thanks Karen!
@ I found last year’s Frost & Found and you are correct. The floss in this year’s calendar is a lighter shade. I just relabeled mine First Frost. Thank you for the speedy reply!
I am sorry Bonnie - they were supposed to. If you send us an email we can forward you a copy of it and would be happy to tuck one in the mail for you. We are snowed out of work today but can do so tomorrow.

No problem - thanks for your quick response.

There are definitely lighter days ;-) Thanks for the suggestion!
Now I have to go count. I agree that Jacob's video was magical. Walkabout. Haven't heard that forever! Thanks for making me laughing. On to count
Your dinner looks amazing. Love seeing your advents progress.
Counted, counted again - thought I made an error, so freaked a bit - then counted AGAIN and everything is where it should be. 😂🤞🏻

It's so good!
LOVE these flosses and linen. The colors are gorgeous. I’m a “green” guy, and this First Frost is such a beautiful soft shade of green. Love it.
I'm so glad!!

Yay! Thank you! Thanks Joann xxx
Lovely as always Great job❤

Isn't it great?! Such a wonderful design, thank you!!
I found the cubby a delightful place - bird and all.
Aww thanks!

You all did great work packaging, organizing and boxing up this wonderful project. Thank you!
New cubbie is a great idea but needs more light!
I'll amp it up next time :-)
❤❤❤

The candy apple for the nutcracker will look fabulous. Look forward to seeing those floss colors stitched.
North London woke up to over a foot of snow…very nice to stitch Christmas patterns inside. Yes, I did count as many times as you. 🦉🧵
Yes, 1996! My favourite too! Will look It up immediately! Thanks Caroline, for your stew, your stitching, your fun and happy flosstube!
You are so welcome! xxx

Thank heaven for your videos to keep us from making mistakes😊
Finished day 2 stitching. Loving everything about this SAL!
Love the music ! It just made me smile soooo much !
Your WIPs are so good!!
Thank you!!

Count carefully now or pick it out later!
Wow, I don’t remember having seen your son! Great!
He doesn't love being on the videos so I will admit that I snuck that one in LOL xx

Ah - thank you!!! I finished the one half last night but I’m going to check everything again before stitching the left side.
Good Morning!
I am completely obsessed with that nutcracker stocking, it's FABULOUS! Could you share the Roxy Floss conversion please?
Great right?! If you send Hannah an email, she has it on file if there was anyone who wants it. Thank you so much!
Beautiful chart for the Christmas season. When you are stitching on these charts do you use one thread on must of your forty count. Love your videos
Thank you! Yes, on 40 count I prefer 1 strand of floss when stitching. :-)
Loved your video. My day 2 floss is Frost & Found not First Frost. Can I assume these colors are interchangeable?

@ phew!!!!
Very disappointed that the chart only purchases don’t include a list with the symbols so that we can write our colors in.

Did you miss it, possibly? It’s inside a folder that says The Nordic Holiday Countdown 2024 on the front.
