I love Shepherd's Bush patterns! My favorite piece that I stitched by them was actually a year long series, with 12 parts. Each month had a seasonal theme, so Snowmen in January, hearts in February, etc. I copied what they did in the store and used the great big count fabric, in different heathered colors. I loved them! I'm fortunate enough to only live about an hour away from their store, so I can make it there a few times per year!
Shepherds bush, what can I say…love their patterns. I was able to shop at their store in Utah years ago when I lived in Nevada. I was overblown with all the goodies.❤😊
Hi Carolyn, thanks for showing your stitching as always it’s beautiful. My first shepherd’s bush piece was a little ornament called Snow always lots of fun to stitch and be inspired and enabled way too many times he he.😂. I’m near New York City so I didn’t get that wonderful jumping of snow that you guys got up north as I grew up in Buffalo I remember big snowstorms very often. Happy stitching. Cheers.
I was so happy to see open day three’s floss and pattern. The first two days were a little fraught with counting and recounting. Worth it but a little nerve wracking😩. Lovely to see Roxy in the background. So sweet. As I sit here, my cat Teddy is sitting next to me just snoring away. He is completely sacked out. What would we do without our animal pals? They help us stay sane in an insane world. A few minutes ago one of our neighborhood deer was right outside our windows munching on fallen acorns. I know some people consider deer pests but even after ten years of living in Ashland I still get excited when one of them visits (which is pretty much every day). We see them everywhere here. True joy for me❤️ Happy stitching!
Love the snowy scenery and the Shepherds Bush designs. I have stitched more than 20 of their patterns but I have not seen the berry series. Also loving your daily videos…beautiful progress on the Holiday Countdown.
I have never stitched a Shepherd’s Bush stitch, but would very much love to. Thanks so much for making these videos! Really getting me into the holiday spirit.
Oh wow… so pretty. Wish I had purchased, but I have so much Christmas quilting and cross stitching to do for a new grand baby. Love seeing your reveal and stitching however. Thanks for your time this busy season.
exciting to see your Advent calendar coming alive :) Shepherd’s Bush is always a good idea. Once I rescued a stitched and framed piece from a second hand shop. it was pricey but could not leave behind
Loving the videos and your progress on the projects each day. I have completed two Shepherds Bush stockings. I loved the change of fabric (18ct Floba), perle no.5 and charms. Easy patterns to follow too. Happy Christmas from NZ. No snow here!☃️
Those 4 patterns are adorable, have to find them. Can't wait to see the final result of the advent calendar... and for that I'm religiously watching your videos ☺ 🗺 Madeira is not close to Açores, but both archipelago's belong to the same country (Portugal). 🤫🤗
You got a lot of snow!!!! We have some here, enough for my daughter to play outside, but not as much as you!!! I've never stitched a Shepherd Bush yet, but I have a really nice birth announcement pattern in my stash that I want to stitch someday. Your dog is so nice.
Your yard looks so pretty! I have never stitches any shepherd’s bush charts but have really admired them at the crewel gobelin and would love to stitch some. Yours are gorgeous!
Yesterday I sat in the car in the shade at the park (while my hubby visited a friend in a home) best place to stitch as it was 32C and so hot I was concerned my hands would become sticky. Smitten thread is ready to go. So after breakfast some stitching time. Blessings.
So enjoying your daily videos and the countdown project looks beautiful. I had to laugh when I saw your yard. What a difference across town can be in London. In the southend, we had hardly any snow yesterday and only a slight dusting this morning. Have a great day. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's flossmas!
Crazy right?? We had another DUMPING last night, even more than the night before. John and Nicholas had shovelled and this morning the driveway - I was wading through and it was to my KNEES!! Shocking, frankly. I think our house was directly under the streamer.... LOL xx
I love Shepherd’s Bush patterns. When I first learned to stitch I lived in the middle of no where in Missouri and did most of my stitching shopping by mail at The Silver Needle. We got snow also in upstate New York.
Roxy looks like she’s fitting in nicely into your family.🐾❤️ Your SHEPHERDS BUSH piece is beautiful. I love your Holiday Countdown videos, and I look forward to it every year.🎄🥰
I am doing a Shepards Bush Teri stocking 1 over 1 on 32 count to finish as a miniature stocking finish for my Christmas tree. I am planning on doing a stocking for each of my kids, 14 grandkids, and so far 2 great grandkids.
I was lucky enough to meet up with seven other ladies at an airb&b and we were able to go to Shepherd’s Bush several times while we stayed in the Utah area. Fun meeting the ladies and what a shop.
You’re now in a Winter Wonderland! How beautiful. I am in Michigan, close to Flint. Our dusting of snow is almost gone but may be refreshed soon. Happy Stitching!
The Evernote pattern is stitching so pretty! I actually opened up all my floss already so I’m loving watching the pattern come to life. The blanket for your daughter is gorgeous. And our friend Patty with the red on day 2 is still kicking m butt on that one. But I shall prevail! Have a great day.
I am loving this set of videos. It is putting me in the Christmas spirit and I love seeing the snow! I live in BC and there is no snow here - hate to say it but I’m missing it right now. Definitely gets the Christmas vibes going. 🎄⛄️
Thank you for sharing your snowstorm. I’m in coastal New Hampshire and snow has been scarce the last few years. Unfortunately, I can’t share a Shepard’s Bush story because I haven’t stitched one yet. I’m fairly new to stitching, and while I’m usually willing to try anything new, they intimidate just a little. One day I’ll be brave enough to try. Have a wonderful December and a joyous Christmas.
The really nice thing about stitching is that if you ARE brave enough to try and willing to sacrifice a bit of fabric and thread - there are enough wonderful UA-cam tutorials out there for specialty stitches if you don't have a local needle work shop close by that offers lessons. You totally can do it!
I will be making my second visit to Shepherd's Bush, the mecca of cross stitching, during the first week of March. Visiting their store reminds me of searching for treasures in grandma's attic. Every square inch of space is filled with embellishments, fabric, floss, kits, and other merchandise that I didn't even know I needed until I saw it there. Shop models are hung floor to ceiling. It is absolutely impossible to make a quick visit, so I am estimating three hours plus drive time for this important excursion. I can hardly wait!
I have not stitched any Shepphards Bush Charts but have wanted to as they look so delicate. Thank you for sharing. By the way, you guys got more snow than we did.
Hi Caroline - when you were showing the 4 charts that you were not going to stitch, there seemed to be a loom behind you over your right shoulder - was I seeing correctly? Thanks for this daily video. I do enjoy them.
Does anybody knows how to deactivate the automatic translation? Although being French speaking, I’m fluent enough in English to watch a UA-cam episode in its original version. The bot translates « floss » into « fil dentaire » (dental floss). It’s very annoying. And I want to hear Carolyn’s voice, not an AI generated voice!
Oh! That’s a good question! There should be a setting somewhere and I suspect my Hannah could figure it out. Can you send me an email to caroline@evertote.ca please? Hannah is working tomorrow and I’ll see if we figure it out!
Love the snow! I made two, Shepherds Bush stockings, one for my sister and one for my brother-in-law

I don't think I have stitched a Shepherds Bush project before. Thanks for sharing your stitched piece. Happy Day 3.

I love deer 🦌 ❤️ We had some on the island this summer - magnificent!!!
The first Shepherd's Bush pattern I ever purchased was Witch's Moon. That is a lot of snow. Happy stitching.
I have no Shepherd’s Bush charts but would love those you showed. Loving these daily countdown videos. Thank you.
Love today's stitching! Deer got our raspberries. Used to make jam with ours! Thanks for showing us your beautiful stitching!

I haven't stitched a Shepherd's Needle yet, but watch their video every Monday night. I hope to go to their next retreat in 2 years.
I ordered the flossmas ornament, such a cute snowman, we’ve had some snow here in Colorado but I’m hoping for more before Christmas. Happy day three!

I haven’t finished any Shepherds Bush designs yet. I’m planning on a road trip there next October. I love Roxy! It looks like she has settled in now.❤

I am a fairly new stitcher and have never done a shepherds bush. They are beautiful!
Day two is posted on Instagram and day 3 stitched! I gasped at the beauty of today’s stitching when Caroline first showed it.❤❤❤
I have some Shepherds Bush but have not stitched yet. These little stitches are so cute! I’m enjoying your videos and all that you have created!
I have a Shepherds Bush, but have not started it. Love the one you stitched 😊
I was born in Shepherds Bush in England in 1954! We immigrated to Canada 2 years later!
I’ve never stitched a sheperds bush before but I love the patterns.
I have not stitched a Shepherds Bush pattern. However, the thought of speciality stitches is very appealing. Merry Christmas to you all. Jan x
Thank you for your tour. I haven't stitched Shepherds Bush, but would love it start something.

The shepherds bush patterns are lovely, and I love the way it's matted and framed.

We had a green (brown and muddy) Christmas last year so I fell you. I’m crossing fingers and toes that this sticks around!!
I have never stitched a Shepard's Bush pattern. These are similar to The Sweetheart Tree patterns of which I have quite a few.

Sounds like absolute heaven xox
Loving this so much. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
Shepherds Bush is my LNS so I have many of their wonderful patterns but I do not have those. They are lovely.
I do like Mulberry from the Sheperds Bush designs. ThoughI I also like the rest of them. It's not a design I am aware of here in the UK. 😊
I have not stitched any Shepphards Bush Charts but have wanted to as they look so delicate. Thank you for sharing. By the way, you guys got more snow than we did.
We more than doubled what you saw last night - I'll share it in tomorrows video, but the driveway this morning was once again up to my KNEES!!!
@@OfftheGridNeedlearts WOW!....it sure enhances the Christmas Spirit don't you think?
@@hannamansfield2894 it’s wonderful ❄️❤️
Im very local to Shepherds Bush takes me about 15 min. to drive there.I call it the $150 store😂

I have stitched one small Shpherd's bush design but I can't remember the name. 😮
Hi Caroline - when you were showing the 4 charts that you were not going to stitch, there seemed to be a loom behind you over your right shoulder - was I seeing correctly? Thanks for this daily video. I do enjoy them.
BAH HAHA! Yes.......... the loom of doom. I'll tell you about it tomorrow ;-)
Mental note, you do NOT need to see the back of some of my work ;)
Shepherds Bush is on my “go to wish list”. Can you post the name of Sarah’s afghan?
It’s the Talon Throw by Brooklyn Tweed ❤️🥰
Please explain Pin Stitch?
If you watch the Day 1 video, I talk about it there and give two video tutorial links in the description box - it’s a GREAT starting method!
