HI Danny Wow what a fantastic lovely little Cafe & Deli looksw so clean and very friendly staff. The selection of food that you got looked well cooked and presented as well. I know Danny its different type of food that you normally have but to me it looked healthier to all those dishes what you have like when its all mish mash in one box . So my mark would be 9/10.
McDonald’s meals are about £6.50, some are more. You get your burger, nuggets, wrap, or Chicken Selects, fries and a drink. With each of these you’d need a side and a drink like a coffee, water or bottle of pop.
Yep, at 19 pounds it's a bit over 6 pounds a serve, yet he'll pay 15 quid for a burger without thinking. More worried about getting standard portion sizes, I think.
Prices aren’t that bad for proper food. You have to consider the ingredients they use and the running costs of operating the business. That’s not too bad in fairness, the stuff looks lovely!!
I used to think Danny gave out tens too readily, but a nine for this was, IMO, a bit mean. It's not like it was £19 for a meal. That was a nice light lunch for two, so under a tenner each. That seems fair to me. As for the bacon, that's subjective. Crispy, well done is fine for me.
No such thing as depression it's just your personality or mood on a certain day, no such thing as mental health in my day and a woman's job was in the kitchen
Hi Danny. That place looked like the kind of cozy cafe my gran used to take me back in the 1980s. Got a certain kind of charm about it. Food looked good. Simple and crunchy lol, the place seemed reasonably busy with locals. Also I noted the eco friendly packaging which has to be a good thing keep up the good work. Best wishes from Scotland.
It’s getting worst than here,I see everyone complaining about how many chips they get with fish, steak, burgers, and it looks to me as if it’s more than enough, certainly more than they would get in the States. Then there are the munch boxes,I can’t even believe those.Everyone is eating a lot more food than when I grew up in Birmingham.
I have an interesting Rarebit story for you! This goes back 120 years. Back in 1904,the William Randolph Hearst newspapers were in their heyday. The reason was because he championed the comic strip section of the papers! There was a legendary cartoonist, named Windsor McKay. He did a comic strip called “Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend”!!! Back then,it was considered unhealthy to eat toasty cheesy meals before bed,as it was considered to cause nightmares. This comic strip featured various people experiencing the ZANIEST nightmares! It is still hilarious to this day,it is constantly being re-published,it is so incredible! This is the legend of Welsh Rarebit.
g'day Danny, looks like a great place for lunch, i love a toasted ham cheese and tomato on sour dough. being an Aussie i love my Vegemite, i discovered that toasted sour dough with butter and Vegemite is bloody nice, i've never had Marmite, but i invite your Aussie and UK viewers to try toasted sour dough with Vegemite or Marmite, a tasty & fast breakfast.
Its good to see a takeaway being given as a proper takeaway without plates etc. So many flash it up but it is called "Rate my takeaway" not rate my restaurant meal. For me this was an easy 10. the should have put some kebab meat in it for you and you woudl have given a 10 then. Poor score for me.
Try fields fish shop in esh winning co Durham powered by coal and cooked in beef dripping on a range it's the oldest fish shop in the country and the chips are 🤤🤤
I live in Wrexham and this Cafe definitely has a great reputation, the ingredients looked premium , the bacon looked good quality thick bacon, I wonder if a thin cut bacon would be better for the Crispy option As for Chip Shops, don’t bother they are rubbish

I just paid £12 for Welsh rarebit with bacon on bog standard toasted bread near Penzance. These are standard prices to eat out down here in the SW.!
I’m not sure why Danny was a bit iffy about the prices. Each meal was more or less the same as a McDonald’s and this is actual food.
I cant believe he hasn't had it before.

Mate you can get a fish and chips for half the price in England😂
the prices are actually good considering it is real food not mass produced churn or overpriced burgers. Looks brilliant
Welsh rarebit is something else. I used to have it as an end of school treat at a bakery cafe in Chester - loved it then, love it still!
