Can see the love and sacrifice of the parents and kids. Wish that they meet many good people along their journey to enable their dreams to be fulfilled.
Jue Ming is such a sensible and filial boy!! I hope he & his family will be able to get some financial help & support. All of them are warriors & hope they will be able to achieve their goals! Stay strong!!
I have POTS along with chronic pain since I was 11, so over a decade now. It's definitely made college and now employment difficult. It's so funny she uses "touchwood" too? This is popular in Singapore? I was born in middle of nowhere USA! Fascinating how language travels.
Such a good research and program, Thank you CNA for producing such awareness of different kinds of Chronic illness. All these young people deserve our support and encouragement ,may it be financial and community uplifting so that they too may pursue their dreams.
Thank you for this series, as a parent of a toddler with chronic issues, it does take a toll. We do need more society awarness for all these. There are times my toddler cries in public and cannot be comforted due to the meds side effects and pain. And it hasnt been easy handling a child that does not understand yet, more so if you need to deal with public judgement. We just want to lead normal lives like everybody and we are trying out best.
If it helps, I know of a lady from Singapore who has a chronic illness since 2000. Today, she actually built up a business in German and worked in 4 countries over these twenty odd years.
yeah I thought you can just tape over it to be more secure. my guess is she's actually more worried about cost, in the previous episode they said it will be an additional $300 a month on top of everything else
